Chapter Twenty-Five: A Transformation That Comes To Life

The three monsters were in Slappy and Shelly's bedroom and having fun dressing her up. Shelly was sitting on a stool and getting herself to calm down as the ladies did her hair. She was looking at a large mirror that was in front of her. Her eyes were locked on each monster. There was a Creep from the first movie and two witches from the second movie.

"You will be so pretty," one of the witches commented.

"And terrifying," the other witch added.

The girl Creep put a black clip in Shelly's hair and dashed to the closet that was across from them. She opened the closet door and went through the clothes that were on hangers.

"What is your favorite color, Shelly?" she asked nicely. "Slappy said that it was purple. Is that right?"

The poor girl did not reply and kept staring at the mirror.

The Creep realized what was wrong with her and pulled out a stunning, red dress. It was sleeveless and had glitter on the bottom. She got the hanger out of the dress and laid the dress on the bed. "You should be excited, not feeling down. Usually, Slappy is hard on his slaves and brides and ends up turning them into dummies. But he has not considered that and even treats you with respect. You know why?" She waited for Shelly to say something, but she did not. So she continued. "You are unlike anybody that he has met before. The two of you have a lot in common."

"Yes," one of the witches piped in. "He was trapped inside a book for so long. You were somewhat trapped too, Shelly. You were trapped with a family who did not love you. He was mistreated. You were mistreated. Nobody but him and us monsters love you and enjoy your company. This is why you should be happy."

The orphan's reflection frowned, which meant that the orphan herself was frowning.

"How..." she began, trying to find the right words to say without ticking anyone off. "...how can I be happy when I was already happy?"

"You can be happier," the other witch insisted. "The happiest."

"You do not get it!" She quickly got up and faced the monsters. "I was happy! Yes, I had my ups and downs. I lost my entire family and was adopted by a family that stopped caring for me...because they were busy. But I love them, and I know that they love me back! Kathy. Sonny. Sarah. Sam. I love them all! They are my friends. My family." She crossed her arms and turned away, her back now facing them.

The monsters were surprised by her outburst.

"Dang," the Creep said. "What has gotten into you?"

The orphan girl did not answer her question. All that she said was "I want to go home."

"But you are home."

"This is not my home. I feel that I am a prisoner here."

"You are no prisoner."

"I am a prisoner." She hurried past them and reached for the doorknob for the bedroom door. She gasped when she noticed that the doorknob was moving by itself. She stepped back as the door opened...

...and Slappy was standing there. Smirking.

"Hello, my queen," he greeted and glared at the monsters. "I heard yelling. What is going on?"

"N-nothing," the Creep stammered. "We...we were just talking."

"That is it? Just talking?"

"Your queen was complaining about how she does not want to be here with you," both of the witches said at the same time.

"Oh?" He looked up at his bride.

Shelly was not about to complain to him. He was a smart and clever puppet who had magic at his fingertips. He could do something - anything - to her.

"I...I am not happy here," she said softly. "I want to go to my real home. Kathy's home."

Slappy was not mad. Instead, he clapped his wooden hands and told her, "This is fantastic news!"

The lady monsters were in shock. "Pardon me?" they questioned in unison.

The human girl was also shocked. "What?"

The puppet patted her knee. "It was nice working with you, but I am done with you."

"So...you are letting me go?"

"Yep. With no catch. You are free to leave and do whatever you want."

"And...you will not try to stop me? You or your friends?"

He shook his head. "Nope. I just need you to do something for me before you are off on your own." He glanced at the monsters. "Finish getting her ready and meet me at the top of the tower." He then teleported.

Shelly was a bit concerned. Did he really mean what he said? That he would let her go? Or was it all a trick for something greater?

She gulped. She would just have to go with the flow and hope for the best.

The girl monsters were soon finished with her and led her to where Slappy ordered them to go. The top of the tower. From the corner of her eye, Shelly spotted Walter carrying Slappy Jr. and Tamara out of Slappy Jr.'s room and was trailing behind them.

Maybe Slappy was letting her take the babies too.

They finally reached the top of the tower. Slappy's friends were gathered around a wooden chair, and Slappy was standing on it.

"Hello again," he said, seeing her. "Please have a seat."

Shelly was wearing the red dress and had on red shoes. She had dark red lips and wore red earrings. Her hair was brushed, and there was a red rose in it.

The two witches guided her to the chair and made her sit in it. They strapped her to the armchairs and stepped away.

"Uh...what is going on?"

"Now!" Slappy ordered.

Still holding the babies, Walter pulled a lever, and the chair - the electric chair - lit up, shocking her in the process.

"Ah!"

Then...she started turning...wooden...
