I can still remember

The sparkling stream

The green trees

That grew around

I still see

The look in her eyes

As we lay

Silently

On the ground

She would whisper

In my ear

What she said

Made me blush

She would smile

Turn away

Whispering

"Honey, I love you that much."

I can still remember

The laughing children

And how

We would say

We would marry

And have our own

Children

Someday

We laughed

Joked about

The things

We would do

She would tell me

As she kissed me

"Honey,

I love you."
