Hi guys, sorry for taking a bit longer to update. I have no idea why I'm being so perfectionist with this story, but I am. I wrote, erased and wrote it again so many times, I feel mentally exhausted lol. I'm still not 100% happy with it, but I'll post it before it takes me months to update. If I take a bit longer to update again, u know why: I'll probably be writing and doing it all again until I feel like it's ok for the chapter to be posted.

Oliver opened his eyes slowly, suddenly feeling soreness all over his body, as if a train had run over him but for the first time ever, he didn't care. He was happy. There was a beautiful angel right in front of him, sleeping so peaceful, he felt he could be like this forever with her. He noticed her slowly moving as they cuddled and he approached his lips to her shoulder, giving it soft kisses. He heard her murmuring something and turning a bit to be able to look at him.

- Good morning – He whispered to her

- Good morning – She said, giving him a soft smile that made his heart melt.

Kara caressed his cheek with one hand as he kissed her. They stared lovingly at each other, still smiling.

- Did you sleep well? – Oliver asked, playing with a few strands of her hair.

- The few hours I had of sleep were wonderful. – She teased him

- And whose fault is that? – He teased her back, making her laugh.

- Guilty – She laughed.

Kara fully turned to face him from up close as one of his hands went to her back, softly caressing it.

- I regret nothing – She said, blushing.

- Me neither.

Kara noticed a few bruises on his arms and stared worried at him. The last thing she wanted was to hurt him by accident.

- Did I hurt you that much? Oh Rao...

- Hey, it's ok... I'm ok – He said as he gave her another soft kiss. – I've been tortured and stabbed multiple times, Kara, I told you; I can handle the girl of steel.

- Are you sure?

- 100% - He smiled, kissing her again, a bit more passionate.

Oliver's phone went crazy with notifications and Oliver reached for it on the side table, not really wanting to let go of Kara, but that noise was annoying him.

- Oh... - He said as he read Thea's messages. He started to laugh, shaking his head

- What happened? – Kara stared curious at him

- I guess she knows... About us...

Oliver showed Kara the text, and she started to laugh, covering her face with her both hands.

- Oh, Rao! – She laughed

Kara used her super speed to put a pair of jeans and a light tallow tank top and crossed her arms, playfully.

- Well, I'm decent

- Not fair – Oliver laughed as he grabbed his clothes and put them on, sitting on the bed right after.

- So...What does she know? About us? – She said, sitting by his side.

Kara stared nervously at him. She knew she had all of those feelings inside for a long time and they have been growing each time they got together for a mission or something. There was always some tension between them, and there was so many almost kisses that she was sure she would go crazy anytime soon, until last night, when they finally kissed... And more. And now, she was really nervous about what was going to happen from that moment on.

Oliver took her hands with his, caressing them as he looked deeply into her eyes, his heart racing.

- Remember right after we met?

- Yes. You were unnerved and benched me. – She teased him, making him laugh

- Yes, I was an idiot. I know – He laughed – But, after we talked, and you told me that your Earth could probably use a Green Arrow...

- And I was right – She smiled

- Yes. You were.

- Something changed inside of me that night. I have to tell you this... I didn't bench you because I was unnerved; I did it because... I was smitten... I admit it. – He smiled, taking her by surprise – And I had no idea what to do with this feeling because you caught me by surprise. Is not the fact that you're an alien that makes you different from anyone else I've ever met before, is who you are deep inside.

Oliver thought about it for a while, knowing he got to that conclusion right after she left and went back to her Earth.

FLASHBACK

It felt weird to go back to StarCity after the adventure he had with all other heroes. He got to see his old friends and meet new ones, he got to save the world, experience a crazy shared dream after being kidnapped by aliens, he got to fight by another cute and fun alien, one that became a friend and that he missed already. He was curious and wanted to know more about her after finally admitting why he acted like a jerk before, benching her and being an idiot with her when she was indeed their best chance against the Dominators. The after party with the new president was overwhelming but he managed to have a bit of fun after apologizing to Kara. He felt something funny inside when she mentioned her Earth could use an Oliver Queen.

He got home and went to the bathroom, to take a shower and try to get some rest. He kept wondering how her Earth was like. He wished deep inside they could hang out more, it was a shame she lived so far away, literally. He thought about the gift Cisco gave her, and wondered if there was any way for them to get in touch across the multiverse. He decided he was going to ask Cisco the next day about it. Mainly, because if they needed to reach each other it would be nice to be able to call or message Earth 38 without needing an extrapolator.

The next day, after a lot of work and things to do in the City Hall, before he went to the streets with his team as the Green Arrow, he called Cisco to check if it was possible for their phones to connect with different Earths.

- Maybe this will work – Cisco said over the phone – I just need to try testing some things. I was actually trying something similar to be able to talk to Gypsy...

- Gypsy? – Oliver asked confused

- The girl I'm seeing from Earth 19. You're not the only one interested in multiverse communications, though I have no idea who you're interested in it now... Is hard to keep track

- Cisco!

- Sorry...

- Is not like that. If we need help again, it should be easier for us to contact each other, there's not enough extrapolators for everyone to use.

- Yeah, there isn't... Good idea. I'll do my best here... But, just to let you know, Barry has Kara's number, from when he got stuck on her Earth, so I'll ask him to give it to the Legends and you later. It's a good idea for all of us to be able to contact her and vice versa, you never know when the next invasion will happen... I'll let you know if it works.

- Ok, thank you Cisco. Bye.

Oliver felt optimistic about it all. Deep down he knew Cisco was not entirely wrong, maybe he was interested, but there was no need for anyone to know, at least not now. He needed some time to figure it out first.

A few days passed and Cisco called Oliver to give him a microchip that would do all the work, and they all would be able to talk to each other in an easier way. Oliver stopped by Star Labs after a meeting with SCPD captain.

- I told Legends to stop by, they will come next week. Team Flash already upgraded their phones, here it is. – He said, giving Oliver's phone back to him - You can tell Team Arrow to come next week too, so everyone will have this upgrade.

- Thank you. I'll tell everyone to come later. – Oliver nodded with his head.

Later that night Oliver was at his apartment, recovering from an intense fight he just had with a gang. He grabbed his phone and decided to try Cisco's tech. He texted Kara and waited to see if she would answer. It didn't take long and he smiled, reading her message.

"Oliver? Oliver Queen? From... Earth 1? How?"

"Cisco upgraded our phones. He asked if you could stop by to upgrade yours, and if you want to share it with your team, it will make things easier to help each other." – He answered.

"That's so cool. Sure, I think I can stop by tomorrow. My sister is mad she missed our fight against Dominators, I told her she can come the next time... Let's hope is not an end of the world situation lol"

"Right? I keep telling them, we should get together for the fun times, not just crazy missions"

"Wait... Oliver Queen and fun times in the same sentence? Sounds weird haha"

"Funny ¬¬' "

"I'm just kidding."

"I know it sounds absurd, but I do know how to have fun"

"I'm sure you do."

"I'm serious. Tomorrow, if you have some time off, I'll stop by Star Labs and I can show you.

"Oh, I want to see that lol. Ok. I'll see you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow."

Oliver stared at his phone feeling a mix of emotions inside of him, emotions he wasn't used to. Suddenly, a bit of anxiety took over and he knew why. Kara wasn't someone who got easily impressed, she was full of hope and her heart was so pure, she had this light that could brighten any room, she always saw the best in people, she had crazy experiences he couldn't even imagine and she could literally lift an entire building over her head. He was just a mere human with a dark past, still full of darkness inside of him, traumas so, how could he possibly get someone like Kara to be interested on him? He asked himself that same question over and over again, knowing for sure that yes, he was attracted to her and that he was deeply screwed.

END OF FLASHBACK

- So... Were you trying to impress me? – She smiled

- Well... Maybe.

Kara laughed hearing that. If only he knew he wouldn't need to try it. She looked at him, caressing his face with one hand.

- Oliver, I admit that I was a bit intimidated because even if Barry got everyone together, you were naturally leading everyone... Even when Diggle told you to stand down. You showed leadership and the most important thing in the world: loyalty, when you stood by Barry side. I used to think that it was risky and dangerous for people with no powers to go in the field, but watching you and your team, you showed me that with proper training, yes, it's possible. I was even more impressed to know you trained Barry and how you and Sara started this whole thing and look how big it is now. It's a huge league of superheroes from multiple Earths teaming up to protect the multiverse. And you started it all, so of course you didn't need to try, because you already impressed me. You still are.

Oliver felt really touched by Kara's words. He never stopped to think about how big things became and how far they all went as superheroes. And she was right, it all started with him, but he was glad that it became something bigger than him.

- I feel you were going somewhere with your words – Kara said, their hands still held together, caressing each other's.

- Yes... The thing is – He continued – Since then I knew things were never be the same. And the feeling kept growing every time we got to see each other. It was a complete new situation for me, the way it was happening. The moment we kissed last night, I just couldn't believe it was finally happening. I had the most beautiful woman in my arms, and I finally kissed her and it was better than I ever imagined... So I guess, if you want to... Thea knows we're together. And that you're my girlfriend and I'm your boyfriend.

Kara's hand went to his neck as she brought his lips closer to hers, giving him a fully passionate kiss.

- I can live with that – She teased him, smiling between their kiss – This was the sweetest thing I've ever heard.

- I do love you – He said between their kiss, his hear beating fast inside his chest.

- I love you too – She whispered as their foreheads touched. – And... Thea is here with Brainy and Nia – She laughed – I can hear them.

- Ok, so here we go... Are we telling everyone now?

- If you want to... - Kara said as she looked excitedly at him – I'm ok with that.

- Me too – He gave her another peck on the lips before following her out of the bedroom.

Oliver sat on the couch while Kara opened the door for Thea, Nia and Brainy. Thea had a funny look as they hugged, but she didn't say anything. After everyone greeted each other, they joined Oliver in the living room.

- Where's Clark? – Nia asked, confused

- He went to Metropolis for some stuff but he'll be here soon... - Kara said as she stopped to hear something and smiled – He's here.

She went back to the door, greeting Clark, and closing the door after he got inside. Clark greeted everyone, giving a tight hug on Thea, making everyone stare at them with questioning looks.

- What happened? – Clark asked, not quite sure why everyone was acting weird

- Nothings, just... - Oliver said but Thea interrupted him.

- He slept here – Thea smiled and pointed at Oliver, earning a death stare from her brother.

- What? – Nia covered her mouth in shock and started to laugh – Well, it took you two long enough...

- Nia! – Kara said as she walked across the room and sat beside Oliver.

- What? Is true... - She laughed. – I've been seeing sparks around you two for so long, is a miracle the room never caught on fire before.

- So I'm not the only one who noticed... - Thea teased, earning more death stares from Oliver. She loved to mess with him, just for the fun of it.

- Ok so apparently everyone noticed something but us... - Kara said, laughing

- So what's going on? – Thea asked while trying to hide the huge smile wanting to form on her face because she already knew what was going on, she just wanted them to admit it.

- We are dating – Oliver said as he reached for Kara's hand and turned to look at her, making her smile sweetly back at him. He turned to face everyone – And that's all you need to know, thanks Thea.

Thea jumped excitedly as she hugged Oliver and then Kara, murmuring "I knew it". Nia was the next one to hug them. Clark walked closer to everyone and reached his hand for Oliver to shake.

- I don't need to tell you if you hurt my cousin, you'll get to visit the space – Clark teased, making everyone laugh.

- I know – Oliver laughed along, hugging Clark – The same goes to my sister... - He laughed in a low tone, knowing only Kara would hear him - Yes, I know, you guys are not subtle. I know where to find kryptonite, just saying...

Kara just shook her head, laughing after hearing it all; knowing both her cousin and her boyfriend had at least 10% of seriousness hidden on their jokes.

- I stopped by your place last night because I was worried about Thea... After what happened with the Children of Liberty, I could see she was pretty shaken from falling...

- Thanks for saving her – Oliver said as Clark nodded with his head – Brainy texted us to let us know you guys were ok, he told me.

Kara looked to her side and noticed Nia napping on the couch as Brainy tried to wake her up. Kara went to her side and gently tried to help.

- OH MY GOD! – Nia yelled, waking up in a jump almost scaring Kara and Brainy.

- Is everything ok? – Kara asked, worried

- I had a vision... a scary one, I don't like this... - Nia said, starting to freak out

- What did you see? – Brainy asked, as he sat by her side.

- I think I saw the next house that will be attacked by the Children of Liberty. They have been identifying where the aliens lives, to kidnap them. That's why we came here, to let you all know and to see if we could come up with a plan.

- Do you know where this house you dreamed about is? – Oliver asked – Because I think I have a plan... And maybe you won't like it – He stared at Kara.

He knew Kara pretty well by now to know she would hate his plan. She always believed in the best of people while he had a hard time doing that. He knew she wouldn't like it, but he couldn't think of any other way to stop those guys.

- And what that plan would be? – Kara asked with a worried look on her face.

She knew Oliver had a specific way of dealing with bad guys. They have talked before about it, and she knew he felt like he was deeply buried in darkness from his past, like he could never deserve to be happy because of the things he had to do before, and the way he saw the world now. She refused to believe that, and always told him nothing was completely lost for him. She knew he went to the extreme to bring people to justice and she understood why the last time they teamed up.

- We need to find where they are taking the kidnapped aliens. And we also need to get to the source of this problem... To find out who's the person in charge. I say we take the aliens that will be attacked to safety and surprise them...

- They will think is the aliens, but it will be us... - Nia said

- Not all of us. Me. But I'll need help because we'll kidnap him. And question him.

- You don't need to do this alone... - Clark said – We're here to help.

- I know. I'm not saying I'll do this by myself. I'm saying I'll be at the house when they attack and I'll surprise them. They can be armed with kryptonite again and actually try to kill you, so I need you and Kara far away from there. You and Thea can take the aliens to safety, at the DEO.

- I want to help you – Kara said, crossing her arms – I'm Supergirl, I won't hide from anyone. This can be dangerous, we don't know how many of them will show up.

- Brainy and Nia can back me up, and help me kidnap one of them... I know how much you hate this, but God knows how many kryptonite they will be carrying tonight.

- I won't let you risk your life again to protect me. You already took a kryptonite bullet for me – Kara insisted

- Does anyone want something to eat? – Clark said, feeling the tension in the room, being followed by Nia, Thea and Brainy – We'll bring pizzas – He added and the three of the left.

Kara didn't like the idea of Oliver being the bait like that, she knew those people were dangerous and they wouldn't let anyone stop them. She understood his concerns, but she wouldn't forgive herself if something happened to him.

- I would happily take a bullet for you any day, Kara. And they had a lot the last time. I'm pretty sure Alex would kill me if anything happened to you, because we jumped in the opportunity to help you stop these people and it would be completely irresponsible to go to an unknown territory, with the enemy knowing how to kill you.

- I can handle my sister's wrath.

- You can handle anything – Oliver said as he came a bit closer – That's one of the things I love about you, believe me. Nia, Brainy and I can't be affected by kryptonite, we'll have leverage on them.

- I'll monitor everything from up close and at the first sight of danger, I will storm in and help no matter what. – Kara crossed her arms- I won't risk it, too many things can go wrong and I won't just stay here worrying. I've dealt with this kind of threat before, I couldn't just not show up for people, even if it meant I could get hurt. But I appreciate your concern and care for me – She gave him a soft smile – So, that's what I can compromise with.

- You amaze me – Oliver smiled back – And that's ok for me.

- There will always be some danger around the corner, but if I stand down or hide, what kind of message I'm giving people? That's why I can't just stay here... So I'll come along and fly nearby, I'll keep an eye on things, make sure Thea and Clark get the aliens to safety and will make sure you stay safe there. You go, do your thing... Maybe I can help you kidnapping one of them – She laughed – I just will leave the questioning to you. I trust you.

Oliver smiled as he heard her. He couldn't be more proud and he couldn't stop feeling like an idiot for suggesting Kara would seat this one out. He knew better than that, he was aware of it. He just wanted to make sure she wouldn't get deeply hurt.

- I guess when I saw you the last time we teamed up, when you got hurt, that caught me off guard. I know in your Earth you're not invincible, but on my Earth you are. I got used to it and when I saw you almost dying that day, it really scared me. – Oliver said – When I took that bullet for you last night, I felt like I needed to do something so you wouldn't go through all of that again. It was better for me to take it, than you.

Kara's eyes filled with tears. She knew the feeling of worrying about the people she loved and it was terrifying to know something awful could happen. She got used to the feeling of handling anything, being able to do extraordinary thing that she forgot what it was for her loved ones to see her in real danger. She had lost count of how many times Alex got this scared, her mom, her friends... She stopped for a second to put herself on Oliver shoes and understood where he was coming from.

- Last year I faced one enemy from my planet. Reign. She almost killed me on Christmas, I got in a sort of coma for a while. My sister thought she had lost me and I will never forget the look on her face when I woke up. Sometimes I forget that I'm not the only one worrying about people's safety, and that the things I face sometimes can only be faced by me, and it will make people worry and lose sleep. I trust you will be able to do it, your way, and I'll be right behind you in case you need me.

- And I trust you can handle anything, please know this. I will never ever doubt that. I think the trauma makes me want to jump to avoid the people I love getting hurt.

- Well, that makes two of us. We make a great team – Kara teased, making him smile.

- We sure do. – He said, giving her a soft kiss

Meanwhile, Nia and Brainy took Clark and Thea to their favorite pizza place, knowing they would get a discount for buying a dozen of boxes. Thea and Clark talked near the door as Nia and Brainy ordered everything.

- I hope they are not fighting or something... - Thea said – My brother can be stubborn sometimes...

- He's just worried about Kara after last night. I understand him.

- You have the same weakness... It must be hard to fight crime and protect your city knowing something from your home planet can kill you.

- It's never easy for anyone. But we keep fighting because is the right thing to do. I think that's something Kara tried to make Oliver see, that even if a situation can be dangerous for her, she will still get up and fight. I do the same thing. We risk ourselves every day doing what we do, our world need us. All of us. I can tell you have been through a lot and understand what I'm talking about...

- I'm that obvious?

- Not obvious... You have the look of someone who has seen and gone through a lot...

- Is true. – Thea looked defeated at him.

- And... How do you find strength to get up every day and still help your brother protect your city?

- I wasn't that strong because I stopped... I couldn't deal with the violence and darkness anymore...

- You are here, aren't you?

- Yes...

- You were ready to help and you came here and you are helping, so I guess you are that strong. Not everyone would be able to do what you did, cross the universe to help someone... That's where your strength is.

Thea smiled as she heard his words. She felt touched by them, because she never thought about things the way he used to see and it made sense.

- Maybe you're right – she said. – Do you think they know something? I mean... about us.

- Oliver sure do – Clark laughed – But is ok.

- I'm almost afraid of asking – Thea laughed – But seriously... I had a great time last night.

- Me too. We should do it again, I have great movie recommendations – He teased, making her laugh.

- I'd love to. I do owe you a long story by the way...

Clark noticed the look into Thea's eyes, almost as if she was unsure if she wanted to really share that much about her.

- If you don't feel like it, is ok, I totally understand. Sometimes is hard for us to open up about things that have hurt us in the past...

- No, is ok. I want to... Is just that... I just worry you might see me differently...

- I would never see you differently, Thea. – He reached for her hand, caressing it. – We can also talk about... us.

- I really want to talk about us – She said, squeezing his hands and letting it go while Nia and Brainy approached them.

Clark and Thea helped Brainy and Nia carry the boxes as they left the place, going back to Kara's loft.

- I really hope they found some common ground because I'm starving, otherwise they will argue with us eating pizza on the kitchen, I don't care – Brainy said, making Nia, Thea and Clark laugh.

- I'm sure they're just fine – Clark said

- We do need to hurry by the way. I couldn't tell the time my vision happened, but I have a feeling it will happen soon. – Nia said as she felt worry taking over her.

The four of them rushed back to Kara's place and were happy enough to find the tension gone so they could all eat and prepare to put their plan in action.
