Chapter 40

Waking up with a person that you love snuggles perfectly beside you is the way I would wanted to wake up everyday. Brianna is back in my arm and I felt the empty spaces have been filled up again.

I smiled as I remember how we both eagerly kissing each other in the car yesterday as if our life depends on it. We both couldn’t wait to reach my house and continue what we left off in the car, on my bed in my bedroom. All the emptiness that I felt for the past weeks has been filled by her last night. We both were lust for each other and last night we proved how much we really mean towards another. I love her with all my heart and last night she too proved to me how much she loves me too. She gives her all which she never did before. She let me endure and explore every part of her and I let her did the same with me.

I looked at her sleeping form looking so calm and beautiful. I try my best not to wake her up.  I want to endure this feeling having her back in my arms. Her unruly short brown hair has grown a bit but suits her perfectly, covering one of her eyes. I slowly brushed it behind her ears. She looks beautiful even in her sleep as my fingers still lingers on her cheek brushing it softly. Her skin feels so soft and smooth like a petal of roses, her favorite flower. I couldn’t stop touching her as I traced my fingers on the outline of her long face, to her nose and then her sweet strawberry taste lips which I never tired of tasting it. I couldn’t help myself but to taste it again. I pressed my lips on hers tenderly with the intention of just to peck on the lips but she surprised me when she returned a passionate kiss instead. We both let out so moan simple couldn’t get enough of each other. We’re finally apart to breath for air.

“Good morning,” she all smiles at me with her hands still wrapped around my neck and our forehead touched. 

“Morning to you too,” I said smiling back at her, “Sorry for waking you up.”

“No,” she shook her head, “I love waking up like this. I want to wake up like this forever.”

I chuckled, “Hmm, I too want to wake up like this forever and ever.”

“I love you,” she said to me giving me a peck on the lips at the same time.

“I love you too,” I said to her returning her kiss.

“I was so scared that I will not hear that from you ever again,” she said softly.

I smiled, “I’m sorry for being so stubborn, I’m just scared I’ll be hurt again.”

“You won’t,” she added almost immediately, “I promised you will never be hurt again, ever again.”

“And you promised not to back out of our love again?” I urged.

“Promised, cross my heart,” crossing her chest with her fingers, “I’ll kill myself if I ever hurt you or back out of our love again. I love you and I want to spend all my life with you.”

“I want that too. Be with you forever,” I said to her before kissing her passionately again. “Hmm, before I forget,” I got up and took the thing from my pant’s pocket. I showed her our engagement ring which she took off since the fateful incident. “Will you wear it back?” I asked her.

She smiled and without hesitation outstretched her fingers to me, “Yes, I love to wear it back on my finger.”

I grinned and slipped the ring into her finger, “Don’t ever take it off ever again,” I warned her.

“Never,” she promised and we kissed to seal the promise.

“So what you want to do today?” I asked her.

“Aren’t you working today?” she asked.

“I’m going to take leave for few days and spend some time with you,” I said to her, “When do you have to go back?”

“I don’t know,” she shook her head; “I want of spending some time with you too. I took two weeks off from college.”

“Huh, they let you?” I cast a surprised look at her, “What reason do you give them?”

She chuckled, “I’ve told them I have some urgent matters to take care of. Dad helped me to talk to them.”

“So you have two weeks here with me?” I asked her and she nodded. “Hmm, I have a lot of ideas how you could do with me and one of them is making passionate love to me.”

She all smiles, “Hmm, I was thinking of the same thing,” she responded before kissing me passionately giving me what I’ve wanted.

“Where you’re taking me?” Brianna asked when we rode off after taking our lunch.

“Somewhere,” I simply reply.

“Rick, tell me. You know I don’t like surprises,” she whined like a small kid. I just chuckled.

“You’re a very impatient person,” playfully scolded and kissing the back of her hand. I don’t blame her. I’ve been driving for nearly one hour and we still have not reach out destination, “I’m taking you to a place where I’m very sure you going to love it. So, just sit back and be patient.” She pouted her lips when she knows that I’m not going to tell her where we’re going.

We finally arrived at our destination, “Ah, we have arrived.” I said to her as I pulled the car in the parking lot.

She looked through the window while unbuckling her seat belts, “Where are we?” she curiously asked.

“My family’s ranch,” I told her smiling, “I’m going to introduced you to Blaze, my horse.”

“Wow, you ranch is big. How many horses do you have?” she asked.

“We have nearly 20 horses,” I told her. “Grandpa and dad, both love horses. Their hobby is collecting horses.’ I chuckled and Brianna chuckled with me.

“You only have one?” she asked as we walked hand in hand to the stable.

“Yeah, Blaze, I had him since……” I explained but she cut off.

“Since you’re 17, I know. You’ve told me remember,” she smiled.

“Yeah,” I chuckled. “Come, let’s go inside.”

“Wow,” she looked amazed as she entered the stable, “They are all beautiful.”

“Choose one for you,” I told her. “I’m sure grandpa and dad won’t mind. It’s a present from us.”

She smiled and hugged me, “Thanks so much.” I laughed and let her go to look at the horses so that she could choose one.

As expected, she stopped at a beautiful white female horse. I chuckled, “I know you going to like this one,” I said to her.

“She’s beautiful,” she praised as she stroked the horse mane, “Does she has a name?”

“Snowy,” I chuckled, “Just likes yours.”

She laughed, “She even look like my Snowy,” she told me, “I love to have her.”

“She’s yours then. Would you like to try her?” I pretend to ask which I knew she couldn’t wait to try it.

“Yes, most definitely,” She nodded.

“John,” I called out stableman, “Could you get Snowy and Blaze ready for us?”

“Sure, Rick,” he nodded.

“Come let’s wait outside,” I took Brianna hand and walked out of the stable. “I’m going to show around the area.”

“The scenery here is beautiful, completely different from the town,” she compliment.

“Yeah, this more on the outskirts, that’s why the scenery here different,” I informed her.

“Here are your horses, Rick,” said John handed me my Blaze while still holding Snowy for Brianna.

“Thanks, John,” I thank him as I climbed on Blaze and then looked at Brianna who already settled on Snowy, “You ready?”

“Yeah,” she nodded.

I took her around the ranch, showing her what other animal we have there before taking her further up. I took her to our private beach and rode our horses along the shore.

“Hah, now I know why you asked me to wear a bikini,” she chuckled looking at me when she saw the beach.

“This is our private beach and that’s our beach house,” I told her showing our beach which not far away.

“Hmm, no wonder you asked me to bring extra clothes,” she smiled and I nodded.

We snapped some photo along the way and I know Brianna was amazed with the beautiful scenery around her. We finally stopped and let the horses rest under the tree near the near the beach house.

“This place is beautiful,” she said smiling at me.

“Yeah, I know you going to love it here.” I smiled back at her. “Want to go for a swim?” I asked her as I took off my shirt and jeans. She smiled, nodding her head as she too slipped out from her shirt and jeans.

I looked at her in her red bikini looking so sexy, “I think I changed my mind. I don’t want to swim. I want to make love to you instead.” I grabbed her and she blushed in my arms but immediately tried to pull away. I let out a soft groan and pulled her back in my arms before crushing my lips on hers.

I groan again when she pulled away and start running towards the sea laughing loudly. I gave her a chase without much hassle and crush my lips on hers again. “I’m not going to let you go so easily,” I teased her.

She wrapped her arms around me, “And I don’t ever want you to do that either,” she said seductively.

“Hmm, that my girl,” I said to her and she yelped when I suddenly carried her in my arms bridal style and started walking back to the shore.

“Where you’re taking me?” she asked.

“To the beach house. As I said I changed my mind about swimming,” I smirked at her.

“But I want to swim,” she whined.

“We swim after I’m done with you,” I told her and continued carried her to the beach house. She didn’t complain this time but wrapped her arms tightly around me instead. Hmm, that’s my girl, I said grinned widely.
