Jumping up out of breath I look around frantically. Hearing a beeping noise I look next to me and I see a heart monitor. Looking down i see i have an IV attached to me. Then and there I realize that I am in the hospital. My room door opens and the guy that has been hunting my thoughts, the one i could've sworn was a police officer is standing infront of me but with a doctors uniform on and a clipboard in his hands. " Ahhhh Ms.Thumbzen I see you're awake finally. Im your doctor Mr.Jackson". Clearing my throat I say " Why am I here, how did I get here". " Well officer Thumbzen you were being a hero and jumped in front of a bullet that was meant for this guys daughter. It hit you in the chest and missed your heart by a couple of inches. When you hit the ground you hit your head pretty hard, which caused you to slip into a coma. Shocked I touch my chest. "Mr.Jackson can you tell me how long I've been under". " If you wouldnt have woke up today it would've made a year but thank god you woke up".
