The next day, it's Saturday. You and William are about to head for work. But you'll be receiving a visitor before that. Vanessa. Vanessa is coming over to babysit Margaret and spend some time with her. She's happy to know that Margaret is in fact her younger half-sister. Same father.

William is in your guys' room right now as he fixes his tie. You're in there with him and you're sitting on the bed. He sighs. You look at him and you say, "Baby. It's gonna be alright. You've had a talk with Vanessa, yesterday. She's agreed to watch Margaret." 

He says, "Yeah. I know. But if or when she calls, you talk to her. If she calls my phone, I'll hand it to you. It'll take a long a long time for me to regain her trust. She's doing this for Margaret and she trusts YOU." 

You sigh and you stand up. You approach him and you wrap your arms around him. You say, "Baby. I know you're upset about this. You don't have to deny that. Vanessa's your daughter too. And I know you regret stabbing her in the first place, just because she turned on you and you weren't thinking at that moment." 

**(Warning: Suicide mention.)**

He sighs and says, "You're right about all of what you said just now. I'll still murder... Just not my own. I did swear I'd make it up to Margaret. Be her influence, so she'll never EVER have to face the same things her sister did. I don't want to do that to her, too. Because if I even try... I'll kill myself."

You hug him and you say, "Don't!" He sighs and wraps his arms around you saying, "I'm sorry, honey. But I mean it. I will die before she does." You say, "Me too." He says, "Anything for her, huh?" You nod. You pull away and you say, "Hey. Vanessa's coming over and you need to set things straight. Make it right. For both of them. They are both your daughters." He says, "Yeah... You're right." 

You both hear a knock on the door and you hear Margaret yelling, "Mommy! Daddy! I'm hungry!" You say, "We'll be right out, peanut!" William says, "Just a second, baby!" You and William walk to the door and you open it. 

You look down to see Margaret, still in her pajamas. She's got on Kuromi pajamas. Fantasia bought them for her a few months ago because she knew how much Margaret loved the whole Sanrio franchise. And Fantasia spoils her like crazy.

(Like this, but slightly smaller since Margaret is three years old.)

William smiles and says, "Hey, baby. How are you?~" She says, "Good, daddy." He leans down and he picks her up. He says, "You ready to see your sister, today? She's watching you while mommy and I are at work." She smiles and nods. He says, "Daddy loves you, baby.~" He leans in and kisses her a couple of times on the cheek. She giggles. You smile at them.

You say, "You hungry, baby girl?~" She looks at you and she nods. You say, "Okay. We'll get something for you to eat." You and William walk out with Margaret. William has her in his arms. You head downstairs to get Margaret something to eat.

A moment later, you and William hear a knock on the door. You say, "That's gotta be Vanessa right now." You walk to the front door and you open it. Sure enough, there's Vanessa. You smile and you say, "Hi, Vanessa. Just in time." She smiles at you and she says, "Hey, (Y/N). Glad to be here." You say, "Please. Come in." You let her in and you shut the door.

She looks around and she says, "Dad did always like a nice place. He once owned a pizzeria." You say, "He's head of where we work, now. As a career counselor. I'm his assistant." She says, "Funny you say that. He was posing as one under a different identity years ago." 

You say, "Steve Raglan? I know. He's told me everything he's done." She nods. You say, "There's something I need to tell you about myself, later. I'm not gonna keep it from you. It's my own family history. Another reason why your dad and I make a perfect couple." She says, "Okay." 

Vanessa hears this, "Vanessa." She looks to see her dad. She says, "Dad." He says, "Hey... I'll give you time to trust me, again. I understand. But do this for Margaret. She doesn't need to know what I did to you." She says, "Anything for her sake." He smiles and says, "Thank you." 

Vanessa hears this, "Nessa!" She smiles and looks to see Margaret. She says, "Hey, sweetheart. There you are.~" Margaret runs to her and Vanessa picks her up. She holds her close. Margaret has her arms around her older half-sister. William can't help but smile at the two.

You say, "We appreciate this, Vanessa. We figured this would give her more time to spend with you besides at preschool, seeing that you are her sister." She says, "Anytime." She looks at Margaret and she says, "I'm just happy to know she's here." She kisses Margaret on the cheek and Margaret smiles and giggles saying, "Sissy." Vanessa smiles at her.

Margaret looks at the TV and she gasps. She points and says, "Monster High." Vanessa puts her down and says, "You like Monster High? Go ahead and watch some." Margaret sits on the floor and watches her show. 

You say, "Monster High's one of her favorite shows to watch. She has dolls, too." You look at Vanessa and you say, "We have lunch meats in the fridge. She loves maple ham. We also have some Healthy Choice dinners in the freezer. I always thought those were better, anyhow." William says, "They are good." You say, "Baby. You'll eat anything." He says, "Yeah. This is true."

You look at Vanessa and you say, Or if you want to order pizza or Chinese food, that's fine too. Or sushi. She loves sushi rolls." William says, "Or if you want to take her to a park or to get ice cream, that's fine." You say, "Your dad and I will be back at about 5:30... ish. Depending on the person your dad gets." 

William smirks and says, "You make it sound like she's a teenage girl about to babysit her." You say, "I mean... she once was, right? And doing the same thing for other kids' parents." He says, "That's true." You look at Vanessa and you say, "We will pay you, though." Vanessa says, "That's not really necessary. She's my sister. The love for her is already there." You say, "Awe." 

William tells her this, "You'll still get it nonetheless, Vanessa. Nothing's cheap, anymore. I've discovered that after coming back from... the yellow rabbit." She thinks back and says, "Right... The yellow rabbit. Last time I saw you before... yeah." He sighs and nods.

You and William are about to head out and you say, "Margaret. Daddy and I are heading out, peanut." Margaret gets up and comes to you and William. You both duck down. She hugs you saying, "Love you, mommy." You kiss her a few times on the face and you say, "Be good for Nessa, okay baby? You two have fun.~" She says, "Okay, mommy." 

William pulls her close and he says, "We'll be back later, baby. Be good for sissy, okay? Daddy loves you.~" He kisses her a couple of times on the cheek and she giggles. She says, "Love you, daddy." You say, "She giggles a lot when YOU kiss her on the cheek." He says, "It's my facial hair. You can't help that sometimes, either." You say, "Good point." 

You say your goodbyes. You walk out, but William stops and looks at Vanessa. She looks at him. He says, "Vanessa. Just know this... Hate me all you want, but I still love you. No matter what. You're my daughter." He heads out of the house and the door shuts. Vanessa sighs and looks away. 

She hears this, "Sissy. Watch TV with me?" She looks at Margaret and she forgets other things. She sighs and smiles saying, "Sure, sweetie. Sissy will watch TV with you." She sits on the couch. Margaret sits with her. They both watch some cartoons, together for a moment.
