Time flies*

The week of The Royal Rumble*

Tommy has officially moved back to the states after a successful, four year career in Japan.

It was a bittersweet moment when he left the island for the last time working with everyone that made his career what it is.

But now it was time to show everyone the future, and it starts this weekend.

Dallas, Texas*

Tommy flew back into Texas after Wrestle Kingdom to a warm welcome home from his dad and sister.

They haven't seen him for a while and wanted to suprise him when he came to the homeland.

Right as soon as he opened the door they were standing there with a huge sign.

"Majors Returns Home!"

It was a huge suprise but he was happy to see his two biggest supporters.

As much as it was still empty since his mom wasn't there, he knew it was ok since she never has approved of his wrestling career.

But that didn't matter to him at this point as he walked in and enjoyed the family time he got to have.

Lucky his sister finished med school a month ago and is moving down to Austin for work.

So he'll have some family close to him.

A couple days later*

It was time to change his mindset from relaxed family time, to workforce level.

Something was going down this weekend, and from the tabloids and linewires surrounding wrestling have no clue that Tommy and Alex are going to be in Phoenix.

Which is a great thing since most of the walkouts are usually spoiled before they could even show up.

Some people had speculations on Alex's return since he was spotted close to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. But being the professional he is, those rumors were shot down quickly.

Thursday, 4 days until history*

Tommy was awaken by his alarm clock and a quick knock at the door.

He quickly got up, pulled on his sweats and rushed down to the front door of his house; Opening the door to see a man wearing all red with a clipboard.

Tommy: Can I help you?

Man: Goodmorning Mister.. Thomas Majors?

Tommy: That's me.

Man: Perfect, we have good news. Your crate from Tokyo is here!

Tommy: Is it already? Alright, let me get everything rounded up.

Man: No need too, we unpacked the boxes from the crate onto a moving truck already, thanks to a Tyson Smith? He personally paid for quick shipping.

Tommy: Kenny, you son of a bitch.

He smiled and walked outside with the man, walked around the corner and saw the truck in his driveway.

The man handed over the keys and looked around his house.

Man: You have a nice house man.

Tommy: Appreciate it.

Man: Can I ask you, what do you do for work?

Tommy: Entertainment.

Man: Oh nice, anything I would know? 

Tommy: Maybe, I am working on something big.

Man: Ok ok, well trucks yours. Call that number on the back when you're done, leave the keys in it and we'll come by and pick it up.

Tommy: Thank you sir.

They shook hands and he watched the man get into his car with another guy and drive off.

Tommy walked to the truck, opened the back and looked around to see all of his boxes.

There wasn't many, but he knew it would take a couple hours to unpack and open them.

He closed the back door and walked back inside to get changed to get to work.

20 minutes later*

He was unpacking his sixth box from the truck when a familiar face walked up his driveway and suprised Tommy.

Tommy: Donte?

Donte: What's up Tom?

Tommy: Holy shit man bro hugs him* What they hell are you doing here?

Donte: I moved into this community last month.

Tommy: Really? Where at?

Donte: points down the road* About.. I'd say eight houses down?

Tommy: What a coincidence.

Donte: I'll say, what in the hell are you doing back in Texas?

Tommy knew he couldn't tell anyone what was going on this weekend, not even his friends/ old faction partners.

Tommy: Gotta give Japan a break sometimes.

Donte: It must be a hell of a time there.

Tommy: Most parts of Tokyo, but you can get into some sketchy places if you don't watch.

Donte: I bet, hey man I gotta go. Catching my flight out to Phoenix for the Rumble.

Tommy: Good luck my man.

Another bro hug was exchanged and he watched Donte put back in his ear phones and run back towards his house.

It was a nice suprise seeing a fellow, former Bullet Club member.

He was excited for his two brothers make it big in WWE.

But now it was time to continue unpacking.

Throughout the day*

Tommy was unpacking all of his boxes and rearranging most of his house as the WWE Network was playing in the backround.

He would be getting a feel on what was going in the world of the WWE.

Wrestlemania 34's, 24 documentary was playing as he was slowly checking out the rivalries that are still going.

One that caught his eye was Charlotte beating Asuka, ending her streak. Which sparked an uproar in the women's locker room as most of the babyface superstars were upset on how she lost.

They wanted Asuka to have a proper championship title run, but she wasn't getting it yet.

And one of the superstars that was outraged by this decision was Bayley.

"The Hugger" would confront "The Queen" which would lead to a heated rivalry, leading into this Royal Rumble.

From distractions, to run in's and even a suspension; WWE was planning to let them finish it in the ring this weekend for the title.

Now, they have more news with Bayley as if she loses then she'll be moved to RAW. But if she wins then she'll stay on the blue brand.

The longer Tommy watched, the more he got invested into her character. He has become a huge fan of her's and really wants to meet her.

The move was complete*

Fast forward to Sunday*

Tommy got a call from Alex as they were meeting up whenever they both got to Phoenix for the pay per view.

So he packed a bag and flew out of Dallas that morning.

It was a quick hour and a half flight and he picked up his rental car. He finally made it to his hotel before nine in the morning.

That's where he met up with Alex, both went for breakfast before they headed to the arena.

Today, they both would he signing contracts with WWE, so they were set for a while career wise.

After breakfast*

Alex jumped in the car with Tommy, bags in the back and they headed to the venue early.

They both were told that if they show up early, then no one would be able see them walking around the venue.

Today would be all secret.

Pulling up to the arena*

Tommy drove down into the tunnel that leads into the bottom lot of the venue and parked.

Both men jumped out, grabbed their bags and walked into the double doors; they walked down the long hallway.

And that's where they were caught by two big names in the company.

Hunter: Thomas Majors and Alex Auditore, how are you two doing? Hope the flight here was good?

Alex: Great sir, doing well.

Tommy: Have that exciting feeling in my stomach.

Hunter: Must be getting the debut feeling.

Stephanie: I'm sure we could talk all day, but let's get you two signed and we'll walk you through before everyone comes.

Tommy and Alex followed the two top leaders of Monday Night RAW into Hunters office, shutting the door and sitting in front of the big desk.

They were then presented with a stack of paper where listed everything from benefits to yearly salary.

Both read them thoroughly and signed with a smile on their faces.

10 minutes later*

Tommy and Alex were following Hunter and Shane as they were getting a tour of gorilla and then, they walked through the curtain to reveal what they've been waiting for.

Hunter: And this is where the work gets done.

Tommy: ...

Alex: Jeeze.

Shane: I'm assuming it's nothing like what they have in Japan, but you're guaranteed to get goosebumps in about five hours.

Tommy: I always get goosebumps when I walk out.

They all walked to the ring, Alex and Tommy got into the ring and looked around as they displayed the clock until show time.

That's the universal sign for the people in the back to get ready as the superstars are headed to the arena.

Hunter: Alright, we have four hours gentleman. We'll see you two to your personal locker rooms and have someone come grab you when you're needed.

Alex: Perfect.

All four walked back to the back and showed them to their quarters for the night.

Fast forward to showtime*

Tommy was sitting in his locker room as the men's rumble was starting up, R-Truth and Elias.

The two went pretty slow as the countdown started for number three, then the match continued to go through all the numbers until they hit eleven.

He was watching the screen carefully as a theme hit.

On the TV*

Renee: Here's my pick! Mister Money in the Bank!

Corey: Renee, why would he need to win? He's already carrying a title shot in his hands.

Renee: He's got a second chance then.

Announcer: Coming in at number eleven, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is Mister Money in the Bank. AKX.

Tommy watched Donte run down with his briefcase, slide in the ring while leaving the contract on the outside of the ring.

He watched him instantly superkick Elias, watching him flip over the top rope and hit both feet on the ground.

Towards the end of the match*

They just announced number twenty nine, that leaves only five people left in the ring.

But they would start to thin out when Donte was eliminated by Finn Bálor.

The camera's followed AKX walk over, grab his briefcase and accidentally hit the upcoming next run in, Heath Slater.

The crowd laughed as the jobber hit the ground and Donte continued to walk to the back.

Then the crowd got loud as number thirty was counting down.

As the ring was still active with fights, the ramp area went dark and another theme kicked on, this one was unfamiliar.

The titron slowly started to show the name Alex Auditore and he got a solid pop.

Most of the fans were all wrestling fans so they knew he was coming from the Japan background.

It made it so much better when everyone saw that AJ Styles was still in the ring.

So when Alex slid in, they went toe to toe, intimidating each other.

Heath finally got up and slid into the ring where he tried to stand in the middle of the two, which was a mistake as they paired up with each other and threw him over the top rope, eliminating him.

As Alex watched, he turned around and started a fist fight with AJ.

Tommy: C'mon Alex.

Tommy was watching in his locker room, seeing his Japan brothers do work.

End of the match*

All that was left was AJ Styles, Alex Auditore and Roman Reigns.

It looked to be going well for Alex, but as he was sneaking around Roman, ready to hit his "AKO"; AJ then grabbed him and threw him out, shocking him that, that just happend.

He was suprised that his brethren turned easily, so he waited as AJ jumped over the ropes and charged up his "Phenomenal Forearm".

Alex grabbed his leg and held him there as Roman came around and superman punched him off.

The Big Dog had won the match, making him the first guy to win back to back rumbles, which didn't help the crowd as they turned on Reigns quick.

Tommy then watched the show go to commercial. He was wanting to go out and congratulate Donte and Alex on a excellent performance, but he can't move for a while.

5 minutes later*

He was scrolling through social media when Charlotte verses Bayley just started and it was a quick match.

Bayley was blown up out of the gate as she was letting out her frustration and Tommy liked that.

He watched her not let Charlotte get any hands up, just beating her.

But having the champions advantage, Charlotte rolled out and grabbed something.

Bayley then followed her out to get hit in the chest with a kendo stick.

The ref called for the bell and threw out the match.

It ended in disqualification, and the crowd wasn't having it.

This would be the third match that she disqualified herself against Bayley.

Tommy wished he could've watched her become champion. Guess that would have to wait.

But now it was time for the main event, The Universal Championship match.

It was Shinsuke Nakamura going up against another Japan brethren, the Universal Champion Anthony Jenkins.

The match starts with Shinsuke's theme*

The crowd was singing along to the major babyface.

This would be his first championship match since he debuted on the main roster.

And he hand picked Anthony to be exact, and it was hyped up for almost three months.

It was mutual respect between the two since they had a history way back in Japan.

With Anthony being in the famous faction Bullet Club, Shinsuke and him had great matches since he was in Chaos.

In the ring*

Shinsuke was now in the ring stretching, looking straight at the screen when the arena changed into a red dim.

Tommy hasn't heard his theme since he could never catch it, he'd always be in time for the match to start.

Anthony walked down to the ring, soaking in all the cheers from the crowd.

He got into the ring and held his sacred title on his shoulder while the lights dimmed with a spotlight shining down onto the competitors in the ring.

Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.

Crowd: One fall!!

Announcer: And is for the WWE Universal Championship. Introducing the challenger, weighing in at two hundred and twenty nine pounds. From Kyoto, Japan; he is known as Shinsuke Nakamura!

The crowd cheered as he taunted around a little.

Announcer: And his opponent, from London, England; He is your WWE Universal Champion, Anthony Jenkins!

He held the title high as he got a great pop from the crowd.

Then he handed over the title and the match started.

Just as Tommy was getting invested, he heard a knock.

So he jumped up and opened it to see Hunter and a producer standing there.

Hunter: Ready?

Tommy: I was born ready.

Hunter: Here, put this on and well go.

He handed Tommy a sweatshirt and sunglasses, just so when they walk through the hallways then he won't get spotted by anyone.

Tommy slipped everything on, opened the door and Hunter looked around.

Hunter: Alright man, let's move.

He walked out of his locker room and was surrounded by a couple guys apart of Hunter's team.

No one would be able to recognize him now, but it made the situation more obvious.

A couple seconds down the hallway*

They turned down a hallways and Tommy looked up for a second and caught his eye on two women.

One he really looked at.

The group walked past Bayley and Sasha standing out of the womens locker room.

Both women watched them walk by as they had no idea what was happening, and then they made their way to catering where everyone was then questioning.

In gorilla*

Tommy stood outside of the curtain as the match was ending, he peeked over and watched the final seconds of the match.

Anthony looked like he was about to drop his title tonight, but when a distracted Shinsuke wasn't paying attention, Anthony saw he was turned around and hit a superkick to the back of the head.

Cole: "Lights Out" from the champion, and cover!

1.. 2.. 3.. ding ding ding*

Tommy smiled as one of his best friends is still on top of the world.

But then something else was happening as Shinsuke grabbed his title and tried to hand it to him, but when Anthony went to grab it; Nakamura then kicked him down as he dropped to his knee's.

It was a heel turn as Shinsuke went to his corner, charged up his finisher and hit a Kinshasa.

The crowd was booing as The OC, Gallows, Anderson and AJ ran out to help.

But when they went to pick up the Universal Champion, they held him in one spot as Jenkins was hit with another Kinshasa.

They were building for Shinsuke to join The OC, but when the beat down started; The crowd started to cheer louder as Donte and the new WWE recruit Alex ran out to help save him.

Both slid in and started the throw down as the crowd was cheering them.

Tommy enters gorilla position*

He took off the hoodie and was wearing a black shirt, black jeans and Nobull black high tops.

As he was watching the assault go down in the ring, Donte and Alex were starting to get beat down.

So it was go time.

Tommy: Time to make history.

The arena blacked out and the crowd was going crazy as they watched the titron, while the assault was still going on.

Titron showed glass break with black ooze spill down to reveal the name.

Tommy Majors*

Then his theme hit and the crowd was popping huge.

(Theme starts at 00:39 if you wondered)

The cameras showed Tommy walking out to the beginning of the ramp just trash talking the ring.

Cole: Oh my god!

Graves: Its Tommy Majors, the pride prodigy of Japan!

Renee: Holy sh-

Tommy continued down to the ring as everyone was starting to clear out now, leaving Donte, Alex and Anthony.

He slid in and all the heels jumped ship and bailed to the crowd to go backstage.

Majors then helped his brothers up and they all looked at him, Donte and Anthony had no idea this was happening.

But Tommy had them all raise their fists and the crowd cheered.

An hour later*

After the interviews were over, Tommy finally had time to sneak into the mens locker room and see only his three pals.

Anthony: Oh my god man, you suprised the hell out of me.

Tommy: Hey bro hugs him* gotta help a brotha out.

Anthony: I had no idea you were here!?

Donte: Bro, I just talked to you like four days ago. You didn't tell me?

Tommy: Gotta keep stuff secret.

Alex: The boys are back!

They all laughed and started to talk like it was old times.

Anthony told Tom he'd meet up with him in a minute, Alex grabbed his bag and headed back to the hotel.

So now it was Donte and Tommy talking in his locker room, one drinking a water after a good run at the rumble. And one enjoying a drink for celebrating his debut.

Tommy noticed that his friend was deep in his phone, and smiling.

Tommy: Sup man? Who are you texting?

Donte: One of my good friends, Leah.

Tommy: Leah?

Donte: You probably know her as Carmella.

Tommy: Oh.. oh really? Are you two dating?

Donte: Not yet, hoping I can continue this friendship to get to know her better.

Tommy: Smart man. I maybe wrong, but I remember seeing something on Instagram with her and Bayley.

Donte: Oh yeah, Pam? They're roommates a couple blocks from us.

Tommy: Are you serious?

Donte: Yeah, I think it's like three or four down.

Tommy: Oh, that's good to know.

Donte: Why, do you like her?

Tommy: I'd like to meet her, shes a great wrestler.

Donte: Yeah right, c'mon man. You like her.

He didn't say much after that, I mean Tommy did think she was pretty but didn't want to rush anything since he just got out of a three year relationship.

Donte grabbed his bags, have him a bro hug and headed back to his hotel as Anthony came around the corner.

Tommy was his ride back to the hotel, so they packed their bags and headed there.

During the drive*

They were driving in traffic, but having a good time as they were picking up where they left off years ago.

After Anthony left Japan and signed with WWE, he moved quickly to Orlando and has stayed there since.

So itll be harder to see him and Alex since they're in a different state.

But, Tommy had a quick question for his friend.

Tommy: Alright man, you're next to ask. Do you have anyone in mind?

Anthony: Oh for sure. WWE is thinking of putting Becky Lynch and I in a love story. But I'd like to make it more than a story, I mean were both on top of the red brand and she's pretty good looking too.

Tommy: Can't argue with you there.

Anthony: I mean, the man? C'mon.

Tommy: I hear ya.

They showed up to the hotel and walked in as they were going to grab a quick late night bite to catch up and celebrate everyone being back.

Things are about to get interesting.
