Feeling so conscious that his eyes are following me, I decided to open the fridge and give him something to eat or drink. But once I opened the fridge my mind went completely blank, it was completely empty except for the pack of bread slices and my milk can. My parents weren't even bothered to fill up the fridge.

I turned to face him and saw him eyeing the fridge with frightening eyes. I quickly closed the door and searched for an excuse to tell him. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any excuse which is believable and not ridiculous. He must have realized that I was uncomfortable with all this, as he suddenly stood scratching his head.

"Well, um.. have you eaten anything?" he asked trying not to look at my face directly.

I didn't say anything. I couldn't say yes as it was obvious that I didn't have dinner. If I tell him I didn't even have lunch it would make things more awkward. But the most awkward situation is that we are completely alone.

Without waiting for him to say anything I dialed up the pizza place which is around the corner mumbling to him,

"lets eat pizza."

Only then I realized that I didn't even ask if he likes pizza or whether we should order something different. I quickly ended the call and looked at him,

"You like pizza?"

He looked at me as if I'm insane and started laughing.

"Gosh Meghan. Is that even a question? Who doesn't like pizza!"

Feeing relieved that he's laughing, I quickly ordered two medium size pepperoni pizzas with coke and lava cake.

I started looking through the kitchen drawers to find the discount coupons I got from the pizza place. Well.. I actually have lots of coupons as I usually order pizza rather than cooking for myself. The drawers are a complete mess and as I rarely clean the house, as there's no one to mess up the place. My room is a mess and no one goes there other than me, myself and I and sometimes Elle.

"do you live here alone?" he asked suddenly and I was taken back.

I completely froze. With all the things that happened there's no point telling lies.

"Most of the time. My parents always go on business trips and my grandma can't always stay with me." I said without turning to face him.

He didn't say anything and stayed silent until the doorbell rang. He stood up to go but I stopped him already walking to the door.

"I'll get it."

I got the pizzas and had to call Jungkook to get the coke and the lava cake. I made a space to place the boxes and asked the question that has been popping in my head,

"why did you come?"

Jungkook looked at me and I could clearly see that he's looking for proper words, but he sighed and said,

"I saw Ellen in school and she told me you suddenly went and that she can't reach. She had asked to leave early but as she had an assignment, her professor didn't let her go." He scratched his head adding, "so I said I'll look for you and she gave me your number."

My best friend sometimes over-reacts when I don't pick her calls. Well I would do too as we don't ignore each others' calls.

Taking a deep breathe I said to him,

"Thank you," and I really meant it.

He shook his head and added giving me a warm smile,

"no problem."

Putting a pizza slice on my mouth I asked him,

"Don't you wanna know.. you know..why I was crying?"

I tried to avoid his eyes but at the same time I wanted to see his reaction. Just when I looked up he suddenly moved forward and ate a piece from the pizza slice which was on my mouth. I almost jumped from my seat. Oh God! I stiffened in my seat and I could feel my face burning. In that split second I could feel his breathe on my face and I was actually taken back. He smells like mint even. If I moved slightly forward our lips would have touched and I would have melted on to the floor.

He sat back down and acted like he didn't do anything bad, while my heart was drumming in my ears. I took the remaining part and started munching it like a chewing gum. I avoided his gaze and fixed it on the pizza in front of me, not wanting him to see my cherry red face. I knew staying with him is not good for my health.

"I'm curious, but I'll wait until you are ready to tell." He mumbled and I could clearly imagine his smirk.
