Weeks and weeks have passed doing work and school, I haven't been close to anyone anymore, I've been extremely distant and shy. I felt like I was individually being squashed like a bug, I crawled out from my nest and get killed. The great thing about that is the independence of one, and I'm not going to have that taken away by anyone. In a few days was Easter Sunday, and that Monday was the start of my break which was 2 weeks. Today was Wednesday, four days before Easter and I got a newsletter stating that there is a school dance Saturday. I plan to stay home the day of the dance until an unavailable number called my phone.

I don't answer unavailable number because they are usually swindles, but this pacific unavailable called a good 10 times so I answered the phone.

" Hello, may I please speak to Starline?" A young man/ older teen said shyly with a small French accent.

"Who may I ask is calling?" I said kind of forwardly.

"This is Max... Max King, I'm in a couple of your classes in school..." he said, I go downstairs to my bookshelf with all of my yearbooks on it and I take one out from last year I go to my class and look him up, I do recognize him but we never really talked before.

"Sorry about that, yes this is Stirline," I say putting it back.

" I just wanted to know if you wanted to go to the Easter Dance with me, I understand if you don't want to go, I bet you already have a date... sorry..." he says while quieting down.

"No I don't have a date yet I wasn't on planning to go... But I have a question for you, why do you want to go out with me?" I said kind of shyly also, like what's the point we talked before but I barely know him, I don't want something else ruined.

" Because I think you are a beautiful, young, respectful woman, and lately you have been looking a bit down at school and I would like to cheer you up or at least give it a try." he says.

" Is it that noticeable? I am just going through some things now, but yes I will go to the dance with you" I say smiling, I feel like I'm blushing also weird...

" Okay, embarrassing but I have another question... Do you want to study for the test tomorrow?"

" oh?!? there's a test tomorrow?!?" I say looking at my phone at my reminders looking at the test reminder. " It totally slipped my mind, thank you for reminding me... Yes, I would like to study for the test do you think you could come over I only have my math and geography books?" I ask holding my face.

"Yeah, where do you live?" he asks I was supersized he didn't know, I heard a beep beep in my ear and my phone was dying.

" I will text you my address because my phone is dying okay Max?" I say quickly running upstairs.

"okay by, it's," he said happily, and my phone shut off I dug in my purse looking or my charger and I found it quickly plugged it in. After 2 minutes my phone turned back on and I looked at my recent and it said unlivable, I started to put until my phone buzzed like a text and I got a message saying.

"Hello, sorry about the unlivable but this is my cellphone's Max." I quickly responded and gave him my address and had another small conversation as I cleaned the small apartment I now have.

An hour later Max arrived at my place with some take out Chinese food and books. He looked different from the picture from last year, he has Black glasses like my reading ones and has nice black hair but a lovely French accent. He apologized few times for the accent which was cute, to me I don't understand why someone like him should be sitting in the back of the class he looks really popular. But the night when on with us eating, studying, and having fun, which I haven't had in a long time.

" Okay one last question which part of the brain detects the amount of CO2 in the blood?" he asks me as if it's a trick question.

"Easy it's the Medulla oblongata," I say with a smile, he smiles back. He closes the books and puts it off to the side.

" I never knew studying could be so fun and filling," I say putting my hand on my stomach.

" Me either, we should do this again sometime..." he says blushing.

" Well, next week is the start of break... maybe we could like to catch the movies or something," I say getting up to throw the empty cartons away.

" Yeah, sounds fun." he replies with a huge smile. " well it's getting late I guess I should go..." he adds on.

" You don't have to, I could throw in a movie or something..." I say looking at him, he nods and puts his books in his bag and sits on the couch. "well, what would you like to watch?" I say as he sits.

"Surprise me." he says, I go over to my huge bookcase of movies and films and picks three.

"one two or three? pick one" I say hiding the movies so he doesn't see.

"Two" he replies chuckling playfully, I put in Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, and I sit on the couch with him. "Don't you think this is a bad movie in your case...?" I shake my head getting comfortable, as we watch the movie he puts his arm around me friendly and I gently head on his shoulder and accidentally dozes off.
