In Portugal we don't say " can you lower the sound of the TV please?" we say " Põe A PUTA DA TELEVISÃO MAIS BAIXO QUE EU NÃO ESTOU PARA ANDAR A OUVIR OS GRITOS HISTÉRICOS DA CRISTINA FERREIRA CARALHO!" and I think that's more polite 😂😂😂
