𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗖𝗬 𝗢𝗙 waking up in Hiddenville was something Olivia Greenedge was still getting used to. Sure, the girl had already spent a month in this town, the way her school work from the night before littered her desk and the many posters that hung on her wall were proof enough. However, waking up in Metroberg versus waking up in Hiddenville was different.

Back in her hometown of Metroberg, she was met with the zooming noises of superheroes flying past her window, the wooshing sound of the superspeed woke her up just on time. In Hiddenville she had this bird that wouldn't leave the windowpane above her bed alone—often waking the girl up too early.

Only this time her phone ringing loudly in her ear was the thing to wake her from her weekend nap. The brunette groggily reached beside her for her phone before holding it to her ear.

"Someone better be dying,"  Olivia mumbled into the phone sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"We will be dying tonight— of fun!" Phoebe Thunderman, a longtime superhero friend from Metroberg and now neighbor said excitedly through the phone. "You, me, Cherry, girl's night. Tonight."

Olivia sighed through the phone. Her sigh must've been very telling because Phoebe spoke again. "Oh, come on we need at least one normal friend in Hiddenville and Cherry is really sweet, you know you love her,"

Olivia let out a small laugh now fully awake. "She is pretty funny," Olivia reasoned with herself. Unlike her friend on the other line, who had been diving right into the normal lives their family wanted for them, Olivia had been a bit more hesitant about it.

"Fine," Olivia gave in. "Girl's night. I'll be over soon,"

Phoebe squealed, "Yay, I'll see you soon," She said before hanging up. Olivia kicked the covers off of her before heading to her closet. It didn't take her long to pick a simple outfit before she was making her way down the stairs of her Hiddenville home.

Olivia raised her eyebrows as she came face to face with her parents. Markus and Carla Greenedge, otherwise known as the superheroes, Green Edge, and Mother Nature. At least that was Metroberg.

"Third date night of the week?" Olivia questioned the two seeing their attire. Her parents had been excitedly exploring the town now that they had the option with no worries of being called away mid-meal.

"Your mom insists on trying every restaurant this town has," Her dad said rolling his eyes affectionately as her mother went through her purse double-checking.

"Excuse me for trying to find the restaurant with the best organically sourced ingredients," Carla scolded her husband before looking at her daughter. "Where are you going, sweetie?"

"Phoebe's and then we're headed to Cherry's place for a girl's night" Olivia answered making her way towards her back door.

Her parents turned to each other excitedly, both aware of the trouble their daughter was having falling into her normal life since they moved to Hiddenville. "Well, stay out as late as you want! Don't be afraid to let loose!" Markus said happily to his daughter.

Olivia pressed her lips together giving her parents a weird look. "Okay... I'm going now. You guys have fun," With one last goodbye to her parents, she headed out the backdoor.

Being neighbors with the Thunderman family it didn't take long for her to reach their backdoor. In fact, all Olivia had to do was walk around her garage fence to get to it.

Though before she entered her face scrunched up in confusion seeing the wilted flowers right by their backdoor. With a wave of her hand, the flowers returned to their full bloom state making the girl smile before entering the house.

"Hello, Thunderfam," Olivia shouted as she entered alerting the group that stood in the living room of her presence. "You really need to take care of those flowers outback," She pointed as she made herself at home.

It was easy for the superhero girl to make herself at home here. Not only were they longtime family friends but being superheroes too meant no one ever had to hide there. Something both Olivia and the Thunderman kids were happy about, at least one other person they could be themselves around.

Barb Thunderman, who looked as dressed up as her mother had turned to the girl. "I supposed you still took care of them huh?"

Olivia shrugged, "I couldn't help myself,"

"Phoebe! Flower Power is here!" Max Thunderman yelled up to his sister. Olivia glared at the wannabe supervillain.

It's not that she and Max didn't get along, in fact when they were younger they got along pretty well but once Max decided he wanted to go down the path of becoming a supervillain he had taken it upon himself to become even more of a nuisance to everyone. Pair that with puberty and he was a real thorn in her side sometimes.

"Where are you going?" Nora Thunderman, the youngest of the four asked her mom.

"I am taking your mom out to dinner," Hank Thunderman answered.

"So, Max, Phoebe, and now Olivia, are babysitting you," Barb said to the two youngest. It was no surprise that since their parents were all best friends growing up they just accepted their kids, even if it was an annoyance to their kids. "They're really looking forward to it,"

"Really? Because I didn't know until about two seconds ago I was doing this," Olivia told the two adults.

Phoebe had the same thought as Olivia came down the stairs grabbing her friend's arm. "Don't touch your armpits. Don't laser your brother. Don't take over the world. Don't have more children. Goodnight everybody!" She said pointing to each of her siblings and her parents as she dragged Olivia to the door.

Before the two girls could make their getaway Barb used her electricity to shut the door making them step back from the door to avoid getting electrocuted.

"Wow mom, you still got it," Phoebe said.

"Where are you guys going?" Barb asked the two. "Phoebe, I need you and Max to babysit tonight,"

"What?" The twins asked their mom and Olivia was just happy to be put out of this equation this time.

Phoebe sat her bag down, approaching her mom. "Mom, we were going to Cherry's tonight," Phoebe gestured to her and Olivia.

"Yeah, and I was gonna not babysit," Max said.

"Well now, you're not not babysitting," The teens looked at her confused. "Wait— Yeah, that's right," Barb and Hank made their way to the kitchen.

"Well, can't the Greenedge's watch Billy and Nora," Phoebe suggested also turning to Olivia with a hopeful look.

"It's date night for them too," Olivia shrugged.

"Okay, how about another neighbor?" Phoebe added hopefully.

"And risk the kids exposing their powers to a non-superhero?" Hank questioned.

Phoebe scoffed. "They won't. They're really responsible now," The group looked to Billy and Nora, who were playing their favorite game of what they called laser tag.

Though, unlike the regular laser tag, this game just included Nora shooting lasers out of her eyes and Billy jumping in pain. The Thundermans just looked to their kids.

"Please mom, Cherry is the only normal friend I've managed to make since we've moved here," Phoebe pleaded.

"That's one more than I thought she'd make, she got lucky with Olivia," Max muttered sarcastically.

"I'm sorry, honey, but your father and I gave up crime-fighting so you kids could have a normal childhood," Barb told her daughter.

Hank nodded. "That's right, which is too bad, 'cause I still got it!" He flexed his muscles.

"Yeah, and a little extra," Barb hugged her husband before grabbing her purse.

"This is the worst," Phoebe sighed. "You know sometimes I wish we didn't even have superpowers," She pouted.

"I'm sorry, Phoebe," Barb kissed her head. "Come on, Hank,"

"To the Thunder-Mobile!" Hank shouted.

"Minivan," Barb corrected.

"To the Thunder-Minivan!" He shouted. With that, they were out the backdoor leaving their children to sulk.

Olivia played with her fingers for a second before letting out a low whistle. "Well, I don't actually have to stay here and babysit Zippy and Zappy sooo..."

Phoebe let out a groan. "And now my only superhero best friend doesn't wanna be around me,"

Olivia held up her hands in defense, "Nope, no, I'll stay," She said quickly to her fragile friend.

It was Max's turn to groan as he made his way to the living room. Olivia paid him no mind as she made her way next to sit next to Phoebe.

Olivia nudged her shoulder. "Come on, we can still have a girl's night," She suggested. Phoebe still sad nodded before the two got up to make their way to the living room.

Max stopped the two. "Phoebe, Olivia, you guys deserve a girl's night, so why don't I babysit Billy and Nora while you guys invite your friend over here?"

"Are you nuts? What about dad's number one rule?" Phoebe asked.

"Everything goes better with gravy?" Max asked confusedly.

"No non-supes in the house." She corrected. "I'm calling Cherry to cancel," Phoebe said taking out her phone.

Max nodded. "You're right, of course, she'll probably find new best friends." He tried to persuade Pheobe. Once he saw she was ignoring him he tried again. "And you and Olivia will never have that cute trio you've always wanted,"

That got to Phoebe. "Wait!" She yelled turning to her sibling. "You guys promise that if Cherry comes, you won't use your powers?"

Billy and Nora stood up. "Of course not," They both agreed until Nora zapped Billy again making him jump. Phoebe looked to her siblings.

"She's not here yet," Nora told her.

Phoebe looked to them and then to Olivia before sighing. "Okay... I'll do it,"

"Great, let's text her," Max used his telekinesis to grab Phoebe's phone and begin typing. "Sup girl? Pheebs here," He mocked.

"You're texting as me?" Phoebe said going to look over his shoulder.

"Totes obvi we should hang at my crib. Livvy is coming too. See you at 7. As if." Max continued to text as Phoebe. "Smiley face with a party hat," He smiled before pressing send.

"Darn it, that is exactly what I would've written," Phoebe said taking back her phone and sitting on her couch.

"All right guys, to the Max lair!" Max shouted. Olivia held her hand out to stop him.

"What exactly are you up to?" Olivia squinted at him.

Max shrugged innocently. "Just want you to have a fun girl's night Livvy," He mocked before pushing past her to go to his room. Olivia rolled her eyes before sitting down next to Phoebe.

"Glad we got rid of the boy germs. Am I right Pheebs? Livvy?" Nora said from behind the couch once her brothers were out of the room. The two older girls raised their eyebrows giving her an unamused look. "Yeah, I'll just go," Nora nodded before heading down the slide.

𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 had blown up for the time that Max had had Billy and Nora in his room Olivia had decided to entertain the thought of a girl's night at the Thundermans. Though she still didn't think Max wasn't up to something, whatever he was up to hadn't gone wrong and she couldn't stop the little bit of excitement inside her.

The Thunder monitor popped up letting the two girls know that Cherry was approaching just before Cherry rang the doorbell. Phoebe and Olivia sat down the bowls of snacks in their hands on the coffee table before they made their way to the door.

"Sorry mom and dad but I need a life," Phoebe said before pressing the tray on their penguin statute to change their family picture of them in their superhero outfits to a more normal one of them.

Phoebe stood by Olivia with a smile before opening the door. Cherry stood before them as she giggled hugging both of them. "Hi Pheebs, Livvy," The girls giggled. "Triple selfie," Cherry held up her phone and the girls posed before the two let Cherry into the Thunderman residence.

"Oh, my gosh. This place is bonkers," Cherry said looking around the living room. "How have I never been here before?"

"I don't know. I mean it's not like I'm hiding anything," Phoebe said.

"I've never been to your place either Liv," Cherry pointed out.

Olivia's eyes went wide. "We can go there another time. I'm not hiding anything either," Olivia said quickly with a smile.

Cherry smiled at the two. "Well, of course not. We're best friends," She told the two.

"We are?" Phoebe asked excitedly.

"Duh! Speaking of which, who is ready for the most cray-mazing girls' night ever?" Cherry asked the two.

"Talk to me!" Phoebe answered.

"First, we update out triple selfies," Cherry held up her phone and the girls posed again taking a picture before she reached into her bag. "Then, we rock to the new Dance Your Thang Off video game. Rated 'F' for 'funky'"

Cherry began dancing and Olivia laughed as Phoebe danced with her. The two girls paused looking at Olivia, she rolled her eyes before joining them the three girls having a dance circle in the living room. The girls stopped to laugh with each other.

"And it all starts.... now," Cherry said placing her bag down. Unknowingly she had placed her bag down on the penguin statute making the Thundermans picture change back to their superhero family portrait.

Olivia and Phoebe looked at each other with wide eyes. Phoebe quickly moved to press on the statute again to change the picture making Cherry question her.

"Why'd you do that?" She asked her friend.

"Do what?" Phoebe asked.

"This," Cherry pressed on the statute again changing the picture back.

"I didn't do this," Phoebe said changing the picture back to their normal one.

"Yeah, you did this," Cherry said changing the picture.

"I think I would remember if I did this," Phoebe changed the picture back to normal.

Getting tired of the back and forth Olivia clapped her hands together. "Hey, you know what we should do? Make brownies! Come on guys let's go!" Olivia said way too excitedly as she grabbed Cherry's wrist and pulled her to the kitchen.

Phoebe sent her a thankful look as they made their way to the kitchen and the girls pulled out the supplies they would need for brownies. It didn't take long for Cherry to get distracted forgetting all about the weird living room incident.

The blonde girl made herself comfortable as she sat on the counter stirring the second brownie mix. Olivia had finished stirring hers and was now sitting with the spoon in hand licking off the leftover mix every now and then.

"So, Liv you first, who do you have a crush on?" Cherry suddenly asked making Olivia sit up straighter.

Olivia raised her eyebrows. "Me? No one," Olivia shook her head with a smile. The thought of having a crush on a normal boy was too crazy and complicated to even think about being a possibility.

Cherry pouted. "Come on, no one?" Olivia shook her head. "Fine, but one day you will and I better be the first person you tell," Olivia held up her pinky as an indication she was making that promise.

Cherry did the same before turning to Pheobe. "Okay, now you lady, I know you have a crush,"

Phoebe waved her hand with a scoff. "Come on, there's no one really special—"

"Cole Campbell," Cherry and Olivia said at the same time.

"Sweet cheese, yes!" Phoebe said before she sighed dreamily.

Cherry set down the bowl in her hand. "You should totally call him," Cherry said. Olivia pointed at Cherry excitedly before waving her hand signaling Cherry to make her way to her.

"You guys know I'm too shy for that," Phoebe said. Cherry, following Olivia's signal, picked up her phone off the counter making her way to where Olivia sat.

"Which is why we're the perfect best friends," Cherry said as she and Olivia huddled together.

"Guys, what are you doing?" Phoebe asked the girls. "Don't look up his number. Don't you call it. Don't you let it ring. Don't you hand that phone— Hey Cole!" Phoebe changed her scared tone as Cherry shoved the phone in her hand.

Cherry and Olivia laughed as Phoebe threw her dish towel at them as she talked to Cole.

"It's Phoebe.... Thunderman. From homeroom?" She said nervously. Olivia picked up the spoon again enjoying her snack and a show. "I was just calling—"

"To see if you wanna hang out sometime!" Cherry yelled at the phone. Olivia laughed again holding her hand up for a high-five.

Phoebe gasped turning to Cherry. "I can't believe you," Her angry face changed into one of shock as Cole answered. "You would? Yeah, next week's great. Okay, bye," She sighed dreamily before turning to the two girls.

"He is so cute," Phoebe gushed.

"Yeah, you might wanna hang that up," Cherry told her. Phoebe sheepishly hung up the phone before giggling again.

Cherry turned to Olivia. "That could be you one day!" She said.

"Oh no," Olivia joked with a laugh. Their laughter was disrupted by the sound of Billy and Nora running up the stairs.

"Give it back!" Nora shouted.

"No!" Billy answered. The three girls moved to the living room to see what the commotion was about.

"What's going on here?" Phoebe asked the two. The kids continued to argue ignoring their older sister.

"You want it? Here!" Billy shouted before using whatever gadget on Nora. The girl guarded herself with a pillow.

"Missed me!" Nora mocked him.

"You guys, stop it right now!" Phoebe tried again. She was ignored as the two began fighting over the gadget. The girls ducked down to avoid the zapping.

"That's it," Phoebe said angrily before using her telekinesis to lift the two off the ground finally stopping them from fighting.

"Oh.. my...wow," Olivia and Phoebe's mouths dropped as if they both remembered Cherry was still present. The two girls turned to her with wide eyes.

Max ran up from his room to assess the scene. "So, this is fun," He couldn't help but comment.
