*3 years post-graduation, July 2008 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania*

Jeomi has been working in a flooring store for over three years after graduation cause he loves working in the flooring company he's waiting for the next customers somehow. Before the break, the employee doesn't care about Jeomi taking a break the other two employees confront each other and he goes outside. He's taking a quick walk taking out his cigarette and smoking once he walks past the neighborhood houses.

Speaking of the neighborhood house of two neighbors Ruby and Blank, Ruby did exercise for the next 42 minutes once she was sweating after stopping for a minute she sat on the ground and took a break before Blank got back home right on time and was sweating as well after he took off jogging.

Blank: Hey.

Ruby: Hey, how's your running?

Blank: Perfect.

Ruby: All I see is your whole face is sweating when it's hot outside.

Blank: Shit.

Ruby: It's July anyway. We already have a plan to go on the cruise.

Blank: Let me tell you right now, if I was on the cruise, I should sing in the karaoke.

Ruby: I bet you can sing very well and I am too.

Blank: *sits next to her*

Ruby: Are you feeling ok?

Blank: *nods*

Ruby: So...are you in?

Blank: Of course, I'm in.

Ruby: *holding around his neck and smiles a bit*

Blank: *feels it and smiles*

Ruby: This is my first time to be in the cruise. I'm not gonna lie but my family had to decide to wait at this moment.

Blank: *hearing*

Ruby: We can do this shit.

At the basketball court, father and son, Todd and Willard play basketball one by one during the conversation about the future. Todd doing better shooting the ball like his father when Willard keeps his promise.

Todd: What do you think you should move away?

Willard: I don't know. Your mom is still a good friend to me as long as she is getting a new relationship. Not me.

Todd: She shouldn't. She wants you to ruin everything after she gets some.

Willard: Get the fuck out here with that toxic relationship. Because if you do, that's on you. You will be wasted. *shoots the ball*

Todd: Papi, once I get the money, I'm moving out. That makes sense to me I'm getting older enough.

Willard: I was going to say the same thing.

Todd: Yeah. I'm about to get to the mansion once I was watching "Cribs" to see they have many rooms.

Willard: Todd, it's too much money.

Todd: Let me guess, a million dollars.

Willard: You wish. It is.

Meanwhile, Blood and Ese crew with Bailey chilling on the street while Jeomi, Todd, and Willard are still out of town until they get back later on tonight. The girl, Clara walked past the Blood and Ese crew on the spot and kept walking on the way back home from the library while Bailey looked at Clara she looked away and headed back with the crew. Meaningless, Jorge got the car back from the auto repair when he drove back home while Clara saw Jorge's car she had known him the last time from high school when she graduated last month she waved at him and he waved at her back.

*Charlene's apartment*

Charlene began to cook meatloaf, broccoli, and rice after bringing the food from the market earlier. When she is cooking, Emma comes to visit her apartment when she arrives and joins with her.

Emma: Sorry, I'm late. Traffic is killing me today.

Charlene: It's all because of the 4th of July weekend.

Emma: I'm thinking about it.

Charlene: Ok, let's start cooking before it gets dark. *smiles*

Later, Miller and Scott take a walk to the park around the corner as soon as Scott gets a call from the crew, he talks to the crew about making a move for more situation and Scott declines for today. He wants to hang out with Miller for today when Scott is still the leader of the crew at the moment while Miller has taken a break years ago.

Scott: So what do you think, Miller? Are you back in business or what?

Miller: I don't know. I gotta think about it when it goes around with Kate.

Scott: How's your brother doing?

Miller: He's doing just fine. He's taking care of something in prison but he's getting out soon.

Scott: If you need anything, the door is always open.

Miller: Sounds fair.

Scott: *gives him a fist bump*

Miller: *doing the same*

Later that night, Candy eats the food at the Chinese restaurant until Jada comes inside and confronts her.

Candy: Jada?

Jada: Candy. *smirks*

Candy: I thought you were dead.

Jada: Maybe.

Candy: What the hell are you doing in here?

Jada: I'm just confessing.

Candy: Well, who is it?

Jada: You don't have to tell me. My partner has been in prison for three years now. You know what it felt like?

Candy: Illegal activities.

Jada: *sighs*

Candy: Listen, I don't like to be rude I'm the only one here eating because I'm starving like a motherfucker.

Jada: Really?

Candy: I don't have a problem with your partner at all. Someone would.

Jada: You see. *walks away*

Meanwhile, Emma and Charlene eat together after they are done cooking over a few hours.

Charlene: Thanks for spending time with me for cooking.

Emma: Sure thing.

Charlene: I wonder if we can go out to the beach on the 4th of July in the nighttime.

Emma: That will be wonderful. I have to ask Eric when he's going or not. He had a work for a week.

Charlene: I can't blame you.

Kate drove back to Philly she was driving on the highway in the next hour and she got the message from Miller, he said:

Miller: *texts Kate* Are you back yet?

Kate: *texts* Not yet, babe. I've been taking a long road for a few hours.

Miller: *texts* I think you will be tired after this.

Kate: *texts* Yeah.

Tasha, Jessica, and Sydney went to the casino after they got out of the cab they enjoyed inside the building playing the gamble of the night when it seemed like the three of them got some cash.

Tasha walks all around the casino and also, and she is checking two of them to see if they're playing the gamble when she is making sure one of them is winning. She smirks and is proud of both of them when Sydney plays the cards while she is taking a turn.

Tori and Jackie hanging around at Center City in Philly with the largest building, Tori has a photo camera to take pics a couple of times when Ruby comes to them.

Ruby: Damn, how many pictures would you take?

Tori: Ruby, what are you doing out here?

Ruby: Get some fresh air. Philly is so hot.

Tori: Do you think so? You wanna feel comfortable with us at the moment?

Ruby: Nah, I can't. Plus, I gotta run shortly.

Tori: So, both of you are going on the cruise this summer?

Jackie: Wait a minute, I wanna go there except for my family.

Ruby: You know what, you look hard.

Jackie: Hmm.

Ruby: Next time. I gotta be honest with you, Tori. But I know the fireworks are tomorrow. Can you bring me the firecracker so I can blow everything up?

Tori: Let me clarify to you, I just have a little money on me.

Ruby: Damn it. *quietly*

Jackie: *looks down*

Ruby: Don't waste your camera lenses. *walks away*

The next day, Tami drives to Chinatown to pick up Candy she horns with a car as she is waiting for her but the only thing is Candy took so long is because her ex-boyfriend were arguing with each other.

Candy's boyfriend: Uh-uh, you're not going no fucking where! *grabs her wrist*

Candy: Get your demon hands off me, bitch! *released him*

Candy's boyfriend: Do you know I worked hard when I got the money before we moved in together soon? For two fucking years.

Candy: You know what, you giving your dirty boys with the money except me when you tried to move with me? This is my house now. I have nothing to respect you anymore I don't need this shit for you. Do you think I'm a charity case?

Candy's boyfriend: *sighs*

Candy: *looks at him*

Candy's boyfriend: *punches her in the face*

Candy: *falls to the floor and gets up* Motherfucker!

Candy's boyfriend: *blocked her after being attacked* Calm down, calm your ass down!

Candy: *kicking the ball*

Candy's boyfriend: *grunts and grabs her neck*

Candy: *grunts and tries to breathe*

Candy's boyfriend: Your crew pulled you up because you fucking bitch?!

Tami: *kicks the door and points the silencer gun at him*

Candy's boyfriend: *sees her*

Tami: *shoots his chest*

Candy's boyfriend: *falls to the floor*

Candy: *exhales and takes a breath*

Candy's boyfriend: Fucking bitch...

Tami: This is the last time you disrespect her motherfucker. *points his head with the silencer gun and kills him*

Candy's boyfriend: *dead*

Candy: Thanks, partner.

Tami: Candy, I got your back. No matter what happens if any men who puts his hands on you next time.

Candy: I got you.

Tami and Candy give respect and handshake each other.

Meanwhile, Clara is waiting for Eric at the bus station when she is smoking a cigarette quickly. She took out the phone and called her mom but she declined when the bus came before Eric got off the bus and saw her standing there.

Eric: *walks over to her* You must be the newest member?

Clara: About a month ago.

Eric: Where's the car?

Clara: I'll show you.

Clara is driving in the car with Eric when she drives to the park and meets up with The Core Squad crew.

Malik: *sees him inside the car*

Eric: *gets out of the car with Clara*

Malik: Welcome back.

Eric: It depends. I have a few plans for y'all.

Malik: Just hold on to that. Tonight is the night. We're gonna go out there and watch the fireworks and pretend nothing happened. So today, some of the folks are going to the beach in AC to have fun.

Eric: Interesting. I will not be joining.

Malik: Ok well, this is not a type when I'm certainly not going to.

Eric: Who else is staying with us?

Malik: Liv is on vacation for the rest of the summer.

Jenny: How are we supposed to do while I'm staying?

Malik: We have to keep it corner together.

Eric: All of you agree with him?

All: Yeah.

Malik: Let's keep this shit moving.

Heather and Jerrica take a quick walk around the city when they walk past the bus stop, Jerrica follows Heather to the crosswalk, where she sees the bank company.

Heather: Jerrica? I wonder if we can go inside to take a look.

Jerrica: Are you crazy

Heather: It seems like now, I need some money so I can stay away from my family. For the rest of my life.

Jerrica: I don't wanna feel bad for you. I don't like you ending up in jail because you are my best friend.

Heather: I rather I can stay outside and get my money then.

Jerrica: Yeah. *nods*

Carl is watching Swish and Clara spraying can with another signature when he's enjoying it and keeping them careful out of the streets.

Swish: *stops spraying for a minute and tries to confront Clara* Yo?

Clara: *keeps spraying* What's up?

Swish: Yo?? Look at me for a minute.

Clara: *looks at him*

Swish: I ran out of the can.

Clara: Mine is almost. But it's done though.

Swish: We have to go back to Malik to see what he has to say about more importantly.

Kelley and Jenna walked to the two performing arts theatres they stopped and looked at the buildings while confronting each other about the others.

Kelley: I know it's been a lot of plays in there for the night because the last time I saw the Broadway show was Les Miserables.

Jenna: Really? How was it?

Kelley: It is actually really good. I'm telling you, those piece of work of art was classic.

Jenna: Ahh.

Kelley: There are so many theaters around in this city, pretty much as I can go to the other theatre to see different shows with new Broadway.

Jenna: I feel you.

Kelley: I can imagine either I'm gonna work with the security.

Jenna: Because you're a cop?

Kelley: Yes.

*At Books & Records store*

Scott arrives at the building he starts searching for the CDs for the hip-hop/rap section. Meanwhile, Bailey is working at the place where she saw him when she recognized Scott for quite a while and she is waiting to come in the next line until Scott collects four CDs and comes to the counter right in front of Bailey.

Bailey: Scott.

Scott: What's up, B?

Bailey: How's it hanging?

Scott: Pretty much. How's your work?

Bailey: I'm just doing my job right now. Scanning your CDs. 

Scott: I can appreciate what you have done so far. Pretty much as my crew better hurry up before I end this thing tonight.

Bailey: Are they in trouble?

Scott: Not at all.

Bailey: My gang is open free today and they just set ready for fireworks tonight and doing all crazy is shit. So here you go, player.

Scott: *smirks and gives her exchange money* Keep it change.

Bailey: *nods*

Scott: *leaving*

Bailey: Tell Miller to say, what's up?

Meanwhile, Jeomi driving to the cafe when his car stops at the parking lot when he gets out of the car and goes inside the building. 

Jessica: *takes a sip of the black coffee and hears someone*

Jeomi: It tastes good?

Jessica: *turns around and sees him* Jeomi.

Jeomi: *sits in the chair next to her*

Jessica: How you've been?

Jeomi: Long day. I'm trying to take a day off for a holiday.

Jessica: Damn. That's a shame. 

Jeomi: Well, I'm here right now and getting some coffee so I won't be tired all damn night.

Jessica: Ok. Plus, whenever you come see me next time in the crib. Especially, the Locust crew will be taking care of things for better or for worse.

Jeomi: I gotta see. I have to check Todd to see how he's doing.

Jessica: Todd has taken care of a lot of things over a year.

Jeomi: He does.

Jessica: I have to figure out what am I gonna do later this year, I need to do more education while I'm in college.

Jeomi: You're still in college, you need to get the fucking scholarship. Because that's the point.

Jessica: That's why I'm gonna need it.

*Atlantic City - at the beach*

Some of the Core Squad gang heading to the beach including the other few gangs around when Todd sat on the sand and looked at the water in the view. However, Tasha and Jenny play the soccer ball with their friends while Todd is going through with his phone and sees the ball next to him when he looks up at everyone until Jenny comes up and Todd gets up.

Jenny: Hi!

Todd: Hey, what's up? The ball is right next to me.

Jenny: Come and play with us?

Todd: Ehh...my squads are here.

Jenny: I don't mind. Come on! *smiles*

Todd: *follows her and joining with them*

Later that night, everybody was ready to watch the fireworks show on the 4th of July of the night when it started. The rest of the gang is headed back to Philadelphia when they get some rest for tomorrow.

The next day in Philadelphia, Malik drove to Locust Street when he got out of the car while hearing someone talking about Scotty released earlier.

Malik: What is going on, y'all?

Jessica: Thank god, you are here. Let me tell you something.

Malik: What's up?

Jessica: Scotty is getting out. Someone has an illegal activity but not them.

Malik: Scarface made the biggest mistake.

Jessica: So who's next? Huh?

Malik: All of you guys gotta come fucking clean. Next time, when Scarface makes it illegal for a real thing, they can throw their asses back in jail.

Crew: True!

Latika: Malik.

Malik: *turns around* Latika, what are you doing out here?

Latika: I'm with them. That's why I got here.

Malik: Go ahead and make it work.

Latika: *smiles*

Malik: *smiles*

Jessica: You two know each other?

Malik: We met each other at the beginning of the 2000s.

Latika: At the museum. To be honest.

Jessica: I wish you guys could talk to each other for a while.

Malik: It's ok. I gotta get home with my family.

Latika: Drive safely.

Malik: *gets in the car*

Jackie goes to the Miller's house when she sees a few Passion Preme crew standing there on the porch they greet her because they know Clara is hanging out with Jackie with the support of Miller's son's crew, "Core Squad".

Clara: Jackie, you can come in.

Jackie: *went inside*

Clara: You ready?

Jackie: *nods*

*At Jeomi's house*

Jeomi having sex with Caroline on the bed as soon as he goes nuts on her when he's riding on her hard and lets Caroline come out of her mouth when she feels it.

Jeomi: *riding on her while groaning*

Caroline: *breathing heavily and screams quietly* Baby...

Jeomi: How do you like that shit...*keeps moving*

Caroline: *moaning*

Jeomi: *keeps going and stops*

Caroline: *takes a breathe*

Jeomi: *lying down on the bed and grabbing a cigarette*

Caroline: I guess, I'm about to run.

Jeomi: Yeah, get your ass outta here before my parents show up.

Caroline: *grabs her stuff and leaves* Call me.

Alonso and Blank chilling at the Center City as soon as they get the message from Malik and they read it.

Malik: *texts Alonso and Blank* Scotty released.

Alonso and Blank react to the message they couldn't believe when Scotty wants some revenge on the Core Squad crew no time soon.
