Allie's POV

Deep within me, I was tensed. How to apologize to Dean was what was actually running through my head.

I went home after the hectic day, with no sight of Dean. I pulled off my cloth, had a cold shower and put on my casuals. I left for the kitchen in search of food when Annie came in singing.

"La la la la la la" she continuously sanged

I couldn't stand the noise anymore as she kept on singing loudly. She has a way of annoying me

"Someone is in here" I screamed from the kitchen

She didn't heed to my shout as she kept on singing, now loudly. I had to storm out from the kitchen, banging the kitchen door behind me. I met her putting on an earphone pulling off her cloths. I quickly removed the earphone making her frown.

"He he he" she laughed

"You are out of your senses" I said walking back into the kitchen with the earphone

"I just bought that, give it back"

"So you can scream down this building" I hissed

I returned to the kitchen where I was preparing fries. Annie came in afterwards now changed into her singlet and bum short.

"Rumors are spreading fast" she said

"It shouldn't be my business" I replied

"It should be because it's about you"

"This isn't the first, they have been on it since my first day in that school"

With a pity face, she said "this one is new and really bad, I bet you won't want to hear them"

Immediately, my whole body froze. I wondered what new might have come out, that has spread so quickly. I ransacked my brain looking for possible things which could have led to the rumor.

And when I couldn't find any, I asked "What is that"

"That you are a lesbian, the whole school knows about it" she replied

I stood still, bewildered of her statement thinking of how possible the news came into existence.

"Could it be my enemy" I asked no one in particular

"And they claim, sassy is your lover"

"Whattt!!" I screamed

Storming out of the kitchen, I went straight to the room, layed down and covered my ear with pillows. Annie's word kept echoing in my ears. I lost appetite for food, and slept off while crying.

I woke up around 2:00am famished. I went into the kitchen and saw leftover fries in a bowl, I munched on it and afterwards settled for chilled water.

I went back to the room, searched for my phone and switched it on. I went online on WhatsApp to be welcomed with series of messages. I was too tired to reply any as I switched off my data. I wasn't catching any sleep, so I decided to give my mom a call which she answered after the third ring.

"Hi mom" I greeted

"Hi darling" she answered in a low tone

"Mom, I'm tired of that school, I want to come back home" I pleaded

"What's the problem" she asked tensed

"Crazy things are happening, I seem not to be welcomed in the school. Foes are on my neck and planning my downfall"

"He he he he he" she laughed

"Mom, it's not funny"

"Baby girl, you don't expect different people to love you, there must be an enemy"

I growled in silence "it's not an enemy mom, they are much making them enemies"

"Just bear it love"

"The worst just happened earlier, rumors are going on saying I'm... "

"Lesbian?"

In shock I asked "you know?"

"I guessed and it was right" she replied

"If you know then, that's the main reason why I wanna come home"

"But I thought you said you found her, I mean your love"she teased

"I was joking mom" I replied apologetically

"Deal with that yourself"

"But mom, I..."

Fuck!! She ended the call.

I was angry and tensed. Angry with my mom and tensed on how to face the school tomorrow. How will they look at me? What would they say?

"Aren't you going to class today" Annie questioned

"I'm not! My greetings to sassy" I replied

"But why?" She asked

"I don't just feel like"

"If it's because of the lesbian stuff, I advise you let it go, you know who you are and you know you are not what they claim you to be, just summon the courage and come to school, I'm with you"

"No qualms, but I won't be going today" I replied

"Ok then, see ya" she said running off

As soon as she left, I went into the bathroom, brushed and entered the bathtub. The cool showers that fell on my body is something that could wash away all form of anger spirit in me.

After several minutes of bathing, I came out and dried my body. In the process, my phone rang, I chose to ignore it. The call stopped at first ring and a message followed. I ignore that too, I just wasn't ready to touch my phone.

I dressed up and prepared food which I ate after. I decided to check my phone to see who called.

An unknown number.

"Unknown number again" my heart yelled

I checked my inbox and the message was from the unknown number.

"Meet me at the school hall, it's for your own good" the message reads

Ghen! Ghen!
