Layla's Pov

I was confused why was this man taking me? Why was he running away and Natsu was running yelling at him. I something bad going to happen to me? I was crying as the man was panting while he was running. I then hear Natsu yell "Layla cover your ears now!" I did as I was told and heard a big bang. The man was falling as he hit the ground. I was sorta his cushion, it hurt to be under him.  I then hear footstep and the man being picked up. Natsu then picked me up. I was happy I am guessing that natsu did not see my tears yet.  I then hear him say "you're going to go to jail now because of an attempt of kidnapping of your own kid." I was really confused this man was my dad? What is kidnapping is it bad? Natsu then looked at me and put me on his shoulders. "don't worry about him Layla you will learn when you're older." I asked him a question "Natsu is kidnapping bad?" He did not look up at me and said "yes Layla really bad. Now I am sure my friends will be here in a few minutes. But don't worry he will be fine." I nodded and hugged his head. "thank tou." he laughed and said "you. say u" I giggled and said "u" he nodded his head "now yua-u" "yua-u" "now you"  "you" he lifted me off of his shoulders and smiled "great job princess." I giggled at the nickname "when can I see rouge again?" I questioned him. He smiled and said, "well we are still trying to find him a home but I can see what I can do for you to see him okay?" I smiled and nodded "thank t-yua-u natsu!" He smiled again and put me back on his shoulders. 

Natsu's Pov

I was angry. He took Layla and I had to shot him in front of her. See I see Layla as my daughter. even though she is not mine I see all the kids like they are mine. That's how I get them to like me.  Well it's also my personality. I told her that kidnapping is bad and answered whatever she asked me. They only thing I was happy about is that she did not know what that shot was. I am glad that she listened to me. we reached her house and I saw Lucy on the bench waiting for me to come to bring bad news, but she should know that I would never do that to her. She looked up at me and saw Layla on my shoulders. She was shocked and ran to me and hugged me. I brought down Layla and she hugged her mother. "Luce I saw that look you should know that I would never bring bad news about Layla" She smiled and said, "I know but a mother always thinks the worst." She smiled at me and then Layla said, "Mommy! Mommy Natsu taught me how to say 'you!" Lucy smiled at me "you really did not have to she should be going to school when I get enough money-"I stopped her and said "I can help you, Luce. Don't worry I got her trust me." She smiled "but I don't have a record for her and her shots also clothes." She started to mumble about all the things that she needs. "Lucy I got this. I will get her a school and clothes and the doctors." she pouted and said "when you go can I come with you" I laughed and said, "of course Luce this is your daughter after all." Lucy smiled and hugged me again. I hugged back. "when are you going?" She asked me. "Whenever you are free." I said. She nodded and I said "you two should get some rest I will ask the director to see if he can help. okay?"  She nodded and said, "would you like to stay it's getting dark out?" I looked at her shocked " I mean I have to go and take care of rouge" She smiled and said "you can come and  have a sleepover it would be fun"
