It's a few weeks from graduation, today I have a doctors appointment, which Max wants to come for support. We are just sitting there talking about how long we've been together then I get called in, Max comes in with me. I sit on the table/chair when the nurse comes in with some more paperwork and a needle to take some blood. When she sticks the needle in I see Max's face turn green.

"Do you like needles or blood?" I ask him, he shakes his head. "Well, I've been doing this for years and years. Because of cancer and the allergies which are happily going away."

"I didn't know you had allergies.." He said confusingly.

"Yeah, I know... Oh, I need you to drive us home." I said, he replied with an 'okay' as the doctor came in, I tell the doctor what has happened and what Christian told me, which I know wasn't true.  She shows me some documents and x-rays proving that I didn't have it anymore. I broke into tears, I don't know how I felt besides of some relief, I still know that there is some risk of getting it again, though. She gave me the (cancer free) shot and two others which I always have a reaction to. After getting banged up and checked out, I gave max the happiest kiss ever but it was weak.

"Are you okay..?" He says standing me up straight again.

"Yeah... I just need to go home.." I say dizzy walking out the door. On the car drive back I dozed off, the next thing I remember was waking up in bed feeling like I was going to throw up. I roll over to Max smiling.

"Wakie wakie, it's nice to see your beautiful black eyes again."  He says.

"How long was I out..?" I ask.

" 8 hours, it's 6 pm." He says.

"I'm sorry, for not telling you about my allergies, I didn't think it was too important.." I say sitting up.

"It's alright, but I could have killed you or something... I don't wanna lose you." He says scutching out the way, but I wrap my arms around his neck.

"You won't lose, or kill me," I say kissing him smiling, bringing him back down onto of me kissing.

"Somebody's happy." He says I nod continuing to kiss him. After our small make out session we get up and eat dinner. The next morning was Saturday, I woke up to Max looking up to something on my computer.

"Morning baby," I say stretching, I crawl to him at the bottom of the bed.

"Morning, let's eat I have a surprise for you today." He says closing the computer and gets up holding my hand. I nod and eat, he told me to wear good clothes like a dress or something. So I put on a black dress that goes to my knee with a pair of black flats. He put on a black suit with a dark purple tie.

"Where are we going?" I ask getting in the car. He kisses me and says 'to the movies.' We watch a comedy/romantic movie and then we go to dinner, a fancy but modern place. We both ordered croissants and Chicken Tikka Masala which was a fantastic meal.

"What is all this for?" I ask taking a sip of water.  I see him get down on his knee like he was going to propose to me, my heart started to race a bit but I was more confused.  He pulls out a jewelry box and says.

"Starline, we have spent months together, happily together but I never did anything properly. So, Starline will you be my girlfriend?" He asks with a huge smile and red cheeks. He opens the jewelry box and it has a beautiful diamond necklace. I'm stunned at the sight of him and people looking at us.

"Yes, yes," I say with a big smile, he gets up and gives me the most romantic kiss. Everyone around us applauds and congratulated us. We finish our meal with a chocolate and vanilla milkshake, which we shared. We when home and talked about some stuff about us.

"Are really okay sleeping in the same bed? I remember what you said to my father.." He interrupted me with a 'Yes, I would never break my word.' We continue with our conversation changing the subject. He unzips the dress so I can change in the other room like usual. We once again fall asleep watching television in the living room. I love my life, I would want it to change.
