Hey chickies!! I'm back for another update!! It's been awhile hasn't it? Well I decided since I updated "What If??" my melizabeth fanfic the other day, so I need to update here too!
And I need to apologize as most of you have probably noticed I'm really bad about updating in the summer. I think it's because school isn't going on and I don't have much of a schedule. But guess what?! School starts in like a week and a couple days! So that means a lot more updates AAAAAND maybe a new book!!
Also I have entered this book into the Rarity Awards!! Yay!! So I hope I get something out of this I know I'm not the greatest writer but I'm trying.
But first this update! Enjoy!

   Lucy and I walk down a enclosed pathway full of trees to Magnolia. Her blond hair, some parts of her hair shine due to the light coming through the trees, and it makes it look almost glowing. Her long hair goes down to her waist, like just recently, and I have to hold my breath.

  'It looks so soft and..'

  We keep walking down the path and we come to the end of the trees. For a minute it's just bright whiteness that greets me and I have to close my eyes. When I open them I see two chocolate brown orbs sparkling in front  of me. Lucy's smiling such a cute smile and again I'm forced to hold myself back. They pull me into a trance and who knows who long I was staring at them.

  I finally take notice to the hand waving in front of my face. I shake my head and smile to her. Lucy giggles and a small blush comes to her cheeks. My smile brightens. She smiles back and she starts forward again. I run to her side and grab her hand. She turns to me and I lift her hand in mine. I gently kiss the top of her hand right where guild mark is. Her breath hitches in her throat, but I don't mind planting another one right beside it. When I pull away, I still her hand in mine. I look to her face and she's almost as red as Erza's hair.

  "Not used to the affection?" I laugh and she lightly hits me with her other hand.

  "O-of course not! I've never..." she trails off and I nod with a small smile knowing full well what she was going to say. I pull her arm making her come closer. I look at her with a monotone expression and I just bring her closer and closer.

  "N-natsu?" What-" I stop her mid sentence by pressing my lips to hers. Being mates the kiss feels nothing like something else. Sparks seem to fly off of us and almost like electricity flowing from my lips to hers every time she touches them, bringing shocks all over my body. The mate bond is very strong for the Dragon Slayer making it almost impossible to stay away from their mate. As for the mate it's just falling in love just like a regular person. But when the Dragon Slayer and mate have their first kiss that's when it all starts. It's painful for the mate or the Dragon Slayer to be away from their mate. Physically and mentally painful.

I part from her and she gasps for breath. I look in her chocolate brown orbs, and I remember what happened...

~Flashback~

  "Come at me! Gimme all you got!" I shouted. Hikari, the wanna be Dragon Slayer, comes at me. His flames..wait flames?!

  "Your telling me, you have flames too?!" I roar. I see him smirk and I feel a tick mark appear on my forehead.

  "Really, Dragneel? You couldn't tell already?" He says with a hint of annoyance.

"No I could only tell about your light magic. Why do you have two?!" I shout and he stops, which give me an opportunity.

"Fire Dragon Iron Fist!!" I shout. My fist goes straight for his face, but he stops it mid air.

"Tsk." I frown and jump back.

"You know not just you can have more than one element." He mumbles. I furrow my eyebrows. He sure is a strange one. The power coming from him is...different. Powerful but..different. Why couldn't I sense the flames from before? His power is stronger than the first time I sensed it.

I turn and see no Lucy in sight. Great. I don't even have him yet. I need to hurry this up. I run towards him and he comes at me also. He jumps in the air wanting to hit me up high. I stand in place waiting, and when his fist almost hits me. I dash under and go behind his back.

"Fire Dragon Talon!" I shout. My fist makes impact this time and I give a half smile. He lands on his feet clearly shocked for a second, but it quickly goes anyway replaced by irritation. He puts his hands together and a light starts to form around them. His eyes close in concentration. My eyes start to widen.

'Who is this kid?!' I think while the light gets brighter and brighter. I dash over to him and try to punch him but instead I hit a barrier that shoots me back. I land swiftly on my feet and I frantically look around.

"Oh well." I shrug and get in a stand position. The ball of light gets bigger and bigger, then suddenly it stops. His eyes shoot open and the ball of light comes straight towards me. I stay planted with a monotone letting the ball get closer and closer. I smirk.

"Fire Dragon Roar!" I scream and and the ball goes up in flames. His eyes widen for a moment but he goes back to concentration. The light pushes back at me and I mentally smirk.

'He actually thinks he has a chance.'

I add more power behind my flames and he grimaces losing his concentration. He jumps to the side avoiding the blow, and I walk up to him. He sits up holding his head and I stand in front of him.

"Wow you're pretty strong. I didn't sense that from you. You have a great way of hiding your true power and I'm sure I haven't even seen the most of it." I hear footsteps coming around the corner.

"But let me give you some advice." I grab the collar of his shirt and I lift him to his feet keeping my hand on his shirt.

"Don't touch another Dragon Slayer's mate." I growl lowly. He looks up at me with a conflict in his eyes, and I know what it is. He's not sure anymore. I grab his shoulders and turn him around keeping a strong hold on him. And his body tenses up.

~Hikari

He turns me around and my whole body tenses up. Standing in front of me is Aki. Akiko. The girl who is like a Fire Angel. Her purple and blue hair falls down to her shoulders while her amethyst eyes sparkle in the light. She slowly walks up to me and I hold my breath. She takes her hands and place them on my cheeks. I feel the warmth spread through my body and I'm tempted to lean into her touch.

"Natsu please release him." She whispers. At first he's hesitant, but slowly nods. His arms unwrap from myself and her arms follow not long behind. She holds me tightly and I'm stunned.

'What do I do?' I think frantically. I feel her shaking and I bring my hands up and I hold her back.

"Aki what's wro-"

"Ari you need to stop. Please.. just stop this." She softly cries cutting me off, and I have to hold my own tears back.

"I-i..don't-"

"Hikari." She cuts me off again. She pull back again. She searches my eyes and the tears slowly fall down.

"Come back to me Ari." She whispers. My mind is frantic telling me to except while my body still has doubts.

"What..what if I can't." I say with hesitance. She slowly smiles.

"You have me. I'll do it for you." She mumbles and I look at her with confusion. She huffs and puts my lips on hers. My eyes widen almost popping out of their sockets she keeps her lips on mine not showing a sign of pulling back. I eventually accept her kiss. My mind happy and my body finally satisfied.

I grab Lucy and pull her into a hug. I breathe in her scent and I smile. She wraps her arms around me and I hold tighter.

"We can finally go home." She whispers.

~End of Flashback~

I look at Lucy and smile.

"Ready to start a new adventure?" My smile widens, and she nods with a smile to match mine.

Wow chickies....we have reached the end of In Love With a Dragon Slayer!!!!! I can't believe we are done with this. I was actually planning on this going on longer but that was the right time to end Book 1 of the Fire Slayer series!!! YAY!!!!! But there will most defiantly be an epilogue, so get yourselves ready for that. So now it's time for me to start Book 2: With a Dragon Slayer!! So bye chickies!! And stay tuned.
