Adrian raised his eyebrow. "Is that all you took away from that story. I really didn't think you were like that." He had a look mixed with sadness and disgust. I knew what he thought. He thought I was a homophobe. I should have said those words with a little less surprise. These thoughts raced through Finn's brain. Then Shea entered the room. She was laughing, completely ignoring the awkward aura. Adrian looked up taken aback. "You have your family's sneaking skills." He scowled. She sat down next to Finn and gave Adrian a face. "Finn's gay numbnuts." "Smartest man, my ass." She said. Adrian looked at Finn and then back at Shea. All he said was. "Oh." Then an apologising. "Sorry". Finn raised his shoulders. "It's okay, you couldn't have known. I never told you." Shea rolled her eyes. "He could've known easily." She said. "You have a rainbow backpack that says gay pride." At this point the housekeeper came in with breakfast. It left them with a morning prayer and full mouths.
That afternoon they would go to Amsterdam and visit a museum. After the visit Adrian found a quiet restaurant. "So how is your wife doing?" He asked out if sheer politeness. "She's okay." Said Shea. The conversation was fairly one sided, and it quickly ended leaving them in silence. After dinner they went back to the house, and Adrian insisted that tomorrow night they should go out so Finn could meet people of his age. It must be boring for him to listen to us talking about the past. This night we can watch a movie though said Adrian. If you wish. He added. Shea agreed and they went to bed early after watching Titanic. Finn was exited for the next day, and almost forgot to wish his boyfriend a good night or day. Almost...
