As Anna sat in her seat waiting for the flight to take off her heart started to going a mile a second. She knew he saw right through her.

He knew her so well. She wanted to burst into tears and hold him close to her.

She can't forget how he looked so broken the moment she walked away from him.

She knew they will hurt each other more if she stayed. This is why she wanted to leave. She knew if she stayed she will just breaking him even more.

If she leaves she wont be there to touch him , to break him. He'll be out of her reach and he'll be safe.

As the flight took off she knew this was it. The end to everything. She was going away from Jake, away from her problems.

She wanted nothing more than to run back to him and let him hold her in his arms.

But that won't happen. This was their life now. "I will always love you. Goodbye Jake" Anna whispered as she broke into sobs.

No matter where they both were their hearts will always belongs to each other.....

3 Years Later....

The night sky over the city was aligned with a magical crescent moon. Anna looked at the moonlight bathed circle that stood in front the building right across from mine.

Anna was always amazed by the city lights, skyscrapers and everything. This was once her home. She missed this place.

It felt good to be back here after so many years. It has been more than 3 years since she left this place with a broken heart. A broken heart which has never been healed.

This was the same airport. The same airport where she left him. It has been 3 years yet it still hurts her when she thinks about him. The memories of her and jake came back flashing to her.

The memories still keeps her awake at nights. Being back here keeps reminding her the past that she desperately wants to forget. It has been 4 years yet she still haven't been able to move on.

How can she. Jake was her first love, her best friend and everything to her. Sometimes She wondered whether Jake still remembers her and misses her as much as she misses him.

Has he already moved on? Is he still waiting for me as he promised to?

Anna sighed as different thoughts wondered in her head regarding Jake. She was startled when She suddenly got back hugged. She turned around only to see her cousin Jane looking all excited.

Anna laughed at how excited Jane was to see her and hugged back. "You're Late. I've been waiting for so long." Anna complained.

"Aawn I'm sorry. We couldn't find a parking spot." Jane said looking at Ethan who stood there with his phone in his hand video recording Jane and Anna with a goofy smile on his face.

"Welcome Back Anny" Ethan said as he gave her flowers as a welcome gift. Anna smiled and thanked him for the lovely flowers.

Jane and Ethan were the soon to be bride and Groom who couldn't keep their eyes off each other.

They both were getting married within 2 weeks and that's the reason why Anna came back to this city in the first place.

Jane, Ethan, Anna and Jake used to hangout together all the time before she left this place. They used to do everything together before things changed.

Jane and Ethan used to visit her in London even after everything. They have always been there for her no matter what.

Anna wasn't surprised when those two made it official and decided to get married. She was more than happy for them.

"Well let's go and surprise momo" Ethan said with a big smile on his face. Anna couldn't wait to meet momo. Her grandma who raised her up since she lost her parents.

"I can't wait to meet her. Let's go". Anna eyes filled with excitement as she squeals and got inside the car with Jane as Ethan put the luggage in the car.
