Japan Will Forever Be Home

Backstory*

Tommy Majors, one of the leaders of the new power house they call Bullet Club.

He's Kenny Omega's right hand man when it comes to dominating and showing how treacherous the faction can be.

Tommy started out as one of the biggest babyfaces in the company with his tag partner Alex Auditore.

Both came into the company trained by Lance Archer, Hiroshi Tanahashi and EVIL.

The amount of training the two went through was enough to show the recruiters they could be top stars.

A couple months later, they both won the IWGP Junior Tag Team Championships.

After they both lost the titles a couple months later, the new leader of Bullet Club later welcomed them into the growing group.

That would be the best decision of their lives where they made great friends with two more wrestler's who would go on from being successful in New Japan, then move over to WWE.

Then with the Elite era of Bullet Club coming into affect, something was building as the guys were moving around quickly.

Tommy had a bad feeling coming into his third Wrestle Kingdom.

January 20th, Wrestle Kingdom*

Outside the Tokyo Dome*

Tommy was staying in his hotel across from the infamous dome.

It has been a hectic weekend for the IWGP Heavyweight Champion as he's been carted all over Tokyo, most media was promoting this years show.

He would be in the main event versing his longtime mentor, Kenny Omega.

This would be the first time two non Japanese wrestler's would main event this years Wrestle Kingdom.

But something still didn't feel right about today.

Alarm*

Tommy woke up in his hotel room pretty early.

The promoters were having a photoshoot early in the dome before the show started.

Then Tommy and Kenny could pick their spots and then get ready for that night.

Tommy gets up*

He walked over to the big window over looking the dome and carnival behind it.

Tommy: Sighs* This will be the last time I get to see this beautiful sight.

After admiring the scenery once last time, Tommy turned around and grabbed all of his champions attire for today.

Then jumped into the shower.

20 minutes later*

Tommy walked out of his hotel room to be met with one of his best friends, and IWGP Intercontinental Champion Alex Auditore.

Alex: Morning.

Tommy: Exhales* One more time.

Alex: I know, I'm going to miss this place. It's home.

Tommy: Japan will always be home.

Both were walking down the hall of the hotel and got to the lobby, where the company set them up with a car to drive them around the city.

It was time to promote the show before the photoshoot.

10 minutes down the road*

They pulled up to the building that hosts the popular radio station for Tokyo, JOAU-FM.

Tommy and Alex grabbed their titles and walked inside with the translators, promoters and managers of their team.

Everyone piled into the waiting room and listened to the show as both champions heard their name on the radio.

It was almost air time, so the secretary walked in and sit down in the small recording studio where both translators sit next to the two wrestlers as they were speaking to the hosts while Tommy and Alex just sat there.

Tommy: I guess we wait?

Alex: I would assume.

Both were then given headphones and had their microphones pulled closer to them as the host started to speak.

What they both assumed would be him hyping up their matches tomorrow for the big pay per view.

But then they had only one question from him, as he asked the wrong question and the producers were going to cut it short.

Tommy and Alex wanted to know what it was.

Host: 両方ともWWEと署名したという噂がありますが、これは本当ですか?

Translator: このインタビューは終わりました

The translator and managers got up as they were hinting to leave. But that got both men curious on what was happening.

Alex: What's going on.

Translator: Time to go.

Tommy: No wait, I know the answer.

The IWGP Heavyweight Champion was learning to speak Japanese in his spare time so he understood some of the question.

So he had the translator confirm on what he had said.

Tommy: He's asking if Alex and I signed to WWE?

Translator: Correct.

Tommy: I'll awnser it.

The translator backed up as Tommy got close to the microphone and looked at the host.

Tommy: Uh アレックスと私は他の会社に署名していません. Thank you.

He stood up and grabbed his IWGP Heavyweight Championship belt and saw Alex grab his white Intercontinental Championship and follow the team out.

Alex was super confused on what just happend.

Alex: What did he say?

Tommy: He asked about if you and I have signed to WWE.

Alex: What did you say?

Manager: Yeah, what did you say?

Tommy: I told him we haven't signed anything or to anybody. Then we walked out.

Manager: Good, keep it low and simple.

They continued to walk as Alex leaned in and questioned to Tommy.

Alex: How did they find out?

Tommy: I don't think they found out. Could be speculating if we lose tonight.

Alex: Maybe, it just blows my mind that someone could almost read our minds.

Tommy: The work of imagination I guess.

They both laughed and got into the black SUV as they continued their media tour, around Tokyo.

Later that night, at The Tokyo Dome*

Tommy was standing in his locker room as he watched one of his best friends go for his famous AKO, but was countered and hit with Chris Jericho's new spinning elbow called "Judas".

He watched him drop and get covered for the three count by Y2J.

Alex's IWGP Intercontinental title reign has officially come to an end. Two hundred and fifty three days, just shy of a full year; Dominating with that title.

Now that his match is over, Tommy started to warm up as he had another one of his best friends in a match; for his IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

This would be a match of the year since both men are mentally and physically capable of running around, shooting technical skills around the ring.

Tommy leaves his locker room*

He started to walk down the hall way of the famous dome, where he caught up with Alex.

Tommy: Hey man bro hugs him* great match.

Alex: Thanks bro, happy how it ended and couldn't be more excited that I could work with one of the best.

Tommy: Jericho is pretty good, for an old man.

They patted each other on the back and he continued down the hall where he walked through the curtain to see the one they call "The Cleaner".

Knowing that none of the other superstars that are in Bullet Club would be around the ring. So the match was against the two top of the company.

Everyone was setting up for the main event as they heard Kenny's theme kick on.

He put his shades on and walked out, without even saying anything to Tommy.

Something definitely didn't feel right.

Tommy locked in the title around his waist as he stretched a bit more while watching Omega walk down the huge ramp and slowly get into the ring.

As Kenny took off his cloak and leaned up against the corner ropes, the arena went dark.

A familiar theme song came on as the lights started to fire at a man standing at the top of the ramp.

The cameras were standing with him as he rose both arms up with double finger guns shot across him.

He then made his way down the long ramp that poured into the crowd of Japan.

All the love and support that he was getting from the fans was building up his self esteem. Hyping himself up as he got into the ring and faced his opponent, leader, trainer, friend. Kenny Omega.

They had announced both men and the title was shown.

Tommy watched Kenny stare at that title, seeing something come alive in him as this could be trouble.

Then the bell rang.

Match starts*

Tommy was hoping around a bit as Kenny just stayed in his corner.

He wasn't moving until Tommy walked up and held his hand out, to show some respect.

But he forgot that both characters were becoming the polar opposite.

Tommy was slowly becoming the babyface of the match while Kenny kept his heel persona going.

He batted away his hand and the crowd saw the respect fly out of the arena as Kenny hit a stiff forearm onto his second in command.

That rocked Tommy as he stepped back and held his face as the assault continued.

Going into this match, he thought that this would be all technical; he was wrong.

Kenny locked him up in a head lock and kept pulling until Tommy rolled out.

The Cleaner then started to attack his right leg as he knew before hand that there was a slight injury to his knee.

Tommy would become the weak link of the match as Kenny had the upper hand the whole time.

End of the 40 minute match*

Tommy was taking it all like a champ, but he could never have time to recover as Omega would be back on him with the attack.

After the ref backed Kenny up for a second, Omega walked back and caught a super kick right underneath the jaw.

He dropped and Tommy covered but only heard a one count.

That was only one.. one.

What could he do to put down The Cleaner?

Tommy was sitting in the corner, watching Kenny get up as he was questioning in what to do.

Omega was getting up and that was Tommy's cue to think of something, so they locked up where Kenny started to hit his ribs and go back on targeting that knee.

Tommy dropped to the bottom rope where he climbed to the second rope; Then, he was hit by a V-Trigger by Omega.

At this point, Tommy had no idea what was happening until Kenny had him in the corner sitting ontop of the top rope.

Kenny then had Tommy on his shoulders as he bent Majors down and hit his ultimate finisher, The One Winged Angel.

He lifted Tommy's leg up and got the three count to take the IWGP Heavyweight Championship away from Tommy.

While the leader of the faction celebrated his win, the rest of Bullet Club came out and got Tommy up.

Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa got the former champ up as Alex slid in and stood next to him.

The Young Bucks stood with Kenny as they were making a big announcement.

Kenny: That.. was a hell of a.. match. Listen Tommy, I may have had the upper hand the whole time. But you're.. you're one hell of a fighter.

The crowd applauded as they all stood in the ring, but as soon as they were about to hug the lights went out.

Tommy and Alex had no idea what was going on until the lights came back on and stood next to Kenny was Hangman Adam Page, and Cody Rhodes.

The newest recruits as they slowly showed they were wearing Bullet Club shirts underneath.

But Kenny smiled and held his fingers up at Tommy and Alex as both were blindsided by Matt and Nick Jackson.

Tommy and Alex were laid out by a superkick and Kenny stood over them.

Kenny: Now I did say you were a hell of a fighter, but you couldn't beat me. You're both replaced.

Then Chris Jericho's theme hit and all Bullet Club members were waiting to attack the new IWGP Intercontinental Champion, but he never came; They then started to assault both former champions.

After the show*

Everyone was cleared out as Alex found his best friend standing out on the ramp of the Tokyo Dome.

Alex: I figured you'd be out here.

Tommy: Last time we'll step foot on this very ramp.

Alex: Yeah, but it's for the best.

Kenny Omega then walked out and gave them both a pep talk and said his goodbyes.

It was a bitter sweet end to their last pay per view in Japan.

The next day*

Ota City, Japan*

Today was moving day for both former Japan wrestler's.

Since their contracts for New Japan were up, they successfully signed back in the states where they'll move to different locations.

They have to keep their legacy going.

Alarm*

Tommy opened his eyes to a bright room and a screeching noise coming from his old alarm clock.

He turned it off for the last time, pulled the sheets off him and sat up.

His phone was plugged in next to him on the small bedside table as a couple boxes surrounded him.

Today was his last day until his lease in his Japan apartment goes up. The company happily helped him get this place a couple minutes away from the dojo a couple years ago.

They helped him with the payments throughout his three years in the company, and also with helping him keeping his visa up to date.

Tommy would have to back to his house back in Dallas, Texas a couple times a year while they figure that out.

But today he would be packing all the memories and moving them back to the states.

As he stretched and looked at his phone, he saw a missed call from his dad.

Tommy: I would call him back but.. it's like what?

He looked at his phone and saw that it just turned ten in the morning.

So it would be nine at night in Charlotte, North Carolina. And his dad would be having to get up in the morning early, so he wouldn't be awake.

He'll call him later tonight.

But now it was time to get the small things packed and ready to go.

An hour later*

Tommy was showered and now finishing up his second to last box, when a knock at the door came.

So he got up and walked over to his front door to see Alex standing there.

Alex: Sup man?

Tommy: Just packing up, come on in.

He let his friend in as Alex looked around to see boxes everwhere.

Alex: I can't believe were leaving Japan.

Tommy: I know, I thought we'd be here for a while.

Alex: Yeah, hey. How are you shipping your stuff?

Tommy: New Japan paid for a spot in a container that'll ship everything.

Alex: Aight, I got the same deal. I guess a couple other people are moving back to the states.

Tommy: I know Juice is one, since he'll rehab his injury.

Alex: Yeah, well. Do you need any help?

Tommy: I don't think so, all I have left is my personal stuff. Like all the electronics and stuff like that.

Alex: I see.

They continued to talk a bit as Alex looked around to see it was a little more empty than usual.

Alex: I see that Ariel moved out pretty quick.

Tommy: Yeah, she started to move while we were in Los Angeles for the final tour for the United States.

Alex: It's weird not seeing you two together.

Tommy: It really is, I honestly thought we were going to get married. But it just didn't work out. Four years; Good thing we stayed friends.

Tommy dated Rowdy Piper's daughter Teal Piper while she was in Japan training for her in ring debut. They both hit it off her first day in the dojo.

After a year, they moved in with each other in the tiny apartment where it made them closer.

But with her not being signed to NJPW, it became harder on the relationship. So they ended up splitting it off a month before all this.

It crushed them both, but they agreed to stay friends.

An hour later*

Alex was getting ready to leave as he needed to go and pack, he was leaving tomorrow while Tommy was leaving today.

But before he left, he needed an answer.

Tommy: Hey; You never told me where you were moving too.

Alex: I'm going to Orlando, just to be close to everything.

Tommy: Smart, I would go to Florida but I still have all my stuff in Dallas.

Alex: Yeah, it's going to be weird not seeing each other almost everyday.

Tommy: We'll see each other almost every week.

Alex: I know, I'm just saying.

He then gave his best friend a bro hug and he was then alone.

The last box was finally taped shut and he was done.

So there was nothing else to do but pack a bag and wait until he had to leave for the airport.

Tommy wouldn't have to move a thing, as the company would hire movers to pack everything that was his and transport it to America.

2 hours later*

Tommy was in the aiprort boarding the plane as this would be a long flight.

He had his final goodbyes with the managers that helped him throughout the years before boarding.

Tommy sat in first class since this would be a non stop thirteen hour flight back home.

As soon as the flight took off, Tommy took out his laptop and pulled up his app where it was showing tonights episode of Smackdown.

He watched RAW before going to the airport, just to catch up on storylines that he may need to know about.

Now it was Smackdown, and kicking off was a Women's gauntlet match for number one contender for the blue brands women title.

After the hour long match*

It was Bayley and Charlotte left, where everyone was behind "The Hugger" as she started the match and just finished it as she hit "The Queen" with her finisher.

After the "Bayley to Belly", she then threw Charlotte over the top rope and watched her hit the ground.

The crowd cheered as she was finally getting a push.

Tommy liked watching her style of wrestling, and he was a big fan of her after seeing her verses Sasha Banks for the Women's NXT Championship at Takeover Brooklyn.

He continued to watch the rest of Smackdown as they were building matches for this Sunday's pay per view, "Royal Rumble".

It was time to make some history.

END OF CHAPTER 1.

Here. We. Go.

Two OC's have made their debut in the book. That leaves only two more.

This chapter was more backstory that leads into the rest of the book, so stay tuned!
