Lucy drummed her fingers nervously. She watched out the window, cordial ready in hand, her horse already saddled in the stable.

A gryphon flew up quickly.

"Queen Lucy they need your cordial."

"Who is-"

The gryphon looked around and leaned closed, with his voice barely audible.

"King Edmund."

Face grim, she half-ran to the stable.

"Do you need help?" Lucy looked up Elora was already on a horse. Lucy smiled.

"Sure! They always need more help to deal with more minor injuries." Lucy said brightly, trying to not tell Elora that it was Edmund who needed the cordial.

They both went off. After a few minutes they had to slow down to cross a river.

"It's Edmund... isn't it?" Elora questioned. Lucy's head shot up.

"How did you know?!"

"I just do, I guess."

"Oh."

Before either of them could say anything else they could go faster again so they did. Elora was actually doing quite well with the news.

Peter panicked as Edmund's breath hitched again.

"Nononono, Edmund you have to fight, don't fall asleep again, if you do you won't see Elora or the kids for a while." Peter said. Edmund blinked at his brother wearily.

"We should have asked her to come with Lucy." He said weakly. Peter gripped his hand.

"Lucy is coming with her cordial."

"I know. But I don't-"

"Shut up! Stop being so pessimistic! How the heck does Elora put up with your horrible pessimism?" Peter growled. Edmund blinked, slowly this time.

"She doesn't. Last time I got slapped, the little imp gave me a bloody nose, by accident, then she made cookies, with lots of chocolate in them." He licked his lips and smiled slightly at the memory.

Peter rolled his eyes.

"Riiiight. So your wife gets mad at you then makes you cookies?" Peter asked, Edmund sighed contentedly.

"Yes. Pretty much."

Peter rolled his eyes.

Edmund smirked.

"Jealous??" He asked, Peter shook his head.

Edmund's eyes began to flutter shut again.

"No, Edmund Pevensie. Stay awake." Peter said.

"Peter!" Peter looked up as Lucy jumped off her horse, cordial in hand. She rushed up to them. She unscrewed the lid and calmly put a drop on his head injury. After a few moments Peter's eyes began to fill with tears.

"Any other injuries?" Lucy asked.

"No... I don't think.... Nevermind, yes." He pointed to the nasty cut above his brother's knee.

Lucy put a drop on it.

Edmund's breathing stopped altogether. Lucy had a horrified look on her face.

Elora, who was watching from a distance slowly walked forward. She sat one the ground beside them. Lucy hugged her tightly.

"I'm sorry." Lucy said, obviously shaken up.

Peter shook his head and turned away. Elora stroked Edmund's cheek gently.

The camp was silent.

Elora finally stood up. She smiled slightly through her tears and walked to the Telemarine's side of camp.

"Elora what are you doing?" Lucy asked. Elora sniffed.

"They probably aren't prepared for so many deaths." She said quietly, she walked on. Lucy followed.

"I want to help!" She exclaimed, Elora shrugged.

"Alright."

The two walked to the Telemarine camp, Elora swung open the main tent, several men were there, nursing minor wounds.

The king of Telmar arose, shock filling his facial expression.

"Queen Elora, Queen Lucy. What are you doing here?" He asked. Elora sighed and straightened her shoulders.

"May we help your healers and doctors?" She asked. His eyes darkened.

"Why?"

Elora didn't really know why. She just wanted to for some reason.

"The Narnian side already has more than enough healers, but I noticed your side is fairly understaffed." She said. He nodded slowly.

"I guess." He said, confused.

She smiled slightly and after he shows them where his injured men were the two Narnian queens got to word, cleaning wounds, two men needed cordial. Elora worked until more Telemarine doctors came, then she and Lucy waved them goodbye and left.

Edmund opened his eyes, wherever he was, it was bright. After his eyes adjusted to the light he stood up.

"Son of Adam," A voice said, Edmund smiled at it.

"Aslan." He bowed, Aslan chuckled and blew on him.

"Ask away with your questions." Aslan said, a smile in his voice. Edmund took a deep breath.

"Am I dead?" He questioned nervously.

"Yes."

"Oh. Is there a way I can go back?" He asked, Aslan smiled.

"Are you sure with all your mind you want to go back?" Aslan asked, Edmund nodded.

"Yes, I do."

"Alright. As you wish. One of the reasons you get to go back is Elora's kind heart." Aslan blew on Edmund. Edmund awoke, he stood and walked into a nearby Narnian tent. He cleared his throat.

Peter looked up and his eyes bugged nearly out of his head.

"E-Edmund?" He whispered. Edmund smirked.

"I'm here!" Edmund bowed teasingly. Before he realized what was happen I he was crushed in a hug.

"Ow. Ow. Breathing room. Ow." Edmund mumbled. Peter let go.

"Elora will be so happy! She..." Peter trails off seeing Elora coming back from the Telemarine camp.

Edmund ran to meet her, with one fluent movement he picked her up and kissed her cheek.

"Edmund!" Elora squealed, hugging him tightly. Edmund grinned.

"Eddie!" Lucy laughed and hugged her brother. Edmund laughed.

"Lu, breathing is usually needed for survival."

"Oh, right!" Lucy let him go.

Elora let go.

"What were you doing over there?" Edmund asked motioned to the Telemarine's camp, Elora smiled.

"I was helping with their wounded." She answered, Aslan's voice replayed in Edmund's mind.

"One of the reasons you get to go back is Elora's kind heart."

Edmund smiled, he would tell her that a different time.
