Chapter 1
Nagisa's P.O.V.
It's been years since Koro-sensei died...by my hands. I am now a teacher following in his footsteps. Or tentacle trail. And I really mean following. Teaching at a reformatory school had been unexpected even by my expectations. Everyone of my students threatened to kill me. But I echoed the words of Koro-sensei.
'I hope you can kill me. Before graduation that is.'
I had them stiff with fear after letting my bloodlust seep through my baby blue eyes. Everyday they tried to hurt me, not kill since most of them were all bark and no bite. With Koro-sensei, their struggles to harm me was mild. And that is saying something since they tried using the water and electricity torture.
Though I had to hand it to them. They had potential. They just need polishing and training to be top assassins. But still, this is a reformatory school. Not an assassination classroom. Not the same as I had once.
".....be sure to study this part. The formula may be complicated but once - Tokuro put away that sling shot. This is class not a playground." I said not turning my head from the black board and continued to write on it.
"#£%&!"
"Language!" I scolded.
"Japanese Nagisa-sensei."
The nerve! How Koro-sensei kept his patience in check will remain a mystery to me. I took deep breaths to calm myself and turned to face my students. A smile on my face. Despite my eyes being closed, I know what they're doing. Once one of your senses is unavailable, the others will be enlightened.
"Now class, you should know better than that! Never reveal your weapons to your target. Even if they're eyes are closed."
Grumbles and complains were thrown around the room.
"I swear, she's like a professional assassin or something." One complained.
If only they knew. I may not be professional, but I am well trained.
"So you are following that octopus' tentacles, huh Nagisa-chan."
My eyes pealed open in shock. I knew that voice. A voice I hadn't heard in so long. Sure, we exchanged text messages and a few e-mail. But it's been so long since I heard that voice.
"Bitch-sensei!" I exclaimed.
My eyes zeroed on the blond beauty who looked as if age never came over her. She still looked the same as she was 7 years ago. Just a bit more matured. Just a bit.
She rolled her eyes and walked over to me. She took a look around and scrunched her nose in disgust. Not that I blame her. This place could use a clean up or two. And we might need to replace a few things. And I also need to teach some of my students on how to control themselves from openly gapping at beautiful women. Not that I'll admit it to her. Her ego will just increase.
"How you ended up in this dump, I'll never know."
I sighed. As tactless as ever I see. But that does make me feel a bit better. She hasn't changed a bit.
I cleared my through trying to gain back the attention of my students. "Class, this is Irina J-"
She cut ms off, "just call me bitch-sensei"
A tick mark popped up from my head, "and I thought you hated that name. And you aren't their teacher. I am."
She winks at me. "That's what you think!"
Just what is happening?
"Ne, Nagisa-chan do you remember that yellow octopus? The one that you, you know, put down."
Just where is this leading to?
"How could I forget?" I asked cooly.
She roles her eyes. "There's been another problem like that."
"After that incident, your think they'd close that experiment." I looked at my confused and curious students and sighed. "Let's talk outside. And if any of you dares to eavesdrop, I'll double your homework!"
"Double?" One whined.
I was already ticked off. And they just made matters worse. "Triple!"
Glares were thrown to the person who whined.
Bitch-sensei grabbed my hand and dragged me outside. I tried getting my hand back but that woman had an iron grip. She got better I guess. She wasn't this strong before. I wonder if she and Karasuma-sensei still kept touch with each other?
"I guess this would be far enough."
The principal's office.
I looked around trying to find the principal only to see a note on his desk. Irina grinned at the small piece of paper and picked it up, handing it over to me. The words that the note held told me that I something big ahead of me.
Your class is now transferred to the mountain behind the school. There is an old building that hasn't been used in a while and it's for your class. Good luck Blue Serpent.
Blue Serpent. That's a name I hadn't been called in a long time. Before I got my teacher's license, I was a part-time assassin. Karasuma gave me task and he was still my teacher, teaching me new techniques on how to kill. But during those times, it wasn't some kind of artificial life form that would destroy the earth. During those time, I had to kill humans.
In just a month in my job, I gained the name Blue Serpent. A killer who could sink fear and death to her victims with her sharp fangs. But once I had my license, I gave it up. Karasuma was disappointed a bit saying I had potential, but he respected my wishes.
But that made me wonder.
"How did the principal know who I am?"
Irina had her 'oh sh*t' look. She looked at everything except me and gave off a weird laugh. "Oh, that! It's a funny story really, we were just talking and somehow he-"
"You gave it away didn't you?"
"B-but hey! He didn't fire you!"
I rolled my eyes. "Maybe once this things over, I will be. I have to go inform my class of this. Don't do anything stupid and stay here and keep your mouth shut."
She stomped her foot, "you sound exactly like Karasuma!"
I sweat dropped, gee I wonder why he would say that to you?
Crash! Bang!
My eyes resembled a saucer and I ran as fast as I can to the source of the sound. Which of course, was my classroom. I glared the door and opened it, ready to scold my students. But who I found was a surprise.
"Yo, Nagisa how are you?"
Karma.
