Final Chapter

“I love you so much, Rick,” my heart shivered when I remembered her declaration again and again after we made love again and again. I’ve lost count. We both can’t seem to have enough of each other. We’re making out for the lost time when we’re apart.

Before you now it, two weeks passed so fast. Brianna has to go back to London and I made my mind to follow her so that we could still be together until she completed her studies. We decided to get married once she completed her studies. We didn’t want to wait any longer. We also have decided that we are going to stay in LA after we married where I will start working in a new office.

Yeah, Grandpa, my parents and her family have already know that we’re back together and they are so happy about it. Well her family excluding Lily that is. We didn’t know and didn’t ask how she felt about us getting back together. We don’t want to care what she think and jeopardize our relationship again.

We arrived late last night and everyone has gone to sleep except for Elisa and Mike wait up for us. We didn’t discuss much about anything as both of us were tired after a long journey last night.

The next morning, I already woke up but refused to open my eyes just yet. I tried to reach for Brianna besides me but found it’s empty instead. I opened my eyes immediately and looked around but couldn’t found her. I looked at my watch and its shows 11.00 o’clock in the morning. She must has wakened up earlier and gone downstairs.

I stretched and sat on the bed when the bedroom door suddenly opened and came in Brianna with a tray.

“Aw, you’re awake,” she whined.

I chuckled, “Yeah. Is that bad?”

She walked towards me and placed the tray on the side table, “I thought I want to wake you up and have breakfast in bed.”

I smiled, “Well, I could pretend to go back to sleep and you could pretend to wake me up. I don’t mind.”

“Aw, that’s so sweet,” she smiled and kissed my nose, “You don’t have to do that. Since I’ve brought your breakfast, you could still have in bed.”

“And are you going to feed me?” I raised my eyebrows teasingly at her.

She blushed, “Sure, that’s what I intended to do.”

“Hmm, really?” I smiled, “But can I have something else first for breakfast?” I teasing asked her.

“What’s that?” she asked with still a smile on her face.

“You,” I told her in most seductive voice I could muster.

She blushed again but leaned towards me, “Most definitely but I was thinking giving it to you after breakfast, in the shower instead,” she replied in most seductive way.

I grinned, “Hmm, I like that so much,” I kissed her passionately before she start feeding me with the food and later I had shower with her just as she promised. Hmm, life has been so good and hopes it stays that way.

After we both dress-up, we walked out of the room and bumped into Lily. She glanced at both Brianna and I. I saw she looked at our entwined hands and then looked away sadly. She then walked passed us without saying a word. I looked at Brianna and she just shrugged showing that Lily’s action doesn’t affect her at all. We walked down the stairs and straight to the kitchen. Lily is there standing by the fridge drinking some water. Ignoring her, we greeted both Elisa and Keyshia who’s looked busy preparing for lunch.

“Ah, it took you both long enough to come down,” teased Keyshia and Elisa let out a soft chuckled.

Brianna blushed while I just grinned, “I woke up late,” I lied. “I was still sleeping when Brianna bring to food upstairs. That’s why.”

“Really?” chuckled Keyshia as if didn’t believe a single word I said, “No worries, you love birds don’t have to explain anything.”

Brianna still blushed but immediately changed the subject, “Where’s dad?” she asked while washing the mug and plates.

“He’s outside with Albert,” informed Elisa, “They talking about repairing the something in the garage.”

“I think, I’ll go and join them,” I said at them, “I see you ladies later.” The three of them just nodded and I walked away after giving a sweet smile at Brianna.

I was walking out of the house towards the garage when I heard Lily called my name. “Rick, please wait,” she called when I continued walking ignoring her. “Please, Rick,” she pulled my arms and stopped me.

“What do want Lily?” I pulled my hand away from her before turning and glared at her. “Can’t you see that Brianna and I are very happy and very much in love with each other? What else do you want? Don’t tell me that you still can’t forget me and love me. I don’t want to hear that bullshit anymore.”

She looked at her fingers, “I want to apologize, Rick,” she said softly. “I realized now that you really love Brianna. I can see now the way you look at Brianna. I’m sorry for being so foolish.”

I stared at her, shock with her admission, “You not playing with me are you?” I asked. Still doubt with her admission.

“I truly am serious. I regretted for all that I have done. I’ve bee so foolish,” she confessed again with teary eyes. She really looked sincere.

I felt relieved, “I’m so glad you finally come to your senses.”

“Will you…. will you forgive me?” she stammered as tears started to run down her eyes.

“Yeah, I forgive you,” I said to her, “After all you’re going to be my sister-in-law soon.”

She genuinely smile, “You going to be married soon?”

“Yeah, right after Brianna completed her studies,” I told her, “We don’t want to wait much longer. After that, we’re going to live in LA.”

“Oh, you both won’t be staying here?” she asked.

“No, I have to take care of a new branch back home and Brianna agrees to be with me,” I told her.

“I’m going to miss you both but I’m so happy for you,” she said softly, “I wish you all the happiness with my sister.”

“Thank you Lily,” I smiled, “That’s what me and Brianna always wanted from you and everyone, to wish us to be happy.”

“Yeah, I realized that now,” she nodded her head. “Thank you for accepting my apologies.”

“You are most welcome,” I opened up my hands indicating to her that I’ll hug her.

She smiled before hugging me back tightly, “I love you, Rick, always,” she whispered.

“As a sister love a brother, right?” I teased.

She looked at me and nodded softly, “Yeah. I’m so thrilled you have you as my brother,” and hugged me again.

“Come, let’s talk to Brianna,” I said pulling Lily’s with me and walked back towards the house. Lily nodded and smile.

When we entered the kitchen, both Brianna and Elisa looked at us in surprise except for Keyshia, who was grinning widely.

“Brianna,” I said and walked towards her, “Lily has something to say,” Brianna glared at Lily and Lily looked down at her hands.

“I wanted to apologize for all the things that I’ve done to both you and Rick. I’m really sorry for being so foolish and childish. Please forgive me, Brianna,” Lily started.

“How would I know that you’re sincere?” she asked. “Who knows you’re pretending, just to get Rick attention.”

“I’m really am sincere,” said Lily. “I truly am sorry. Keysh had made me see everything now. She has talked some senses into making me realized I have been so stupid. Rick never shows any feeling towards me but a feeling of a brother towards a sister, but I’m too blind to see it. I could see clearly now how much Rick loves you and yours towards him. I was blind before this, blinded by my jealousy and envious towards you. Now, I realized why people could easily fall in love with you. You are willing to do anything for everyone and you are willing to sacrifice you feeling towards Rick, when I tried to kill myself. I realized that you really love me. I realized that I love you too and you have been my best and favorite sister because of what you really are. I should show you how much I love you but instead I have been so selfish. You have sacrificed a lot of thing for me. I know now that loves mean to gives not receive only. Keysh had made me realized that I should sacrifices my feeling to see that people that I love happy.  Rick has told me the same thing too but I refused to listen but now, I realized. “I have apologized to Rick and I sincere has accepted him as my brother.”

Brianna looked at me. I nodded my head, “Yes, she has apologized to me and I’ve forgiven her, Brianna,” I said and walked to her.

“Please forgive me Bree and I don’t think I could forgive myself if you don’t,” sobbed Lily.

Brianna sniffed and before I know it, she ran towards Lily and hugged her. “I forgive you, Lily. I love you and you don’t know how happy I am that you approved my feelings towards Rick. I want everyone’s approved including you, Lily. You are my baby sister and will forever remain that way. I will always love you no matter what.”

“I know you will and I love you too, Bree,” Lily continued sobbing. “I have been so foolish.”

“Yes you have,” interjected Keyshia while wiping the tears from her eyes. “I’m so glad you finally come to your senses,” and went over to hugged both her sisters.

I could see Elisa also has tears in her eyes. She too went over and hugged her daughters, “I’m so proud of all of you. You girls have made me the happiest mother in the world to see her daughters are together.”

“What happened,” asked Mike who suddenly appeared at the door with Albert, “Family hugging?”

“Yeah,” said Elisa, “Comes everyone, let’s hugged.” Both Albert and I chuckled before joining the hugged.

6 months later.

“Will you Richardson Mark Anderson take Brianna Elisabeth Silverstone as your wife? Promised to cherish and love her until death do you part?” I looked at Brianna who was smiling at me with tears in her eyes. She already said ‘I do’ when asked by the priest a few minutes ago and it’s my turn now.

“Yes, I definitely do,” I said and everyone including the priest laughed at my admission.

“May I have the ring?” and Lily who’s Brianna Bride’s maid handed him the ring. “Ok, Brianna, say you pledge while slipping the ring in his finger.”

Brianna took the ring and slipped into mine, “Rick, with this ring, I promised to cherish and love you forever, for as long as we both shall live. “

I took the ring from the priest and slipped into Brianna small fingers, “Brianna, with this ring I promised to cherish and love you forever, for as long as we both shall live.”

The priest smile, “I know pronounce you husband and wife. You may………” before he could even finish his words, I crushed my lips on Brianna and even I heart the claps from the crowds, I ignored them and continued kissing her passionately. I only stopped when we both out of breathe.

“I love you Mrs. Anderson,” I whispered to her as our forehead touch.

“I love you too Mr. Anderson,” she responded.

 Yeah, I finally make Brianna my wife a month after she completed her studies. After Lily apologized, we become friends again and she keeps her promised to love me as sister love a brother.
