I lightly smile as I watch Sk3tch greet an old friend. I giggled as he makes a random cheesy joke.

I hear the door open and I quickly turn my phone out. I look up to see the boss.

"Hello, Sub. I wanted to see how everything was going?" he asked as his dark eyes glared at me. I said nothing since I couldn't say anything. I logged into my account on the laptop that I was provided and showed the views of Ethan and Sk3tch.

We both watched at what the two were doing.

Ethan was dodging attacks from another glitch and trying to control his mind. The other glitch seemed really weak and on his skin, viruses were trying to eat him.

I started to have regrets but this was the only way I could save my family or else they might get killed. I bit my lip as Ethan stabbed the other glitch in the stomach. The glitch screamed in pain as tears fell down his cheeks.

The boss smiled.

"Good work, Sub. It seems they were right when they said that you were the top gamer for your age," he said impressed and a slight smile.

I nodded and didn't look him in the eyes. He stood up straight and let the room.

I immediately got my phone and texted Ethan.

'DON'T KILL HIM' I typed in capitals.

I looked at the laptop. Ethan was about to stab the Glitch in the head but stopped when the text appeared in front of him. Ethan read(said as red) the message and sighed.

The boy looked up with weak brown with a little purple in his eyes. You could see the pain and confusion in them. He lightly coughed blood before passing out.

"Are you sure?" Ethan asked.

I sighed and I typed 'no'

"Did the man see you stop me?" he asked again.

'No but could you hide the glitch. We'll continue our job but we won't kill unless it's needed,' I typed slowly.

He nodded. "ok"

He made his sword resolve into 1's and 0's and got on his knees to pick up the glitch.

The glitch coughed and lightly glitch, causing Ethan to glitch the same as him. He looked around the area as books, weird words and languages, and pictures of a few people and others that were blank white.

He kept searching until a cage started to appear out of wires.

Ethan smiled and put the glitch inside. The glitch slightly whimpered and curled up as his wounds slowly healed.

Ethan lightly chuckled and made a creeper plushie appear and gave it to the glitch that happily took it in his sleep.

Ethan walked away from the cage and walked to the middle of the room. He slowly raised his hands and closed his eyes.

He opened his eyes again and he was in full control of the glitch's body.

I smiled and logged out. I got off the chair and left the place.

I went back home, 30 minutes later, I arrived and slumped on the couch. I wasn't too hungry so I just sat there, waiting for something to happen.

After a while, I slowly drifted off to sleep. The last thing I felt was something warm on my cheek and saying, "Good night my little Subby"
