Meeting Xaviers parents
The rest of the school day went by like a breeze.
Before I knew it I was getting out my final lesson, that is until Xavier decided to show up.
"You have detention." He said.
I just shrugged my shoulders as a response. I mean I was no bad ass but I seriously couldn't be asked, after all I did apologise for being late!
I walked past Xavier and towards where the entrance was, "come over to mine." He blurted out.
"What?" I asked confused.
"I said come over to mine." He said louder so I could hear.
"I could hear you I just don't understand why." I concluded.
"Just cause." He said with a dashing smile.
"Sure?" I asked uncertainly; as it was a strangers house I would be going to.
"Yer, come on lets go." He said whilst grabbing ahold of my hand.
His hand sent electricity to spark in my hand and up my arm. I must admit it was an odd but pleasing feeling.
I looked down to our intwined hands, feeling entranced.
Before I knew it we were standing besides his car.
And like any gentleman he held my door open for me.
I held my head down and blushed a bit at the kind gesture.
Once in the car he went over to his side and got in.
My eyes then locked with his, "you sure about me coming over?" I asked still unsure.
"Yer, no one will mind. " he brushed it off. I nodded my head as a reply.
I looked out the window staring at the trees we went passed as we cascaded ourselves amongst the thick trees.
Getting deeper and deeper into the unknown.
About half way through the car journey I could feel Xavier's eyes looking at me, "eyes on the road." I said too distracted in the forests beauty.
I heard him huff which made me chuckle a little.
"You have a beautiful laugh." Xavier commented which made my cheeks blush furiously.
Once we got to his house I gawked. He lived in a mansion; let me rephrase that, a castle.
My mouth hung open as I took in the size of the castle. It was gigantic.
I didn't realise what was happening until my door opened which let a cool breeze fill the insides of the car. Which quickly caused me to be shot back into reality.
I rubbed my eyes quite a bit trying to see if I was just imagining all this. But after every try I still saw the huge castle standing in front of me.
"Are you gonna get out of the car?" Xavier asked beside me.
"Sure." I said, too captivated by the castles beauty.
I walked up to the grand doors and I heard the car door being shut behind me.
I looked at the grand doors rather confused on what I should do. I mean I never thought a guy like Xavier lived in a castle, but then again they do say don't judge a book by its cover.
Xavier came from behind me and opened the doors to reveal a very grand interior.
Golden chandeliers cascaded down from the high ceilings. White marble flooring covered the floor. A beautiful golden and white wallpaper complemented the whole thing.
I must admit I've never seen anything quite like this.
"Are you okay?" Xavier asked.
I just stared at him, "you live here." Was all I managed to get out.
"Yer..." he said with a long pause which followed.
"Wow." I said taking in all the intricate details.
"Wow what?" He asked.
"All of this." I said pointing to all the interior.
"Really? I always thought it was too much." He said whilst dragging his hand along the elegant walls.
"It's gorgeous!" I whispered.
"Well Im glad someone thinks so." I jumped at the new voice.
I turned towards the grand staircase which revealed a beautiful lady who had a long gown on and looked to be in her early twenties.
"Mom." Xavier whined.
"Mom?" I asked. She doesn't even look like she's old enough to be his mom.
She glided down the staircase and made her way over to me, she then extended her hand, "the names Victoria but many call me vic-" she quickly took a breathe, "I must say I am surprised, Xavier's never brought a girl home before." She smiled genuinely which made me also smile.
"Mom." Xavier wined again.
I chuckled at his very childish behaviour.
His mother slapped him around the head, "when were you going to tell me you were going out with someone."
She then clapped her hands together, "your father must know!" She said excitedly.
"No mo-" but before Xavier could finish what he was going to say Victoria shouted, "Honey, Xavier brought home a girl."
And within a flash a man who looked to be in his mid twenties waltzed down the stairs.
What is it with these people and walking so regal like.
The man stood next to Xavier's mother and kissed her cheek, "what's this I hear of you bringing a girl home?" He asked Xavier.
I looked up to see that Xavier had moved closer towards me. I could tell that he was tense, his jaw was a dead giveaway.
He then looked down at me with his stormy grey eyes and I could sense that something was off.
Xavier then took me by surprise when he grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him.
He had a vice like grip on my hips which I allowed as he seemed to calm down a bit after he held me.
I looked over towards his parents and saw they were staring at me weirdly.
I then felt Xavier pulling me back and I let him do it.
His mother then spoke, "well I'm glad to meet you." She said extending her hand and I took it kindly.
Even though it was quite difficult with Xavier who still had a vice like grip on me.
Once Victoria left they both glared at each other.
That is until Victoria called out to them, "dinner."
Xavier's father then looked at me, "care to join?" He asked politely.
I didn't want to be rude so I told him, "I would be honoured."
Xavier's grip tightened more on my hips, which I don't even think is possible.
Xavier's father then left and followed Victoria.
Once out of sight Xavier turned me around, "what are you doing?" He asked.
"I didn't want to be rude." I whispered.
He then knelt down to my ear, "you will stay with me at all times, understood." He then looked back and analysed my face.
"Fine, but you should stop being so grabby." I scolded.
Xavier just smiled one of his signature smiles.
