The police officers  arrived at the scene. Smoke was billowing out of the car that was on fire.  20 minutes before they had gotten a phone call from a women who was driving past. She told them about the car and here they were. The fire was still blazing on and the fire department had soon been called. As officer Trix waited in a heavy silence except for the crackling of the flames he heard crying. The sound was coming from the car. Dread filled his stomach. Suddenly the sound of screaming filled his ears.

Lina jerked awake sitting up and looking around in alarm. Several seconds past before Lina realized where she was. Allie's house. As Lina looked around she saw the figure of Allie on the other side of her bedroom, chest rising and failing in a soothing rhythm. Lina got up quietly and observe the room. The door was slightly open (to Allie's preference). Allie's room was beautiful. Her family was rich and they went a little over-board.

The wall were a light teal to match Allie's eyes. There were two queen-sized bed on either end of the room. On the wall opposite the door was a huge window that shined from how clean it was, there was two silver curtains hanging on each side of it . The rooms decor fit Allie's personality. The beds had a silver bedspread with white and dark teal pillow on it. There was a big desk right under the windowsill. The desk was neat there were pencil holders, marker holders, and every color in ink you could think of. Allie's computer was a little to the side with head phones plugged into it.

The wall and bed frames where littered with photos of friends and Family. On Lina's bed frame there was a big picture of Charlie, Allie, Whitney, Mrs. Cinder, Mr.Cinder and Lina herself. They were at Disneyland and they were five. Mrs and Mr Cinder (Allie's parents) had taken the girls for a vacation when their parents had need time away from their kids. This became a tradition. Each year a different set of parents would take the girls to a new place to help the other parents relax. They had continued doing this until this year. Lina's parents had died in a car crash. They had been planing this year vacation.

That was how Lina ended up with her 'Parents' they were her Aunt and Uncle by marriage. Aunt Cho had married Lina's mothers brother. Then he had died from cancer. Aunt Cho had married Uncle Derick. When Lina's parents died for some reason she was given to them and not closer family.

Lina heard footsteps in the hall and tip-toed out to see who it was. OF Course it was Chris.
