Demon Story

(A.N: yeah, sorry about the title but I swear the story is good! Well, At least I think it is. Try it out and see. Also this is written from a girls point of view. Just thought you should know.)

Lucifer sat there in his glass cage. His maniacal laughter echoing around the darkened room. He stopped and was breathing hard just as one does after laughing a great deal. He smiled a smile which mocked Mavis.

"You're hoping to hear my screams tonight, aren't you? You can't wait to see me in pain," he said. "But you won't hear a sound. I'll be as quiet as a mouse."

He tilted his head to side and placed his index finger over his lips which were curved into a cruel cold smile.

Her expression went from shocked to excited in that split second. She gave a smile but it was not a pleasant one. Her eyes full of anger and cruel malice.

"I'll enjoy breaking you," she said as she raised her whip to strike him

Then she struck. The crack of the whip hung in the silence of the air. A gash appeared on his chest but he made not a sound. He sat there on his knees. Bound by the chains that held him.

Again and agin she brought down the whip to inflict pain but if he felt any he was definitely not showing it. His body jerked and convulsed ever time her whip made contact with his flesh.

I watched this from behind her. My presence concealed. I stifled a silent scream in my throat. My fists clenched at my sides to stop me from doing anything. Lucifer had told me not to interfere so I wouldn't.

She suddenly stopped and put down the whip on a rectangular table in the centre of the room. She picked up a doll and studied it carefully the turned to look at him.

"You may be strong but your master is not," she said as she tightened her hold in the dolls neck.

I suddenly felt as if I were being choked. My eyes widening as blood pounded in my ears. I fell to my knees. My hands frantically clutching my burning throat trying to remove whatever it was that was stopping me from breathing. But my hands found nothing. My vision became blurred. My mind unable to comprehend anything.

I heard the sound of breaking glass but it didn't register properly in my mind. And I could breathe again. I still felt like I was gagged and my throat burned after a fit of coughing. I looked up and saw Lucifer holding Mavis in the air with one hand clutching her throat. Her hands clawing at his arm trying to make him let go.

"I can feel you pulse, you know," he said. His voice was quiet but it was filled with

venom. "But then what would you expect when your hearts beating a mile a minute." He tilted his head to the right. "You know what I find strange, your brain has already told your heart that it's going to stop beating and do you know what your heart does in response to that? It beats faster. Now that I find stupid."

His grip on her throat tightened. No sound escaped her now except the guttural sound of her gasps.

"People like you belong in hell. Say hello to the devil for me," he smiled as he said this and it terrified me. There was a crack and her body fell limp to the ground.

He walked to wards me in his black dress shirt which was cut to shreds and covered in blood. His feet were bare and made no sound on the black and white chessboard tilling of the room. His fringe was cut at an angle so his right eye was usually covered but right now his eyes were both revealed and were as cold and merciless as the rest of his being.

His demeanour softened as came closer. He crouched in front of me so we were eye level but I kept my head bowed. I couldn't, I wouldn't let him see the expression that I wore right now. I closed my eyes and heard him say, "It's alright. Look at me."

His voice was quiet and concerned. He placed his finger beneath my chin and raised my head to look at him. I saw my eyes which were full of fear reflected in his golden ones. His eyes widened for an instant but then he closed them as he looked away. He bowed his head so his fringe covered his face.

"I know even if I tell you not to be afraid it won't really do much. It's okay for you to be afraid," he said. His voice was steady but there was something in it that I couldn't recognise. "But I won't hurt you. I promise." He looked up at me. His eyes silently pleading. That was it. That was what I had heard in his voice before.

"I'm not afraid, really," I said. My voice kept steady. Thank goodness it wasn't betraying like my eyes had done before. "I'm just in shock after she choked me, that's it."

I smiled and hoped he wouldn't see through me. See that I was actually terrified. He smiled at me and I could tell he knew right way that I was lying. He knew me too well. But he didn't seem angry that I was lying to him. Instead he seemed to find my feeble at being brave amusing.

"You're saying it so casually as if someone strangling you is a normal occurrence," he says.

"Well you can't really call it day until someone chokes you. Am I right?" I say as he helps me up. He tucks a stray lock of hair behind my ear so my hair no longer covers my throat. He traced the red marks left by her hands as she strangled me with his fingers. I flinched when I feel his fingers on my neck. I remember the panic, the fear the suffocating feeling as she strangled me.

"She dared to hurt something at belongs to me," he murmured. The coldness of his previous tone had returned to his voice. "She had the courage to place her mark on something that's mine."

He dropped his hand and brushed the imaginary dust of his pants. "Come on let's go," he said. He smiled but it was forced. They were devoid of all of emotion except the cold fury which lay beyond then.

(A.N: hey did you like it? Anyway, I based this of a Kpop song called Voodoo Doll by VIXX.. I hoped you liked it (⌒▽⌒) I'm not really good with these little side note things. (~_~;) Um, Well have a wonderful day, night, afternoon or whatever it it where you're living. Kuro out.)
