The simmering red of the sun peeks over the mountain

I look across the water and then back at you

I wonder if you knew

The soft sigh of the moon falls down from the dark

I look at the stars and then into your eyes

In them I see no lies

The bright yellow rays of the sun shine down from the sky

I look at the roses and then turn to see you smile

I am no longer in denial

The moon is dimmed by an eclipse only to shine brighter than before

I look for Orion, but it is not there

However, I found something and someone much more fair

The light glow of the sun rises in the east

I rush to read the pages of your heart

What better way a day to start

The moon rises in one sky and begins to set in another

I listen to you laugh and share your day

Now there is only one thing I can say
