Naruto eyed Sasuke with an off look. Meare stood behind him and giggled. She had her arms around him, but only Naruto could see, and know she was there.

But it wasn't him who saw her. He couldn't help it...because it was Shima. Shima constantly saw her and knew she couldn't hurt anyone, but now that she had a host Meare could have the power to affect the host. Because her soul was half embedded into her.

"What?" Sasuke raised a brow.

"I'm leaving." Naruto growled.

"No! You aren't we have a mission!" Sasuke growled.

Meare raised her eyebrows. "This one is such an ass." She hissed.

She went into Naruto and possessed him, but she didn't use Naruto in any way that was bad. Except for to talk back to this raven head.

"Listen pal!" Naruto hissed." Ninja are supposed to keep peace and I don't want to kill because I have to help you out. And last time I checked...you stabbed me with your sword. So...I'm leaving you to killing these people." He smirked. "And~. I'm going to show you I'm worth something!"

Naruto grew unpossessed but he remained with a smirk face. He was surprised after her trying to kill him, she would help him. He was confused by her motives. But then realized she was only a 15 year old. Naruto went to leave and Sasuke grabbed his arm harshly.

"Those who abandon their missions are scum." Sasuke growled.

"Those who take down every last ninja without mercy, without asking then why...and killing them without considering what they saw as right, are worse then scum. They are monsters. And I'm no monster." Naruto mumbled. "I consider myself more then a weapon. I'm not a took you filthy Uchiha! I'm a fair man. A war hero... A king. And I won't dirty my hands just to take down a village.

I'm not a kid anymore...I suggest you grow up as well"

Naruto left with that, leaving Sasuke in a bit of surprise. He watched him leave with wide eyes. He swore, Naruto could speak and sway anybody. It was like he had an unnatural power of persuasion. Sasuke froze and looked at the village and their method through Naruto's eyes.

And as much as he wouldn't like to admit.

Naruto was right.

Flames filled the skies. This glow of red and orange could be seen for miles and miles in end. The village screamed in the sounds of cackling flame and burning rogue ninja. Naruto ran through forest. And he looked determined. He growled as he ran. He wanted to save Tsunade. But he feared the worst. Because of the dely he made. He could only imagine what he needed that time for.

Naruto looked down as he ran. He shook and held his arm.

"I just abandoned my team...and went against a Kage's orders...what's wrong with me..?" Naruto asked himself weakly.

"Your being you. There is nothing wrong with it..." A voice spoke.

Naruto went wide eyed and his head turned to his side to see himself grab his own arm. He blinked and himself was gone? He held his head weakly.

"Naruto. There is nothing there, what's wrong?" Kurama asked.

"Nothing." Naruto mumbled.

Naruto went to move again but his body stopped itself. He looked back at the flow of the flames of the village, rising in the night sky. He frowned and looked away. He bit his lip and kept moving, even though he felt like he just betrayed everyone for his own selfishness.

He moved between trees very quickly. He swayed to balance his weight Everytime he needed to. He then told his consious to stop telling him to turn back and acted on what he wanted...more then what was needed, what was actually right.

The lands changed from forest to swamp after about an hour. He had gotten over his bad feelings and was only driven by the goal to save Tsunade. The Hokage he grew up with. His therapist. His friend. She meant a lot to him. He didn't want her to die. She didn't do anything to deserve it.

Naruto felt a few rain drops. He new he was close. He found the border, a sudden stop of life. All wet Rockland's and water masses. He passed the border and into the lands he hadn't ever been in. He was on his own. He felt his head begin to throb however. He just didn't feel right this night. As if something had happened.

He ran into Meare but it was a delay...earlier he got stabbed by Sasuke. He got lectured by Kurama. He promised Shima something. He fought using everyone he had. He murdered many...and helped bring down a village. He abandoned his post, and now he was by hismelf. In a land he hasn't been. Going on instinct to where he thought was the hidden rain.

Naruto eventually made it to a lake. He looked at it and it continued in, surrounded by fog. Past that was rainy weather. He looked at it and frowned.

"I hate rain..." He mumbled. "And water"

He walked across the water. To be honest he was surprised that he wasn't being attacked. He moved into the fog and kept walking until he felt a hand on his shoulder. Naruto gasped and whipped around, taking a Kunai in hand at the same time and his blade clashed with another.

"Jesus! Naruto it's just me!" Sakura spoke.

"SAKURA!? THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE!? SASUKE WOULD KILL ME... AND THEN RESSURECT ME ONLY TO KILL ME AGAIN IF HE FINDS YOU GONE!" Naruto whisper yelled.

"I couldn't just leave you to do everything by yourself! And besides... I didn't want to be apart of that any longer. It was hard to watch and be causing so much death and destruction." Sakura looked away.

"You...are PREGNANT!" He whisper yelled. "This is to damn dangerous with just me here. You here makes me have to worry about someone else! You will only drag me down and be a weight." Naruto spoke angrily.

"I-i...I'm sorry." She looked away.

Naruto looked at her and notice blood on her fists, still having gloves on them. He frowned and sighed loudly. He grabbed her hands and slid her gloves off and threw them in the water.

"I'm not mad Sakura. I'm just worried for your safety. But I do understand. It was a bit much." Naruto pulled her into a hug. "I'm sorry for being rude."

"Y-yoyr fine." She hugged back. "Don't leave suddenly again though, it scared me."

"Heh, no promises." He chuckled weakly. 

They two separated their hug. Naruto walked out of the fog to see the tall towered village of the rain. He then dove into the water and began to swim. Sakura followed his example and moved ahead of him sense her vision wasn't fucked up like his was. She guided him through areas, holding her breath for a long time. They were both good swimmers and could go without air for a while. Because she could heal herself...and he had two tailed beasts who could breathe air into his lungs.

Soon they swam up for air, and were in a dock like area. Boats were in the water, tied to wooden posts and held in place. Parked for others to use later. The two Jonin panted as they caught their breath. Naruto swam to one of the docks and climbed up and then dove for a hiding place, Sakura did the same. She opened her back and pulled our two cloaks.

"Here, to hide your face." She handed him one.

"Thanks Sakura. I can always count on you." He smiled.

The two, now cloaked and disguised walked into plain sight and walked through the town. And it was bad! Enhanced people everywhere. Citizens as well but they seemed a bit bored, and their faces had stress and worry due to the ehnaced people. There were ninja and rogue ninja everywhere as well. This was an army in waiting. Naruto never knew Kabuto had this many people following him. Naruto had Sakura's arm intertwined with his own. He didn't want to take chances of her being swooped up by a ninja or enhanced person.

"Hey, you two don't seem familair." A ninja walked up to them. "Show yourself.

National tensed. "Sir. I'm deeply sorry for your concern. But we cannot. We don't feel like we deserve to look at the face of one who fights for us. We are deeply humble towards you." Naruto bowed and made Sakura bow, all without revealing their face.

"Why thank you! Your a nice villager!" The person patted their backs and walked off.

"That was too close." Sakura mumbled as they stood up and moved on.

"Tell me about it." Naruto exhaled.

Naruto and Sakura moved towards the center of the village. The most activity was on the outskirts where ninja patrolled perimeters. The center was where enhanced ninja dominated the population and guards. It was getting harder to sneak in.

"Hello there. I'm sorry but you are a civilian who I'd unidentified. I must imolore you to turn around. You are nearing restricted areas." A voice spoke.

"To hell with this " Naruto growled.

Sakura nodded and in one hit, the enhanced human was sent into five others...killing them. Naruto grabbed her arm and shunshinned them away from flying blades, and into the main tower. They looked around the dark place only to find it surprisingly empty. Sakura looked around, tense and alert. Naruto was confused and didn't drop his guard. He wasn't taking that risk.

"Well well well. Finally you have arrived. Welcome to my home Naruto Uzumake and Sakura Haruno." Kabuto came into view.

The room they were in was huge! Like an entire autitorium, but with nothing inside. Just a bland huge room big enough to house about three fully sized modern homes. Naruto looked around and only saw one light...shining on the wall...with someone chained up. He walked towards them with caution, making sure no traps were around him. And non were. Sakura moved at a slow pace like he did, following closely by his side. Naruto went wide eyed once she came into view...

The person was Tsunade.

"TSUNADE!" Naruto yelled.

He dashed to her and slid to a stop, on his knees. Sakura ran after him and then once she arrived she gasped and tears filled her eyes as she screamed in heartbreak. She collapsed and shook, crying loudly. Naruto was in shock...she was in a pool of her own blood.

With no heart beat.

"N-no...NO NO NO!" Naruto shook. "T-tsunade.." he reached a hand out.

His fingers gently touched her aged skin. He flintched at the coldness of her skin. It felt like he was touching ice. They glided up her face and his fingers ran through her hair.

"H-hey, i-i camw for you. It's okay your safe now." He mumbles.

The chains opened and her hands fell limp at her sides. Naruto brought her corspe into a hug and rubbed her back.

"Please wake up now. I'm here. I-i..." He felt a lump form in his throat and his lower lip began to quiver. "we all came to save you. S-sakura...s-she is pregnant! I-isnt t-that nice? Y-your a g-godmo-ther." He choked out. "I-i have a new tailed b-beast. W-we came here...f-for y-you." He felt hot tears quickly stream down his face. "Tsunade?" He pulled away and raised her head by her chin. "..." He clentched his teeth together and his eyes shut.

Her body was rested against the wall and he rested his head on her shoulder, looking down as his tears fell on her lap. He shook violently and began to cry out loud. He hugged onto her corpse, waiting for her to hug back...

But it never came.

She was gone.

"Oh my. Looks like you came a little too late." Kabuto walked into view. "Looks like you failed her. She was begging for you to come in her sleep. She had hopes that you would catch her and stop me. She cried in pain every night. She begged me not to harm you. Or Sakura or Sasuke. Then I broke her~. She felt like you left her to die." Kabuto snickered.

Naruto felt so much pain. He cried louder and he felt his mind shatter as good memories of her and him filled his head. He cried loudly and yelled as he did so. Sakura was in the same state, she yelled and ran at Kabuto, only to have a Genjutsu thrown at her. She froze and her body didn't move.

"And now...you failed Sakura too." He mumbled.

He sliced his hand through the air and hit her nerve...and watched her fall limp onto the ground. Snake's slowly slithered over her and they held her down and began to suck on her chakra, feeding off of it and funneling it into Kabuto. He snickered and was standing over Naruto.

"Face it. Your the cause of all their suffering. Your too weak to save them, you constantly let them down. Because they expect too much. In reality.... You are nothingbut a pawn, a weapon. You are a waste of space." Kabuto had a sadistic smirk plastered on his face, his Sharingan glowing red.

Naruto cried more and he held his hand to his chest and gripped his shirt. His breathing began uneaven and he began to hyperventilate as he cried.

"Want to here a funny story?" Kabuto chuckled. "I know about you wanting a kid. How Hinata volentered. I thought it was too cute. So I controlled her with my eyes and made her seem madly in love with you~. I made you and Kakashi fight. Because I hightened your anger levels without you realizing it. And thanks to that, I feel Kakashi has a big doubt about you and him working out in the long run!" Kabuto laughed.

Naruto's eyes shot open. He felt himself weaken because he wasn't getting enough air, he grew lightheaded and he heard a loud ring in his ear.

"I influenced your mom to nearly kill you. Again. And made her end up in a mental hospital~. I let you get into this village. I let you destroy the sound. Because I knew, you would come here alone...or at least with a tag along after you turned away from the screaming!" He bent down and looked at the crying man.

"I-if your going to kill me...kill me..." Naruto mumbled.

"Oh no...I'm not going to kill you. That would be mercy." Kabuto chuckled and got closer and whispered in his hear, "I'm going to do something worse~. And by the time your friends come here...I'll have the most powerful man alive, as my puppet!"

The last thing Nsruto remembered before going dark...was that dream again...

Of Kakashi dying, right in front of him and his son, by Kabuto's hand...or so he thought...

Instead of Kabuto killing Kakashi....

It was himself.
