Chloe Bougerious feels awkward to put it mildly!  Yet how else could she not behave strangely around him?  It is not like she can help it.  Her brother's best buddy, or best friend who happens to be Nathaniel Kurtzberg is the one she likes!  She has been like this over him since the third grade.  

      Now, Chloe is 20 years old!  That is only two years behind Alan Bougerious, her older brothers age and a year behind Nathaniel's  age.  She believes he has gotten to be more handsome as the years went by.  She does not care that he has grown his hair out or that her and Alan's mother, Audrey Bougerious  makes a big deal out of it!  She just knows he is the one!  

       Chloe is to shy to tell anyone about her crush. She dare not say anything to her mother since its obvious Audrey does not approve of him.  She can not tell her brother because he would tease her!  She can not tell her best friend, Sabrina since Sabrina's  death in a horrible diving accident two years ago.  She can not tell her father since no one knows where he is now.  She can not tell Nathaniel because that would embarrass her!  Besides, she is the shy sort, the type who never gets the man!  The kind who day dreams and that is all there is too it,

      Nathaniel rings the doorbell!  When Chloe answers it he smiles!  "Hey, there goose!  So, is Alan here?"  Nathaniel remarks. 

     "Y-yes!" Chloe simply states. She rarely says much to him anyway.  

     "Cool beans!"  Nathaniel says and flashes her a smile.

       Chloe notices how white his teeth are and thinks, wow, I envy the dentist and hygentist who get to clean those fancy, shiny white chompers.  She also notices how cute, his blue eyes are when she stares into them!

       "Chloe, sis!  Come on do not just stand there, let him inside!"  Alan calls out.

        "Oh, yeah!  Sorry, Nath!"  Chloe says.

          "Oh, do not sweat it!  We guys have to stick together, right?"  Nathaniel remarks.

         Chloe runs away in tears.  She thinks, is that all he will ever see me as one of the guys?  How could ever expect him to see me as girl?  I know I wear cut off  jeans and long shirts a lot, but come on that does not make me any less a woman!  She goes to her room and closes the door. She does not bother to explain her absence to anyone.

       "Alan, did I say anything wrong?  I mean what is with goose anyway?"  Nathaniel ask.

     " Do not worry about it man!"  Alan says.  He is certain his sister likes Nathaniel.  He knows he must be right after all he did accidentally see her journal entry where she admits it.  It was all due to her having left it open to that page the other day while she went to visit Sabrina's grave again.  He feels sorry for her since she rarely does much anymore since Sabrina's death.  His sister does not have any other friends.  He can tell she tries not to be shy, but can not seem to help it.

      "Oh, I get it!  She is sad because today is the day, right?"  Nathaniel remarks.

      "what are you getting at man?"  Alan ask.

       "Well, duh, he obviously means it is the anniversary of Sabrina's death.  Is that not a given fact?"  Nellie Joe Friz remarks.

        "Nellie, oh, no!  you are so right!  I can not believe I forgot all about it!"  Alan panics.  He thinks what kind of brother am I?

           " It is alright, I got this!"  Nathaniel says.

               "you do?"  Nellie and Alan says in unisoin.

                "Course,I do babe!"  Nathaniel says. He kisses her cheek and goes to cheek on Chloe.

                 Nellie remains in the living room with Alan. She is not happy  about Nathaniel is the first one to check up on Chloe or to calm her down.  Good grief, she has the right to be jealous, right? He is her boyfriend, after all!  She plains to keep it that way!

                "Look, Nellie!  You should trust him because I am sure he trust you!"  Alan says.  He winks at her.  

                 Nellie notices and winks back. She is a bit of flirt.  She walks over to him and sits on his lap.  She strokes his hair.  

            Alan strokes her hair too.  He feels something touch his shoulders. He looks at her in surprise when he realizes, Nellie massages them. He thinks it odd since she dates Nathaniel, but who is he to argue?  If a cute girl wants to spend time with him then so be it.  He returns the favor!  He gently, but slowly massages her shoulders.

        Nellie moans. She thinks, ah!  I do not want to be with Nath.  I  have no interest in him not anymore.  She believes she has a crush on Alan now!  She decides to see how he feels. She test him!  She continues to moan for him.  She takes off her clothes to reveal a bikini underneath. The colors are green and blue.  She sees him blush.  

        "Like it?"  Nellie says fliratiously.

          "Yeah, who would not?"  Alan says.

          "Good cause you know I like you way better than anyone."  Nellie says.

             "What about Nath?"  Alan says.

              "Forget it!  He is old news!  I want you!"  Nellie says. She puts her arms around Alan, and makes him feel happy. 
               The two pay no attention to the fact it is wrong for them to be together since Nellie has not broken up with Nath, or vice versa.  They just pay attention to each other.  

           Nellie kisses him!   Alan kisses her back!  As they kiss, Nath talks to Chloe.

           Meanwhile,  ChloNathan...

             "Come on goose!  Tell me!  What is that bothers you?  Is about your friends death?"  Nathaniel questions her.

           Chloe nods her head. She knows that is not the entire truth,but it will have to do for now. She sobs. She can not seem to stop.  She feels as if her world is over!  First her friend dies, now her crush friendzones her again without a care in the world, and she is not sure what her brother is up too. She wonders, why did Alan not come to check on me, himself?  Why send Nath?

          "Goose, shh!  It is alright, I am here!  I am sorry about Sabrina!  Honest!  Look, I can be your friend too you know.  why there is enough of me to share."  Nathaniel says.

           "B-But..." Chloe mutters. She covers her face.

            "But what goose?"  Nathaniel says. He feels guilty.  He can not stand Nellie,not really!  He only went out with her a few times and she still claims him as her own!  Well, he better tell her to leave him alone.

             Nathaniel stands up to do just that when Chloe grabs his arm.  He looks at her!  He thinks, she is so kind, it is a wonder no one snatches her up.  He holds her close. He is not sure what causes him to do so, but he does. He sees her fall asleep, but remains with the distraught little sis of his best friend. He does not care how it may look to others.  He stays with her and falls asleep.
