Along this journey of life

To take some time to know me

Nor being judged in turn

I'm not interested in what I can get from you

Nor having all taken from me

I would like for us to feel that we can simply just be

What do you love? What moves you so?

How do you see the world?

As we share our dreams, we'll listen

For no other reason than to enjoy listening to one another share

We'll laugh, cry, encourage, love, and simply show we care

I won't run when things get tough

You won't be missing in action

Interested, invested, committed, and faithful

We'll build a firm foundation

Always helping one another rise to the occasion
