Chapter 19: Lost it

Sky's POV

I sat alone in the couch.

Seto or Ethan was limp on a chair. Einshine had decided to chain him up and let me watch him as he left to see if he could find any signs of how we could get the others back.

I didn't dedate on helping him or anything. I just wanted Ty back.

I sat alone in the cold room, thinking of why I had to come up with the idea of making a game that everyone can socialize on. It wasn't a bad idea but it was a bad idea to reject the idea of changing the idea of my game into a military system.

If it wasn't for that or me leaving the void then everyone would be ok.

If I didn't exist, no one would have to suffer because of my ideas.

If I didn't exist, I would have never met Ty.

I curled up and silently cried into my knees.

I cried because it was all my fault. I caused all of this. I refused to change my idea. I refused to let my idea be used for the military.

I cried to myself for a while until I heard the front door open.

I looked up and quickly wiped the tears away.

Einshine came into view as he walked down the hall. He had a sad look as he walked into the living room.

I got off the couch and ran to him, quickly tackling him into a hug.

He sighed lowly and hugged back.

I said nothing as I hid my face in his chest. I hugged him tighter as he rubbed my back.

"I'm sorry but I couldn't find any way to get them back," he murmmered in a low and depressed tone.

I bit my lip and silently cried into his chest.

He held me close as I cried about everything.

"I-it's because of me, h-h-huh?" I slightly started to giggle as I gripped onto Einshine's shirt.

I felt Einshine tense at the sudden change of atmosphere.

I didn't care.

"I caused all of this. I made those stupid and pathetic choices," I giggled as I clutched his shirt tighter.

"What do you mean?," he asked, trying to sound calm but I could hear the mixture of confusion, fear, and sadness.

I grabbed his collar and harshly pulled him down to my eye level.

I felt a grin crawl onto my lips as the tears started to stop.

"Don't you get it! I caused all of this. I created the stupid idea of keeping a game instead of changing it into a military weaponry system. I refused to work for other companies that could have helpped mom and dad when they needed the money. I could have fucking prevented us all from getting killed," I yelled at Einshine as I lost it.

I lost all the reason to stay sane.

I laughed insanely as I felt my eyes burn brighter. I pushed Einshine away and fell onto my knees, laughing like a madman.

Einshine scrammbled into his feet and quickly tried to calm me down. He hugged me tightly as I kept laughing.

I slowly started to stop laughing. I kept my grin as I pushed Einshine away.

Einshine yelped and looked at me.

"Adam, it's not your fault. You thought of what could be better. You can't change the past. All you can do is learn to live with it,"he yelled at me as a small gust of wind started to appear inside the house.

I laughed at what he said.

"Pathetic. The past haunts you and eat a you from the inside. It feels wonderful. I can't change it but I can destroy everything.  EVERY THING,"I laughed as my hands glowed.

I threw the magic at Einshine at full force.

Einshine's eyes widen and he quickly dodged.

I made the ball stop and chase Einshine.

He kept dodging as he ran around the room.

I growled as I started to grow impatient. I used more magic and made the ball of magic go faster. The more faster it went, the closer it got to hitting Einshine and ending him.

It was about to hit him until a purple transparent shield with strange designs stopped the attack.

I twitched in anger and turned to look at Seto to see if he was awake.

I was right.

The little sorcerer was fully awake. His eyes were a bright neon colored purple. His pupils weren't seen but I knew he was looking at me. I snickered as a golden sword appeared in my arms.

I walked to Seto as I lightly giggled. The ball of magic disappeared as my sword ignited into flames. It didn't hurt at all, it was just warm.

Seto's eyes stopped glowing and he gulped and tried to get out of the chains.

I smiled and pointed my sword to his neck, causing the fire to slowly start to burn Seto's neck.

"Any last words, KiD?" I giggled out.

"P-Please Sky. T-This isn't l-like y-you," he stuttered in fear as tears fell.

I stayed quiet before smiling creepily at him.

"Then you don't know me," I snickered.

He closed his eyes tightly as I raised my sword to kill him.

Before I could kill him, I felt something being shattered on my head.

After that............................................everything went black.
