Chapter 2: The Beginning
_______________________________________________________________________________________________

Ursa's POV

After the academy, I did what the Hokage asked me to do and went to his office. Once, I was there, he gave me enough money to last the whole month and a set of keys to the apartment I'll be living in. He also informed me that he'll be keeping a close eye on me and my actions, which means that a squadron of Anbu members will be watching me from a distance.

I don't really mind that I'm under security because I'm not the type to do anything illegal, I'm pretty boring. I'm the calm rather than the crazy.

Besides after I left the Hokage to do his paperwork, I went to the store and bought clothes. Guess what color. If you guessed black, then you're correct. Black clothing is what I live for, it goes with everything and it makes you look like a bad ass.

Anyways, right now, I'm getting ready for another day at the academy. Life must hate me because in my real world, I just finished school and now in this world, I'm going to school again. It's not like I have something against school itself, it's just that I don't like the people in the school. They're too annoying.

Dressing myself for the day, I run my pale fingers through my curly pixie cut and sigh. Turning my head to look at my alarm clock, I frown.

Time for school, yipee!

Exiting my bedroom, I go to the kitchen and grab an apple for a quick, simple breakfast. On my way to the front door, I grab the keys from the side table and exit my apartment. Locking the door, I slip the keys into my pocket and walk towards the academy.

Once I'm on the street, I take my apple and start eating it. Minding my own business, I ignore the running Shinobi who pass by me in a hurry. Well, that's until one of them bumps into me. With surprise, I drop my only source of breakfast. Clenching my jaw, I glare at the older ninja.

"Watch it," I growl, glaring murderously at the Chunin.

"S-sorry," he stutters before running away to do who knows what.

"Sorry," I mock him as I cross my arms. "Stupid ninjas and their stupid apologies. Now I don't have food," I huff.

Proceeding with my walk towards school, I watch as the crowds of Shinobi become more noticeable. Looking closely, I see that it's not only Shinobi who are crowded around, but villagers as well. And they all have one thing in common, they're all angry.

But why?

Fortunately, my question gets answered as I hear a loud, boasting laugh. Looking up for the first time, I finally notice the graffiti decorated faces of the past Hokages. Awe fills me as I look at the art, since I've always been a sucker for art, then I deadpan because it's so stupid.

Really Naruto, really, I facepalm.

"Hey! Stop causing trouble," one of the Shinobi yells. Soon others join.

"Stop doing this," one exclaims.

"You'll pay for this," he shouts angrily.

"Look at what he did," one of the villagers cries out.

Hearing them from where he is, Naruto swivels around. "Shut up, you morons! None of you would be able to do something like this! But I can! I'm incredible," he exclaims with a grin.

Yeah, incredible. More like an incredible dumbass, I nod, crossing my arms.

Ignoring the situation, I walk the short distance from the Hokage mansion to the academy since I don't want to be late. Maneuvering through the tight crowds, I finally reach my destination. Walking into the building, I remember the route from yesterday and get to class. Not as shy as yesterday, I walk in without a care.

The students turn my way, but I ignore them and turn to where Iruka is. Well, the spot where he usually stands, but he's not there.

Right, he's out there yelling at Naruto.

Sighing, I trudge towards my assigned seat. Plopping down in the seat next to Sasuke, I instantly feel the glares of every fangirl. Now, don't get me wrong, if I was them I would also be glaring. But right now, I'm secretly fangirling because I get to sit next to one of my favorite characters. Besides, he's even hotter in person, no wonder he has so many fangirls.

-_-_-_-

Several moments waiting for class to begin, I fix my posture and sit up straight as Iruka barges into class, throwing a tied Naruto to the floor. I watch as Naruto sits up and turns his head away like a stubborn child.

Well, he is a child and he is stubborn.

"Tomorrow is the Shinobi academy's graduation exam and you've failed it the last two times! This isn't the time to be causing trouble, you idiot," Iruka scolds the said child.

"Whatever," Naruto sasses.

Iruka being the hot head that he is, blows up on the class, much to our misfortune. "Time for a 'Henge no Jutsu' test! Everyone line up," our sensei exclaims, angrily flustered.

"WHAT!" Mostly everyone shouts, me included.

I'm sooo not prepared for this! What were the hand signs again?! Damn, I really need to study on my jutsu!

Think Ursa, think, I internally scream at myself for being both lazy and stupid.

"Transform perfectly into me," Iruka continues, adding more weight on my shoulders.

Great!

This random and nameless character that isn't important to the series goes first. I watch interested, mostly trying to see the hand signs he used for the jutsu.

Is that the Tiger or the Ram sign?

Scrunching my face, I memorize the sign and practice it. Looking down to my hands, I copy the sign multiple times as I try to engrain it into my mind. I hear a poof, but I don't look up as I focus on my hands.

"Okay, good. Next, Naruto Uzumaki," Iruka calls as the first nameless kid finishes.

"This is all your fault," I hear someone say.

Pfft, why are they complaining? I literally know nothing, well, I do, but I don't know the jutsus. Hence my uselessness.

"Like I give a damn," Naruto retorts. He's so sassy.

Still concentrating on my hands and how to build up chakra, I don't look up to see Naruto do his thing. Why should I care, I already know what's going to happen. Naruto's just going to reveal Iruka's perverted nature, nothing major.

"Henge," Naruto yells loud enough to gain my attention.

Curiously looking up, but mostly just wanting to see the reaction, I see as Naruto turns into a naked female version of himself. I bite my lip as I watch as Iruka's eyes bulge before he flies back with a massive nose bleed.

Again, Naruto just revealed Iruka's perverted nature.

Shaking my head, I smirk on amusement as Naruto turns back to his regular self. "Hahaha, I call this one 'Sexy no Jutsu," Naruto laughs, ecstatic that his prank worked.

"You moron! Don't invent stupid skills," the teacher yells, clearly embarrassed.

Next I watched as other students henged into Iruka Sensei. Sakura clearly showed her skills to Sasuke, who didn't care. Sasuke flawlessly turned into Iruka like no big deal, tch Uchihas and their superior skills. Other students went, but I simply didn't care enough to pay attention. Lastly, it was my turn to go.

"Sensei, don't you think it's still too early for her to take the test! She's clearly not skilled enough yet," I hear the annoying high pitch of Sakura's voice complain.

I deadpan, well, she's right about that. But still, I don't like that she said that.

"Piss off! I could do whatever I want, this is my grade, not yours. So, take your useless self and fall down a hole," I snapped, glaring at her pink frame.

"Ursa, that's not acceptable! Apologize," Iruka scolded.

I huff. "Fine. Sorry, for telling the truth to your face," I say, frowning.

She glares. Oh no, she's mad, what ever should I do?

"Okay, Ursa, show us what you can do," Iruka ushers.

Nodding, I walk up and create the Ram hand sign. Closing my eyes on concentration, I sigh as I build up my chakra. Feeling the warm energy in the out of my stomach, I release it.

"Henge no Jutsu," I mutter.

With that said, I feel my body change. Opening my eyes, I see that I'm taller as I reach Iruka's eye level. Looking down at myself, I see that my clothes are different.

I did it!

-_-_-_-

Once out of class, I rushed towards the nearest book shop and bought books and scrolls for simple jutsus. I mean, if I'm living in this world, I need to at least know some basic Jutsu. Trudging through the streets while carrying a variety of books, I sigh.

Who ever knew that being a ninja is hard? Fanfictions make everything seem so easy. What a lie that is.

Lost in my thoughts, I don't notice the person in front of me until it's too late. Dropping the books to the ground in impact, I groan at the situation. Cliche, eww. Looking up, I groan even more as I see who I bumped into.

"Great! Just perfect. Out of all the people who I could bump into, it has to be you," I complain.

"Hn. It's your fault you weren't looking," Sasuke tells me.

I roll my eyes. "My bad, your majesty, it seems that my eyes were failing me because your ugliness blinded me," I sass.

He glares his Uchiha glare. If looks could kill, I'd be dead.

"So, are you going to help me or are you going to be an arrogant ass like usual," I say before bending down to pick up my books.

Stacking the multiple books, I see that Sasuke stands there for a few seconds before he hesitantly helps with the mess. Internally scoffing, I shake my head and give a small smirk. Sasuke places the last book in the stack before standing up straight. Picking up the books, I stand and look to him.

"Thanks for the help," I say as I turn to walk away.

"Why do you have that many books anyways," he asks making me stop in my tracks.

I turn and give him a smirk. "Well, not everybody is as skilled as you," I say before walking away.

-_-_-_-

The next morning for another day at school, I sit in my seat with my head on the table, groaning in pain. Why am I groaning? Well, because yesterday I read so much that my brain currently feels like it's about to explode.

I feel eyes staring at me, but I keep my head against the cool desk as if it's some healing mechanism. Besides, I already know that it's Sasuke who's staring at me. I mean, he probably knows the reason for my pain. Eventually, everyone's seated in their seats by the time that Iruka Sensei walks in. I lift my head from the desk and watch as he walks to the center of the room with his usual clipboard.

"Ohayo, everyone! Today there's only one task to complete. To graduate you'll have to do the 'Bunshin no Jutsu'. When you're called, come to the next room to take the exam," Iruka informs.

Clone Jutsu, now with the studying I did, I know this. Again, simple jutsus, so no Jounin ranked Shadow Clones.

"Aburame Shino," Iruka calls before walking to the adjourning class.

Once Iruka leaves, students start their regular mayhem. Seeing as I don't talk to anyone, I watch as Shino walks down the steps and into the next room. Once he disappears, I suddenly become aware of the fangirls surrounding the desk and groan.

Why do they always do this?!

Scanning my purple orbs around the room, I watch Naruto, who's sitting in the front desk, shake as his nerves overwhelm him. Now, I could be like every other girl who's stuck in the Naruto-verse and help him, but that's the thing. I'm too lazy. Plus, it's his struggle, he needs to overcome this by himself.

"Akimichi Choji," Iruka calls out as Shino walks out with new headband.

Walking back to the exam room, I watch as the chubby boy makes his way down the stairs into the room. Turning away from the boy, I turn my head to look at the brooding boy next to me. I smirk at his face which is coiled in annoyance.

Oh Sasuke, you can never get a break can you?

Eventually, half the class went on to take the graduation test and came out with a Leaf Hitai-ate. Most of them tied them to their foreheads, some around their necks, waists, and their biceps.

"Ursa Ko," Iruka calls me as Kiba walks out with a grin.

In the corner of my eye, I watch as a blob of pink stands up to intervene. Standing up, I glare in her direction.

"Sakura, shut up before I make you shut up," I threaten, raising my fist.

Lucky for her, she stays quiet as I walk towards the exam room. Walking in, I see Iruka take a seat. Turning around, I close the door, then walk to the center of the room. I completely ignore Mizuki, seeing as I never liked him. Scumbag.

"In order to graduate, you need to create two perfect replicas of yourself," Iruka explains.

I nod. "How many tries do I get," I ask.

"What?"

I sigh, "how many tries do I get? Multiple or just the one try," I explain with a roll of my eyes.

"One. Just do the test, Ursa," Iruka deadpans.

Mizuki smirks.

Huffing, I concentrate on the task. Inhaling, I close my eyes and focus on the chakra inside me. Feeling the warm familiar sensation at the pit of my stomach, I smirk. Opening my eyes, I create the hand signs.

"Bunshin no Jutsu," I announce.

Hearing the poofs beside me, I turn my head to look at my results. My smirk turns to a smile as I look at myself, my replicas. Instead of two clones like assigned, I created three, plus they're perfect. Of course they're only the illusions, not the real deal.

"Congratulations, Ursa, you passed," Iruka exclaims with a proud smile.

"Thank you! It took all of yesterday practicing since I didn't really know the jutsus," I awkwardly smile with a small blush.

"Now, that's impressive. A new student learning jutsus in one day," Mizuki comments as he looks at me.

Sod off!

"Yes, thank you, sensei," I reply dryly.

"Now, Ursa, here's a headband," Iruka says, trying to hand me a blue one.

"Uh, Iruka Sensei, do you have any white ones," I ask, looking around at the blue and black headbands.

"Oh, yes! Mostly no one ever asks for a white one. Here," he tells me, handing me the new one.

"Arigato, sensei," I thank before walking out of the room.

Tying the headband around my forehead, I walk back to my seat which is occupied by Sakura at the moment. Scoffing, I walk to my seat and literally kick her out of my assigned seat. Crashing to the floor, I walk over her body and sit down. Leaning back, I kick my feet up onto the desk and cross my arms across my chest. Looking to the pinkette, I smirk.

"Tough luck? Better luck next time," I taunt with a smug smile. I hear Sasuke scoff in amusement.

Standing up, she storms away with an angry look since I pushed her away from her crush. Not that I like Sasuke, or that I was doing him a favor, I just happen to like this seat. Besides I'm too young to start a relationship, well physically, mentally I was always older than my said age.

But if I am going to start a relationship, I need to know the person better before it gets serious.

But who knows? Unexpected things always happen.

Here's some art for the chapter. This is how Ursa looks like, basically like a female Sai, lol.
