Naruto woke with a groggy moan. He opened his eyes and they immidiatly retreated under his lids at the harsh bright light that greeted them. He slowly opened them and narrowed his eyes at the hissing brightness. He groaned in pain as his body felt so sore he didn't dare move.

"Naruto?" Kakashi's voice spoke clearly.

"...w-wait..." Naruto went wide eyed, realising...

He could see.

His blue eyes had returned to their normal color, their former glory. Naruto was in a state of shock.

"I know." Kakashi smiled weakly. "The doctor's gave you an eye transplant, the newest transplant surgery proven to work. I had ordered them to right after you healed from physical injuries and once you stabilized."

"Kakashi I," Naruto looked at him, unable to put how thankful he was in words.

Kakashi leaned down and kissed Naruto softly on the lips. Naruto closed his eyes and melted into it, not moving still, wanting to stay as painless as he could remain at this point. Naruto wanted this kiss to last forever but soon his lungs cried out for air and so did Kakashi's. His husband pulled away and smiled softly.

"How are you feeling?" Kakashi asked.

"Like someone threw a tree in my gut, then buried me in boulders." Naruto mumbled.

"I'll have them up your dose on the pain medication then." He sighed, standing.

"Wait!" Naruto gasped out.

"What is It?" Kakashi asked, turning to face him.

"M-my" he looked away from his gaze with a depressed look on his face. "my parents." He mumbled.

"Their funeral was three weeks ago." Kakashi looked at him with a very upset look.

"Three weeks!?" His eyes widened." I was out for three weeks!?"

"Four and a half actually. It took a little while to prepare their bodies, sense they were in a horrible state." Kakashi shuddered." And the village area you destroyed needed to be cleaned and all the dead bodies identified. Naruto you killed so many people, yet nobody blames you. They were furious when they found out the enemy killed Minato, a previous Hokage. Actually, everyone thanks you for avenging him and Kushina. They said it was worth the sacrifices." Kakashi explained.

"..." Naruto laid there. "Consiquences indeed." He mumbled.

"What did you say?" Kakashi asked in comfusion.

"N-nothing darling, just talking to myself." Naruto smiled weakly.

Kakashi walked towards the door and opened it and he paused. He turned back and smiled weakly. "I'm having to go to work now. I was just stopping by on my break. I'm so glad you finally woke up from your coma." He hummed and walked out, shutting the door gently.

Naruto's smile instantly dropped and he turned his head to face the wall, to hide from anyone looking through the window of the door, that he was crying. He was in pain, his parents were dead, and he was our of it for a little over month.

"Jesus, over a month that's a long time." He mumbled.

"Naruto?" A female voice spoke.

Naruto winced and growled in pain as he moved his arm to his face to wipe his tears. He turned his face and looked at Sakura. His nerves relaxed and he sighed.

"Hey Sakura." Naruto's voice cracked.

"Naruto I'm sorry about your loss." She spoke.

"Yeah." He mumbled.

"Im going to switch your medication to a higher and faster working pain killer." Sakura walked over.

"That would be helpful." Naruto spoke.

Sakura changed iv bags and she hooked everything up. She looked at Naruto and checked his vitals and pupils, heart beat, blood sugar and everything, a normal check up. Naruto remained silent as she did so, his mind elsewhere. He really looked miserable lying there and she felt bad for him. Sakura walked out and left Naruto be after she was done.

Sakura walked down the hallway, smiling faintly until she heard someone call her name. She walked over to a nurse who looked, in a sense, horrified. She was holding a phone, shaking, looking at her.

"I--its for You, Mrs. Haruno." The nurse spoke with fear.

"What's wrong?" Sakura asked as she took up the phone, placing it by her ear, holding toncord connected to the phone on the desk. "Hello? Who is this?" Sakura asked.

Sakura kept her ear to the phone as she listened to the person in the other end speak. Her eyes suddenly widened and she shook majorly, tears welling up in her eyes.

"N-no...t-there is no w-way." Sakura felt the tears stream down her face.

The nurse looked away from Sakura, crying. She held a hand over her mouth as she silently wept. Sakura heard the line end up and she dropped the phone and fell to her knees, and broke down into a sob.

"NO!" She cried loudly. "I CAN'T TAKE MUCH MORE OF THIS! I ALREADY LOST TSUNADE!" Sakura screamed loudly.

Everyone seemed concerned and ran to her comfort, asking what had happened and the only information they got from the nurse and Sakura was...nothing, but they couldn't believe this. That's all they heard. They tried to control Sakura's mental state with soothing words, but with no avail, she was to sorrowful to be cheered up at this point. Her heart was too broken.

As of the timing couldn't be any better the sky's began to cry, freezing rain hitting the earth with a bad vibes of sadness and depression. Naruto looked up at the window and watched the rain fall. He felt like something bad happened. But what could he handle after everything. Tsunade is dead, and his parents were brutally murdered. What else could happen to crush him? Hopefully it meant nothing, but at this point Naruto knew by gut that something awful has occurred without him knowing, and he feared when he would find out.

"Should I inform Naruto?" The nurse asked.

"NO! HE WILL LOSE IT! NARUTO JAS SUFFERED ENOUGH! HE DOESN'T NEED MUCH MORE TO CRACK!" Sakura stood and looked seriously at her. "You will keep your silence...or I will make it to where you never utter a word again!" Sakura threatened.

The nurse went stiff still, knowing that glare anywhere. She was like a younger version of Tsunade. The nurse backed down and silently nodded. Sakura looked around her, fixed her hair and walked down the hall.

"I'll be overseeing Naruto. I'm going to grab him food from downstairs. You, leave him alone. Let him rest." Sakura walked to the elevator and pressed down, giving everyone a cold starebas the doors closed.

Naruto looked at the wall blankly, a thought had crossed his mind and he closed his eyes and entered Shima's seal. He looked at her only to find her asleep, tired. Naruto walked into Kurama's and he too was too tired to be woken. He glanced at Kaguya to see her asleep, on the floor as well. He walked over slowly and then very slowly, he dragged her towards Kurama's paw and gently laid her on it softly, so she would be comfortable and warm. He left his seal and he winced as he moved his arms and pulled the covers over his cold body. He sighed deeply and shut his eyes, that felt like they could weigh a hundred pounds, and fell asleep.
