Subha went silent throughout the day , she wanted to speak, she wanted to be normal but something inside her was restricting herself from doing so. She sat on the bed, her head leaning towards the headboard. She closed her eyes rewinding the incident that happened just before.

" What's wrong with me? Why is this feeling swallowing me up? " She muttered covering her face with her hands.  A sudden pain rushed over her body like anything making her jump out of the bed  in a jerk.

" Bhai!", She whispered impatiently taking the phone and dialed his number. The phone ringed in the same pace as her heart, " Hey Sweety! What's it?", Krish's voice  made her soul soothe .

" I missed your voice!", Subha's eyes brimmed up with tears.

On the other end Parth's mind was fully engrossed on that one name.
" Subhadra!", A smile automatically bloomed on his face whenever he spelled it. He never noticed his heartbeats to be beautiful before.  He took a pillow and hugged it tightly to his heart whispering the name again. " I know it's her!", He snuggled closer imagining Subha.

" Bhai!", Nikhil's voice breaked his thoughts. Parth raised his eyebrows in answer.

" See One is smiling sitting here and the other one is weeping sitting over there. She haven't spoken a word to me. Don't you think you should ask for an apology?", Nikhil folded his hands staring at Parth.

" Subha!", He whispered waking upto reality remembering the incident.
" Let me go!", He left Nikhil behind and headed towards Subha's room.

The door was partially opened, he peeped in to see her drowned in her own world. He slightly knocked on  the door making her come out from her thoughts. Her gaze was soft and sweet, making him fall harder. She smiled  gesturing him to enter.

" Subha!", He sat opposite of her on the chair . " Were you crying? I'm so sorry for what just happened before. It's completely my fault!", He blamed himself for making her cry. Unable to bear her intense gaze at him, he slowly cast his eyes down .

" Parth!", She made him look at her.
" It's true, I cried but it wasn't your fault in anyway. So stop accusing yourself for something you didn't ", Their eyes flashed at each other knowing the fact that the feelings  they possess aren't lies.

" So what made you quiet?", He asked to know the reason behind her fret. She lowered her head as a response, She wanted to speak her heart out but what to say? The question bothered her. The answer to his queries was still an unknown fact to her.

" I miss home! My brothers!", She struggled for an answer. Parth hummed even though he knew it was a lie. " Shall I call Krish? You want to go home?", He asked taking his phone out even if he didn't want her to leave.
Subha shook her head immediately as a no" it's okay Parth! I'm fine. I did call him ", she replied with a small smile.

" So what about an outing? That may help you out ! I'll tell Karan and Vishaka to join us ", he suggested in a hope to change her mood.
"Alright!", She nodded. Parth smiled and went to his room to get ready.

After getting ready, Parth sat on his bike followed by Subha, " Where are you guys going?", Nikhil showed up with a half applied face mask that was nearly dripping from his face. Subha covered her face on Parth's shoulder inorder to hide her laugh.

" For a Date! Do you wish to join?", asked Parth flipping his hair with a wide smile glancing at Subha who was still trying to suppress her laugh. " Eww!", Nikhil passed a disgusting look and continued applying the balance face mask. " Fine!", Parth starts off the bike bidding him bye along with Subha.

But this time it was her who was secretly observing him through the bike mirror. She had feelings for him, which she wished to express but the voices inside her head made her hush.
"The way he smiles ", she adored getting lost in him again .

Parth noticed Subha's continuous staring , "I know I'm handsome Su that's why you are unable to take your eyes off me!  But if you wish, I'll permit you to stare at me like this forever", he said with a happy smile side glancing at her.

Subha quickly took her eyes off  him with embarrassment  , " Who told you that I was staring at you? I was just checking on myself!", She said wandering her eyes over corners of the streets.
Parth smirked at her answer . His soul lit up seeing the change in her.

" Why are you smiling like an idiot? I know some of the best psychiatrist here. If you want I'll accompany you", she asked in a teasing tone.
" Oh really!  As you are their main client , you'll surely know many of them ", Parth hit back with the same tone making her glare at him.

They stopped near the park which was halfly loaded with people ambling here and there. At a distance they saw Karan and Vishaka sitting on the park bench waiting for them.
As soon as they reached near the bench Karan dragged Parth to a side,
" What's the matter? Why did you call us so sudden?", Karan questioned  impatiently like a kid.

" It's because Subha...", Before Parth could complete his words Karan interrupted him with a smile" Did she rejected your proposal?".
" Karan!", Parth frowned at Karan who was laughing hard. Karan controlled himself and signalled him to continue.

" She was a little homesick, so I just thought to take her out. I called you guys for giving a company as I don't want her to feel awkward ", he said with a emotionless face glaring at Karan.

" Alright! That means you haven't proposed to her yet! She's staying at your place and till you didn't utilise the opportunity? What a shame dude?", Karan sighed hitting his forehead making Parth smile sheepishly.
Subha and Vishaka glanced at the duo who were busy discussing something .
" Karan! Parth! Enough of the discussion! Now come here", vishakha called out.  They dropped their talks and went to the ladies  who were waiting for them for long.

They all sat on the bench chatting with each other, but between the talks and laughs they noticed a little boy being humiliated by an elderly man in the name of his caste as he touched him accidentally.

" Do this discrimination still exists in our country?", Vishaka said and noticed the sudden change in karan's face.
