I was at the school of course because it was a weekday, Max had to go to the nurse's office because had a headache so we said we would meet at the middle table in the cafeteria so we could eat, and on the way, there was a group of popular boys, jocks. I can't stand them, being so rude to people they don't even know. Like usual I just ignore everybody and talk to Max. As soon as I sat down I noticed that there was a strange loudness of boys. They were yelling something towards, but they were at the table right next to me, which I wish was further away, then they came closer to me and they repeated themselves.

"Are you a magician? Because whenever I look at you, everyone else disappears!

I'm not a photographer, but I can picture me and you together!

Are you an interior decorator? Because when I saw you, the entire room became beautiful!

Did you sit in a pile of sugar? Cause you have a pretty sweet ass!

Do you have a Band-Aid? Because I just scraped my knee falling for you!

Do you know what my shirt is made of? Boyfriend material!

If I were a stop light, I'd turn red every time you passed by, just so I could stare at you a bit longer!

If you were a vegetable you'd be a cute-cumber!" The Group of boys said one by one they said the dumbest pickup lines, I once just ignored them because I thought they were talking to someone else at the table.Then one said my name I looked up politely at the group crumble together.

"We're talking to you, why are you ignoring these fabulous comments towards? Anyone of us could be your boyfriend why did you pick that loser, what's his name.. Maxine?"One said to me, I smiled at him.

"Well, I'm ignoring you because you are an a**hole, two If you say one more negative about Max you all will regret it, okay," I said standing up still smiling at him.

"What if we do, what's going to happen, huh?" Another one said.

"It wasn't a question," I said grabbing my stuff getting ready to leave to find Max until I felt someone grab my shoulder pulling me to the ground. They were in a circle around me, I pick up my books and put them on the table, a say a fit come towards me and everything when black. The next thing I knew all the boys were on the floor bleeding from their noses, my hand is throbbing, I grab my books off of the table and head to the principal's office. I get some ice and put it on my fist, doing this I wonder where is Max, The principle calls me in, we told he wasn't going to suspend me but the boys because H put security cameras in the cafeteria, I thought they didn't work anybody did, plus students caught everything on camera from the very very beginning. I still confused I did something crazy like I decided to go home and go to sleep.

When I got home Max was on the couch fast asleep with his phone in his hand. I get dressed and get Max into bed, I did the same myself. Wondering Why this happened to me.
