Bethany knew what the bumblebee emoji was about. She watched the short clip on repeat, cheeks tinged pink. Did he really feel the same? Was April right? She really hadn't talked to him much since Christmas. She looked down at the bracelet on her wrist and smiled. Just breathe. It was very comforting to have it there. A constant, gentle reminder from someone who cares.

She sighed happily and dropped back onto her bed. Maybe she could work up the nerve to kiss him. She stood up and ran downstairs.
"Juliet!" She yelled as she ran into the kitchen where Juliet was washing dishes.
"Benny!" Juliet yelled back. Bethany rolled her eyes.
"I like Sebastian."
"Yeah. It's kinda obvious."
"Would it be crazy if I made a move tomorrow at the party."
"I don't think so." Juliet dried her hands, "He obviously likes you. For all you know he might make a move."

Sebastian was supposed to be paying attention to the meeting, but it was really boring and he'd just been talking to Bethany and he wasn't ready to stop thinking about their conversation. Maybe he could work up the nerve to kiss her at the party. If she even liked him back. That brought his train of thought to a stand still. Did she like him back? Had she given any indication that she might have feelings for him too? He was starting to overthink this. Now he couldn't remember anything she'd ever said or done that might indicate that she had feelings for him.
"Sebastian!" He was pulled away from his thoughts by Remington saying his name.
"Hmm?" Remington rolled his eyes.
"Has anyone else been paying attention?" Emerson still wasn't, too busy in his own little world. "I'll take that as a no." He stood. "This has been great. Very informative for anyone who actually paid attention."
"Are we done?" Sebastian asked.
"Yeah."
"Great. I'll see you guys later." And he left.
"What's up with him?" Remington asked. "You're still not paying attention." Remington rolled his eyes yet again and walked out of the room.

"Ask me one more time and I might punch you." Curcio said. Sebastian groaned.
"I'm sorry. I'm overthinking I know, I just- Ugh."
"If you honestly think she doesn't like you then you're an idiot."
"Thank you. That is exactly what I needed to hear right now."
"What are friends for?" Curcio asked, going back to tuning his bass.
"Should I do it? Should I actually do it? Because if you're wrong it could make my relationship with her really weird and awkward."
"No one ever got anywhere by running away because they're scared." Curcio said without looking up.
"Have I mentioned recently how much I hate you?"
"No, actually you haven't. I was beginning to wonder if something was wrong." Sebastian rolled his eyes. "Seriously though, if you like her go for it. I swear she likes you too. Grow a pair and make a move. If you wait too long someone else will."
"That's actually good advice."
"Thank you." Curcio bowed his head and then grinned at Sebastian. "That's what friends are for."
"Are you going to the party tomorrow?"
"I dunno. I haven't talked to Bri yet." Sebastian nodded, but he wasn't really paying attention. Thinking about the party had led him to thinking about Bethany which led to a Beatles song running through his head. Whenever she popped into his mind a Beatles song was never far behind. And honestly he didn't really mind.
"Thinking about her again?" Sebastian's face went pink and he shook his head. Curcio laughed.
