When Finn woke up the next morning he decided to try and find the kitchen. It was only 6 in the morning, so he doubted there'd be a breakfast ready. But maybe he could get an apple or something that contained chocolate. He walked to the living room. He opened the door quietly. Adrian was sitting on one of the couches. "Good morning Finn." He said without lifting up his head from the book he was reading. "How'd you know it was me?" Asked Finn as he sat down on the opposite couch. There was a pot of tea in front of him. Three cups stood beside them. Adrian finished the passage he was reading. Then he closed the book, it was about the Trojan war, and sighed. "I heard you're heavy footsteps as you ran down the stairs. Your steps are heavier than you're mother's." He explained. Finn decided to ask another question now he could. "How is it that you and my mom are friends, when she is 48 and you are only 30?" There was a puzzled look on Adrian's face for a brief moment. "How much has your mother told you about me?" He asked. "She said you were 35, and that you were friends with uncle Dan. But I think not anymore. She also said you did something to astrange Dan from you, but you never talk about it." Answered Finn. "Interesting." Said Adrian slowly. "I shall tell you my story then."

I became friends with Dan when I was around 20 years old. We decided to become real life superheroes. You're aunt Laurie was also a part of this team. You're uncle was 25 then. Then there was a man who called himself the Comedian. He's never made a single joke though. There was also a man who we called Rorschach. He had a mask that had those spots. You're uncle was Night Owl, Laurie was Silk Spectre, and I was Ozymandias. We had our unique abilities that we used to fight crime. I however was and am still the smartest man alive. Therefore I never needed to actually fight crime. I found peaceful solutions. The crime of which your mother spoke was the only fight I have ever fought. It was rather necessary for the survival of mankind. In the cold war both Soviet Russia and the U.S. were threatening each other with nuclear weapons. I had one of the major leaders of the Soviet Union assassinated, so a more peaceful leader could take over. This lead to the decline of communism, eventually. A nuclear war was averted. The assassin however was discovered. There was no way of proving he was guilty, but I knew he might crack under torture. I pressured the Comedian to kill the assassin. He did, but then he tried to use this new information against me. So I fought and killed him. The only man I've ever killed. The others found out through Rorschach. He left us, and I haven't seen him since. Dan and Laurie were more than angry. They left me for a while as well, but Dan knew I had no one else. I had a palace build on the North pole. Dan persuaded me to go to Amsterdam with him and your mother. She found her wife, I found a boyfriend. Even though we broke up soon after, I decided to stay here.

Finn took in the new information. Then he asked timidly. "Boyfriend?"
