The sunlight gleamed in past through  the window curtains....

  Suman shrunk her eyes and rubbed them to see the bright sun....

God...!! Let today be the best day in my life...I have to help shravan to come out of this case...

She prayed and got up from the bed... completing the morning chores shortly, she rode to the hospital....

In front office Nadia was preparing the morning medicine trolly for the patients...

   " Good morning Miss. Suman"

She smiled....

Suman smiles back and headed to Shravan's room...

The room was locked....

According to the rules, the room shouldn't be locked.... Nadia is at nurse's station...then, who's inside?

Suman's nerves alarmed her...she ran and knocked the door...

" Who's there?  Open it...open the door"

She shouted and continued to knock the door...

As there was no reply, she began to bang on the door with her shoulders... listening to her shout, the securities reached the point and they started to bang on the door heavily.... Soon, the latches loosened up and the door opened swiftly...

The scene inside the room was freezing....

  Someone had cut down the artificial ventilator and shravan was gasping for breath.... Blood was trickling from his head injury as the body pressure shot up.... Momentarily , Shravan's body shook rhythmically....

A masked figure pranced outside through the window...

  " No..... Shravan...."

Suman shouted his name and ran to him...

She pressed the bleeding wound and shouted again....

" Nadia.....!"

Nadia rolled the emergency trolly and  fixed the inflated baloon device to restore Shravan's breath...

" Don't worry Suman...we can handle this"

She consoled and  injected the medicine into Shravan's veins.....

   While giving injection, Shravan' s ECG went flat suddenly... His gasp paused momentarily....he looked motionless....

Nadia looked Suman pitifully...

" Sorry... he's no more"  she said impassive...

  " Shravan....."

Suman shouted from her soul......

" Shravan...."

She shouted again....and sat up baffled....she gulped to wet her parched throat... Wiping the sweat beads , she looked around ....

She was in her bed at her home... The morning had not yet begin... It was still dark ...just began to dawn...

I was dreaming!!!

She let out a deep breath in relief....

  How could I even sleep here when shravan is at trouble....

She shook her fatigue and went to bath...after all, the warm shower was soothing to her body and mind...

At fast forward mode, she descended down to the kitchen...

Priya looked in disbelief at   Suman....

" Beta...where are you going? it's too early"

While she was questioning , Neeraj came beside Suman....

" Priya....we are on a case... don't expect us for breakfast ....take rest...I will call you when I get time"

He corrected his wrist watch and was ready to go with Suman....

Priya clucked annoyed....

" Father and daughter....you live with your case...I  will live my life alone...go to hell.."

She said with fake expressions....

Laughing loud, Neeraj held Suman to his shoulders....

" Priya...I told you know...I have a lioness to stand at  my side...now I am relaxed...she will lead me to untie the knots in the case"

He beamed his head proudly...

" Whatever....! I am happy only"

Priya told and hugged Suman...

" Beta...take care of yourself and your papaa too"

Suman and Neeraj got into the car...

" Thank you pappa... it's so early in the morning and you are ready to work...I know it's for me... thank you so much to be with me..."

Neeraj smiled" Suman...my ultimate aim is to complete this case so soon and to see your happy face with Shravan...."

" I forgot to tell you...priya doesn't know any of these things...after we finish this case, we have to handle your mom to accept your love..."

He winked....

Suman smiled a bit....

The dream she had in the morning kept on ringing in her mind...she was restless ..and she's going to carry  the restlessness until she knew Shravan to be  quite well...

When they reached the hospital, there was a portable curtain around Shravan... Nadia was preparing some records , sitting on the couch...

  What's going on...?

She hurried to Nadia...

" What's going on Nadia?"

She raised her voice out of insecurity...

" Miss.sumam ... Cool... The male nurse is giving sponge bath to the patient"

" Oh...." Suman said and stood there assessing the windows....

In my dream , someone had intruded through this window only... it's closed permanently......thank God....!!!

She was kept on worrying and she observed the  entire room to assure Shravan's safety... In that situation, she  didn't notice Nadia who was keenly looking suman's activities...

    Neeraj was busy in looking the records and he watched Suman in a moment. He deliberately coughed to bring back suman's attention...

    Suman jerked as though she had a dream...

All these were not missed out by Nadia in anyway...

  As the male nurse completed the sponge bath, he was about to remove the curtain....

  Nadia stopped him...

" Let it be .....I have some medical procedures...after that I will remove it"

  Nodding, the male nurse  left the room...

Nadia looked Neeraj thoughtfully...

" Mr. Neeraj... if you don't mind, can I have a word with you personally...?"

She asked and Neeraj looked puzzled...

She walked out of the room and Neeraj had to follow her...

Suman was standing alone in the room...

Nadia stood and turned to suman...

" Miss.suman... the curtain is up...the securities can't watch the patient...so take care of him until  we return"

Her brows arched to the camera... Now only Suman noticed....with the curtains around, no body can watch Shravan as the cameras won't observe  beyond the curtain...

Sudden flash of happiness sparkled in suman's face...

She nodded yes to Nadia... For no reason, Suman guessed Nadia was smiling inside...

     Suman sat at the chair beside Shravan....

She touched his arms that were still cuffed...she gently massaged the redened skin around the cuffed area...

   She brought her cheeks to his arms and pressed them together... She felt his warmth and his feeble heart beat that yearns to be with her...

She stroked his head injury softly..and pressed her lips at his forehead...she caged his arms securely close to her heart...

She whispered to his ears....

" Shravan....I know you are listening...I miss you a lot...until my heart beats I won't let you in trouble...soon, you will recover and we are going to live   ' a happily ever after' life... promise me...until that you should give me the courage...your warmth is my sunshine...it will give me the power to achieve what we want... Love you Shravan"

She gently kissed on his cheeks...

She leaned her head parallel to his head...

She could smell him...she could smell him beyond the dominant medicine smells...

  She closed her eyes and filled her heart with his fragrance...

Shravan... you're going to be with me ...

When Neeraj and Nadia returned Suman was ready to go....

  At next tenth minute, Neeraj and suman were at the HQ...

" Pappa...I need the case file...I need someone to assist me...the person should be with me like my shadow...and he should obey any of my orders....if I say him to die, he should be ready for it...and , importantly...he should be trustworthy"

  Neeraj laughed listening to suman....

   Suman looked him with fuming eyes...

" Pappa?!?!"

Her tone was questioning...

  " Sorry beta...I know you are at work mode and you are simply a devil in your work mode...but, "

He stopped at midway...

" But... what ?"

She insisted the answer from him...

" If I should appoint an assistant as you want, I have to appoint only Aditya ...he is the only one person I have with all the qualifications you ask for..."

Suman threw the file to table annoyed...

She fixed her eyes at Neeraj who was still laughing...

" Pappa... Aditya...?!?!.I hate him..."

She sat on the chair and held her head....
