I stood in front of the café, in my favourite black Cardigan, brown leather trousers and ankle boots,repeatedly looking at the message Damon had sent me saying "hey,m.k(marykaterene),meet me and the girls at Rochelle's cafe.7:pm.don't fail to come early or you're gonna pay for our drinks
P.s,Becca is around. She arrived 8:am today"
I sighed again wondering why none of my three friends were here yet.I probably came at the right time because I couldn't pay for everyone's drinks if I came late, though I knew Damon didn't mean it or that I missed my best friend and couldn't wait to see her.by the way why didn't she call to inform me about her arrival?
I waited still, looking around for them.
Before I go any further, let me give a formal introduction of my self.am marykateren hunter.am seventeen years old.and I attend the famous academy highschool at Beverly hills.I go to school with my friends; Damon,who's the tallest and slightly feminine with thick black hair which he always made to fall across his left eye,May,who is a Korean but lived in America with her parents.you could tell she's a Korean by her looks:sloe eyes,large black eyeballs, thick shiny black hair,and white skin. And lastly my best friend, Becca,who's tall and totally jovial and fun to be with.
The three arrived soon,walking up towards me from across the street.I could see mia seriously talking with Damon, probably arguing or something. Then there was Becca walking beside them
Once they crossed the street to me I yelled"what took you guys so long!!?"
"It was all Mia's fault cause she was busy brushing those devil long hair and applying lipsticks that aren't even cute!" Damon said angrily. That explains what they were arguing about
"That's a lie! I didn't ask you to come call me,you came late on purpose!" Mia replies,folding both arms
"M.k!" Becca exclaims, raping both arms around me,ultering my balance "I really really missed you!!!"
"I missed you too,girl"
Damon and mia exchanged glances, before saying in unison "hey!"
We both let go of eachothr to see them and asked"what?"
"Enough of the hugging or our coffee's gonna get cold"
"We haven't even ordered yet.can you say something right for once?" Mia said,rolling her eyes
"Seriously I'll pay anything to get you off my back!" He yelled,sitting at a table with four chairs,probably for us.I always loved sitting outside a café. Its calm and beautiful but Damon always complains about how he thinks its a bad idea to sit outside. He says it makes him look like a woman. Well seems like,since he hangs around with three ladies.
I smied and sat across to him,while mia sat beside him facing Becca who sat beside me
Becca sighed delightfully and said "it feels so good to be back with you guys again"
"Yah right," Damon began "like you weren't gonna give me a punch the moment you arrive here again"
"I'll give you a punch!" Mia chuckles before throwing him a friendly punch
"Awwch!" He screams, brushing his palm over his upper arm" that hurts!" Looking back to Becca he said  "I think she has a crush on me"
"Oh shut up!" Mia screams, giving him another punch.I just laughed.this two always made my days in school. Sometimes I wonder if I can ever do without them.
"Hey what are you guys going to get?" I asked,roaming through the leather purse my mum gave me for no reason and I hate it so much cause my friends and practically everyone who sees it thinks its stupid. And yeah,it is.with monkey fur sticked at every end of it,which makes me wonder why I actually brought it here tonight.
"Am getting a cappuccino" Damon said ,relaxing into his seat. With one look at each other,Becca,mia and I quickly said"not it!!" Which means Damon has to get our snarks for us .he didn't get it at first,but soon realized and yelled "oh come on! Seriously, me? Like all the time!?!"
"Sure why not?" Becca said jokingly
"You know what?" He said rising up"when we resume school, I'm gonna leave you girls and join lexy and Tatiana's group!"
"In full support of that" mia said with a smile
"Hmm!" He scoffs, straining his jacket"what do you want"
"I want an éclair with hot brown coffee" Becca said and he turns his head towards me,arcing an eyebrow as I opened my mouth.he's probably warning me about what to say but I ignored him"I want two éclairs, a cappuccino and a fishpie .thank you sir"
He turns to mia,and she smiles
"I want a yoghurt, chillies, an éclair too,and a.....beverage"
"Hm!" He groans before walking away
We all sat silently. Mia decided to break the silence once again "so,you brought your bag made of monkey fur again"
"Please, let's ignore my bag"
"Its been just a month and I miss school already" Becca said
"Nah.I don't miss school atall" mia confessed
"That's because you got something better to do.like playing awesome Korean games and doing those your embroidery stuffs with your grandma"I said
" seriously for real.I don't like the idea of always seeing Damon's face everyday of my life.trust me"she replies
"How was your holiday, Becca?" I asked
"Oh it was fine or would've been fine if not for my cousin, Romeo"
"Isn't that your 18 year old a.k.a annoying cousin?" Mia said
"Yap.that's him!"
"But why didn't you call to tell me you arrived. You've had no idea how much ive missed you! " I finally let it out
"Am so sorry, I wanted to but I had low battery the whole day"
"So!" Damon announced his presence, dropping the snarks on the round table "there you go ladies!" before sitting down
"You guys," mia called,"we are going to be juniors next week.let's talk about our plans."
"Nop.not me.I gat no new plans" Becca said, her voice sounding more tiny than it already was
"I plan to meet my mister right this year.you know am gonna need someone to go to the prom with"
"Woohoo! Not fun,prom is still next year!Damon said
" is somone sounding jelly? "Mia teased
" of what?listen,my plan is to be in the basketball team this year" silence falls in.why? Because he's already in the team since last year
"But you're already on the team"mia said,dragging the'on'
" ya but when I say on the team,I mean I wanna be part of them.play more than I did before! "
"Yeah I get that spirit. You played awkwardly last year,not very impressive" mia said and he gave her a glance that could kill "so what do you wanna do?" He said annoyingly, stopping her from saying more bad things to him
"Well this year I wanna join make up class and really improve in my math.I mean how come m.k's the only one who gets an A in maths,chemistry and history!"
"Are we going to eat what I bought for you guys or we are just gonna sit here and listen to Mia's dumb stories"
"Aah! You are so annoying!" She hits him,cursing in Korea
"What did you say?"
"I said you are a dumb ass and I'll love to watch you rot  in hell"
"Wow that's new" he laughs
"Hey," I called suddenly remembering something "did you guys remember to do your history holiday assignment?"
They all looked surprised
"What assignment?!" They all chorused
I laughed this time,"Mr woodfinks emailed every student about it"
"Um.....hi" someone said from beside us.a male voice. I was probably the first to look at him.I didn't recognize him,or didn't know him actually. His hair looked brown under the dark shading of the night.he was tall,wide,muscular. Athletic body actually. And cute
"Um.....sorry,I just got here and I was wondering if this is Rochelle's café..... Am supposed to meet my sister here"
"Ya.totally. this is the place" I replied unintentionally "thanks" he said wit a smile before walking in
"I know that guy" Becca said
"You do?"" Damon asked
"Trust me I do"
