The Petals That Blow Away
The day went by slowly. Kakashi worked on his stacking towers of paper but his mind was elsewhere. On his team. He looked down at the paper he was signing and his pen froze. he hesitated and looked at the window and only then noticed the scroll there. He stood from his chair and opened the window. He grabbed the our of place object and shut the pane of glass.
He moved to his chair and took a seat. He opened the scroll and opened it, revealing it's contents. His eyes skimmed over the words and he looked troubled.
"Damn it... Sasuke got hurt too." He mumbled quietly. "Why is it just team seven?" He went into thought.
His eyes looked over to Naruto, who was deeply enveloped in work. He was reading an entire book on advanced math. His eyes had a dim red in them, clearly irritated with the subject he was reading on. Kakashi decided to wait before telling him this. He didn't want his fiance to worry.
Naruto finished all his work and stood, gathering it up and holding it all, hands filled with papers and scrolls. He looked at Kakashi with pleading and glistening eyes, begging silently for him to release him from the confines of the room. And of course his pleas were answered. Silently. (Lol) Kakashi stood from his chair and walked to the door and opened it for him, a slightly glum look plastered on his perfectly angled face.
"Thanks Kakashi." Naruto gave a quick thanks before walking out, work in hand.
Naruto hummed as he walked down the large hallway. His eyes looked around the all too familiar place. He scanned door numbers, windows, people, hooded figure with red eyes, some animals, other ninja, flower pots, fami- wait a minute.
Naruto froze dead in his tracks. He backtracked his steps, eyed wide and sweat rolling down the skin on his face. He reached the branching hallway and looked down and saw red eyes...burning, fiery red eyes. The same ones he saw in the photo. The same ones he saw in his dream.
The figure darted forwards without warning. Naruto gasped, because it was right on him the moment he blinked. The figure there a punch...
And vanished.
Naruto tripped backwards and fell over, hitting his head on the wall so hard it began to bleed. Naruto shook and gripped his shirt where his heart was. He shook and panted heavily. His wide red eyes shook as well. Following the pace of his trembling body. Naruto felt his heart beat painfully fast. He felt so terrified. His life had just flashed before his eyes.
"H-h-oly shit." He stammered.
He held a hand on to his face and he looked at the floor and his breathing slowly started to slowly as did his heart rate, and the trembling until they all calmed all together. His eyes returned to normal.
"It wasn't real. You're letting stress get the better of you. Calm down." Naruto spoke softly to himself.
"You alright?" A voice spoke next to Naruto.
Naruto looked up and his blue eyes softened at the sight of Jirayah. He gazed at the worried features and his nerves completely calmed down.
"Yeah. I just fell over and his my head. " Naruto held his head, it already healed thanks to Kurama.
"You look pale. Like you have seen a ghost!" Jirayah bent down and looked at his student closer.
"It's nothing. I'm just stressed out from homework." Naruto chuckled weakly and forced a smile on his lips.
"Let me help." He spoke and began to pick up the papers.
After all was handed back to Naruto they said their goodbyes and went on their way. Jirayah just coming from a mission and Naruto turning in work. Naruto turned in everything while Jirayah reported in with Kakashi on his mission....and then learned of what had happened to Sasuke Sakura and Naruto. This only stressed the old man out.

Sakura was just eating some dinner at her favorite restaurant. She also had something sweet. Her having quite the sweet tooth for things. She hummed happily as she took the last bite of a peice of pie and huffed outwardly with a smile. She payed her bill and stood gently and headed out the door.
The sun began to set gently in the sky, slowly growing tired, wanting to sleep under the horizon so it can let the moon arise like the night owl it was. She looked at the orange and yellow and dark colors in the sky and it was beautiful to her. Her emerald green eyes sparkled with wonder as to how the sky even came to be. Her pink hair gently danced in the wind as she walked forwards, towards her home. The female was held up by a villager talking to her about her own kids looking up to her.
About two hours had past and Sakura said her goodbyes to the kind lady. The sky was dark and lit by a bright half moon and sparkling stars. Most people were asleep and the street lights shined down but left alley ways utterly forever going in a void of darkness.
Sakura walked down a road that no one was in. Most already asleep. She looked at the empty road and frowned. She felt like she was being watched and this left a huge shiver running down her spine. Her skin crawled and her stomach churned in an uneasy way.
She past by a very dark alley and she glanced at it and froze. She saw
Two.
Red.
Eyes.
They burned like flames and shined as bright as a demon's. They peirced through her emerald eyes and straight into her soul. Her frightened green eyes stared into the red, merciless and hostile one's and her body was frozen. Unable to move.
The enemy seized this opportunity to full fill their mission.
To capture team seven.
Starting with her.
Two hands, shooting straight from the ground gripped onto her ankles tightly. This snapped Sakura out of her fearful trance. She growled and threw punch at them. But it didn't work. It sucked the immense power from her punch and the arms pulled themselves from the ground. The enemy had laid the perfect trap. Unseen and undetected. The arms yanked back in a violent and sudden motion, causing Sakura's body to slam into the ground after a sharp gasp.
Her scream echoed through the village and she clawed at the ground as she was dragged into the darkness like a doll. And just like that...
She was gone.
