I was walking out of school as the bell rang, I could hear the rapid foot steps behind me as I was almost ran over by a stampede of kids desperately wanting to get out of this living hell.

Y/N: *Sigh* Well at least we can agree on that one...

???: HEY!!!

I looked behind me to see Mr.Explodey face himself, he stormed up to me and without his arms I had to hold back my laughter, it would of been the first time I've laughed in two years.

Bakugou: GIVE ME MY ARMS BACK!!

Y/N: And what if I don't?

Bakugou: I'LL BLOW YOU UP!!!

Y/N: And exactly how are you going to do that...?

Bakugou: WITH MY HANDS DUMBASS!

Y/N: What hands? You're the dumbass...

I walked off and headed home, it was nice and quiet until I heard someone else.

???: Hey!

I look behind me and see Midoriya, he probably just wants to thank me for saving his ass earlier, whatever...

He eventually caught up to me and stopped. I saw that he looked a little sad about something.

Midoriya: Wanna walk home together?

Y/N: Why would you want to walk with me...?

Midoriya: Because we're friends now aren't we?

Y/N: Friends...?

Did this guy just tell me that we're...friends...? I haven't been friends with anyone for a long time, what should I say...

Midoriya: Y/N? You okay?

Y/N: Huh? Oh, sorry I spaced out...yes, we're now friends...

Now feeling generous, I snapped my fingers causing the pedals to all head back to where they came from, He gave me a smile that made me smile a little, the first time I've smiled for something other than laughter in a few months. We then heard an explosion in the distance, it was the same direction the pedals went, we went to see what it was when we see A sludge villain fighting some pros.

Y/N: The hell?!

I heard Midoriya gasp, I looked at him and saw him gain an expression of horror on his face while covering his mouth,

Midoriya: No way! All Might Captured him! He must've dropped it when I grabbed his leg! Which means...It's my fault...Wait...IS THAT...

Y/N: What's wrong Midoriya?!

Midoriya: Look closer Y/N...

Y/N: What?

I looked closer to the villain and saw it had...BAKUGOU?!?!

Y/N: Holy shit! I guess I have him his arms back at the wrong time!

Suddenly I see the quirkless boy run though the crowd as he charged the villain. Everyone gained a shocked look on their faces including me.

Y/N: MIDORIYA WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!

Death Arms: Is he suicidal?!?!

I ran after him to grab him but by the time I caught up to him we were to close to the villain,

Midoriya: Kacchan!

He began to scratch the villain's skin trying to save Bakugou.

Bakugou: The hell?! What are you doing here?!?!?!

Midoriya: I don't know, my legs, they just started moving!

Villain: I've had enough of you!!!

Death Arms and the other heroes tried to rush to our aid.

Death Arms: SAVE THE BOY!! THIS THING WILL KILL HIM!!!

A flow of sludge went towards us at speeds where it would really hurt and maybe even kill us, I stuck my hands out in defence and activated my quirk.

Y/N: Please work! please work! please work!

The flow of sludge collided with my hands and was reduced to cherry pedals, the villain gained a shocked look on his face.

Villain: Grrr, THIS TIME!!

He sent multiple attacks my way as my palms glowed pink again and I grabbed each flow of sludge turning them into cherry pedals. I could feel the draw back coming in as my eyes started to get moist but at the moment I didn't care. I just kept fighting until I eventually broke into tears,

Villain: YOU'RE DEAD!!!

an attack was about to hit me when suddenly all might appeared and saved me.

All Might: I really am Pathetic...heroes have always sacrificed themselves to save others, that's what it means to be a hero!

Villain: DAMN YOU ALL MIGHT!!!

All Might: DETROIT SMAAAASH!!!

The villain was blown away by All Might's Attack freeing Bakugou and saving us. It began to rain from All Might's punch, I don't know what happened at that point but I bursted into tears like never before, I fell to my knees and cried my heart out as Midoriya and Bakugou were practically unconscious as the one spot the it wasn't raining shined the sunlight on me, cherry pedals fluttered down around me. I don't know what I was feeling at the point, Was it the drawback? realization of what I've become? Or is it actual sadness? Turns out it was all three, after overusing my quirk I began to cry, I realized what I had become and sad because I had nowhere else to go from here, I was at rock bottom. I decided to go home since I knew the others were in good hands. I walked home still with some moisture in my eyes, I've never cried so much in my life. I got home and opened the door, I sat on the couch and spent the next half hour thinking about what the hell just happened. The phone rang and I decided to answer it,

Y/N: Hello?

What I heard after that was a voice I never thought I would hear again.

Uraraka: Hello? Y/N! Are you okay?! I saw the news!

Y/N: U-Uraraka?! Not really...

Uraraka: What happened out there?

Y/N: Long story short I had to fight a villain with a friend to save someone...

Uraraka: Are you hurt?

Y/N: Physically no, emotionally yes...and not because of my quirk...

Uraraka: What happened?

Y/N: I'd prefer to talk about it some other time...

Uraraka: Oh, okay, it's nice talking to you again!

Y/N: Same here...life's been hell ever since we parted ways...

Uraraka: Really? How?

Y/N: Bullies, loneliness, depression, and a few others, nobody wanted to be my friend because my quirk doesn't suit me, and for the few people that do like me, they only like my quirk not me as a person...so yeah things have been tough but I'm hoping that will change when if I get into UA...

Uraraka: UA?! You're going too?!?!

Those words made my heart skip a beat, Uraraka's going to UA as well?! That means we will be able to see each other again!

Y/N: Y-Yes! Are you?

Uraraka: Yeah!

Y/N: Well, I wish you luck at the entrance exam!

Uraraka: You too! I gotta go, I'll talk to you later! Kay!

Y/N: Right! Bye!

She hung up and for the first time in two years I felt happy and excited. I'm going to see my best-friend again! Another reason I need to pass the entrance exam!
