Raiu Midoriya: Origin (2)

(I forgot to mention but this FF will contain strong language and many swearing. Read at your own safety!)

One year later:

Raiu's pov:

Today is finally the day I will return to kindergarten! Training was very exhausting but now I manage to bring my Quirk under control.

As soon as I arrived at kindergarten, the teacher saw me and had a shocked expression.
"Midoriya-chan? Is it really you?"
Soon all attention were on me and the kids asked me to show them my Quirk. The teachers approved and we walked as a small group outside. Little bit did I know that Kacchan was watching.
I stood in front of an old tree and stretched my arms towards it and bzz! A lightning struck the tree and it started to burn slowly. After that I held my right hand above my head and a cloud came and it started to rain above the tree.
Everyone was amazed. They praised me and said how cool I am.
The truth is that I can't have my Quirk under full control so I need to be very careful around many people.

I came back to my senses as someone spoke to me.
"Hey Raiu! You're coming back and don't even greet your best friend?"
"Oh hey Kacchan.. What did you do to him?!" I pointed to the boy next to him who was all beaten up.
"You mean Deku? He thought he was stronger that me and had to settle a fight" and he started to laugh evilly.

I thought about why he didn't use his Quirk to defend himself.
Out of nowhere I went towards the ashblonde boy and was ready to make him pay but I tripped over my own foot and I pulled him down with me.
Soon he was on top of me and he had a confused expression.
"Get off of me, Raiu!" he screamed.
"But you're the one who's on top of me! You're unbelievable, I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore, Katsuki!"
I pushed him away to get up but he held my wrist preventing me getting away. I tricked him and so he let me go as I ran into the building.
He's such an awful human.

Katsuki's pov:

Katsuki.. She only called me by first name when she was angry with me.
I felt a sharp pain in my left chest. It made me go crazy. Finally, I would see her after a long time and then I'd do something to make her to hate me..
I walked away as I saw a pink hair clip, knowing that it was Raiu's I picked it up and wanted to give her back.
I refused my movements not wanting to see her hurt face.
For the time being, I will keep it, I said to myself.

After weeks we both became rivals because of our quirks and our relationship changed. I would always beat up some weak kiddos and she would help them and always complained about it. One time, she was so angry that we fought each other seriously.

I guess that home is the best place.

As soon as I was home my mother complained as well.
"Katsuki, did you fight with Raiu-chan again?"
"Yea because Deku.."
"Don't always say that it's Izuku's fault! Stop torturing that boy, Raiu would have injured herself badly if the teachers didn't stop you two! You want to become a hero, don't you!?"
As she was done she went to the kitchen making dinner.
I sat on the sofa and took out the pink hair clip.
" Where did you pick that up?" my dad asked.
I tried to hide it but he mentioned Raiu's name and I stopped.
" Yeah its Raiu's.. " I told him what happened between us and he thought about a plan.
"The best thing you can do is apologizing to her. You two were best friends for a long time and she's your first friend so."
I agreed and we went to eat.
"Apologizing may not be enough.."

The next day

Izuku's pov:

It was 11 o'clock and I woke up my cousin.
I asked her how she felt as she replied with a smile that she was doing fine.
As usual Kacchan beat up kids at kindergarten and I got enough and stood in front of a crying child.
"Stop it, Kacchan. If you're going to continue.. I... I will fight you" I stuttered as teats formed in my eyes.
"You and fighting me? You can't do a single thing Deku! You're weak!" he laughed.
I hoped that she would come. I didn't know what to do, I was too afraid.
"Youre wrong! Izu-Nii is stronger than you!" Raiu appeared and stood next to me. "He told me himself that his Quirk is much stronger than yours. Please go somewhere else" she told the crying kids and Kacchans friends ran away as well.

As always, a fight would mostly happen next but this time it was different.
"You Midoriya are getting on my nerves! Just die!" and he sped up to us as I closed my eyes. Just some seconds later I heard something froze and opened my eyes again.
Kacchan's leg was frozen by some ice.
I looked around for someone with an ice Quirk but realized that it was Raiu.
" Stop that shit, Raiu!" he struggled to get free.
"Stop fighting.. Izu-Nii and the other kids.." I could hear her exhaustion through her hard breathings.
"Katsuki!" and in a matter of seconda her eyes and hairs turned red.

We only stood there with no one talking or doing anything until Kacchan spoke.

"Meet me at 11 o'clock at the park tomorrow. Come alone, we will talk there" the aggressive boy talked in a calm matter. He used his Quirk to free himself and whispered a quiet "sorry" and went away.
Worryingly I turned to Raiu and told her not to meet with him.
"Don't worry, Izu-Nii. I want to talk to him as well" as she finished her sentence, her eyes and hairs turned into a dark green, almost like mine. We started to panic and Raiu's mother came.

Later at the family doctor

"Well, your daughter achieved her second Quirk. May I call it 'Rainbow emotions'. Depending on her mood both her eye and her hair color will change, so does her power and statistics. For example if she's angry her hairs and eyes will turn into a red tone and her power will increase by 5 times. " the doctor explained.
On the inside I felt really weak. Raiu even got a second Quirk while I am just an ordinary person without any powers.
I spend the evening at Raiu's place and aunt Irina made dinner. After that she brought me home and I wished I could stay longer with them, if I knew that it would be the last time seeing them..

Saturday morning, 9 o'clock

3rd person pov:

The green haired little girl woke up and got ready. As she was done she went downstairs in the garden, seeing her mother working already.
"Good morning, sweetie" the mother greeted.
The Midoriya's loved outside the city and were the only house in the radius of 5km. (3 miles)
Her father was rarely at home because he worked as a pro hero.
"Look Raiu. These are the berries your father planted. Taste it" the mother gave her one as she ate it.
"Its sour! Yuck!" she made a weird face as Irina laughed. The atmosphere were interrupted as Raiu asked a forbidden question.
"When will daddy come home?"
Both of them were quiet and the blonde female sighed.
"You know that dad has a lot of work,don't you?"
"But you could switch with him, can't you? I haven't seen him in for so long, I'm not sure if I could even recognize him if he stood in front of me" and she started to cry.
Irina hugged her tightly until the coffee machine made strange noises and they went inside.
"We won't talk about this anymore, alright?" Raiu nodded and they had breakfast together.

Raiu asked her mother if she could give her a ride to the park because she wanted to meet with katsuki and she agreed to it. Soon, the two rivals would meet again. But what would happen, if they can't get along with each other anymore?...
