Chapter 14
Hi ya all!
I had my convocation yesterday and now I am officially a graduate! This feels so nice, even though I have another 1 and half years to suffer. Anyways, it's time to bring Asher back!
Yes it is!
Enjoy

TJ was excited, so excited that she woke up at 4 am in the morning even after sleeping after 12 at night. She scurried out of the room without making any noise and went towards the study where Amaya had kept the book.
TJ opened the door quietly and switched on the lights, and went towards the study table, sitting there in front of the book and sighed.
She opened the book and went through the contents, and turned pages as she scanned through the book, gaining all the knowledge she could gather.
"Why the hell are you awake this early?" Asher asked in his groggy, just-woke-up voice in her head which TJ found extremely sexy.
"I woke up and couldn't sleep again, so I decided to find a way to get you out as soon as I can," TJ said with excitement.
"You are crazy," Asher said, and TJ could hear the smile in his tone.
"Crazy for you," TJ said softly, "Go sleep, let me read," TJ told Asher.
"Yeah, okay. I'm too sleepy to even argue," Asher said followed by a yawn. After that, she heard nothing, and TJ knew Asher was asleep.
As she read, TJ found out that she could open portals anywhere something can go through, which meant she could even go to Mars without a space shuttle. This was cool.
TJ read that to go to a place she has never been to, or she wanted to open a portal to go to a specific person, all she had to do was imagine. Finally, TJ thought, she could go to Hollywood, or better, in Kit Harrington's trailer or maybe Daniel Radcliff's. Oh shit! TJ thought, she could actually meet Benedict Cumberbatch!
Her powers were cooler than she thought. Asher was right. TJ sighed, she wasn't even through half of the book and she thought she knew everything.
"I never thought I would see you here at 5:30 in the morning," Someone said and turned around to see Dean leaning against the door frame with an amused smile on his face.
"Good morning to you too, Dean," TJ said sarcastically and looked at Dean who walked towards her. Dean settled on the chair next to her.
"What are you doing?" Dean asked eyeing the book on the table.
"Skateboarding, obviously," TJ said rolling her eyes playfully and Dean shook his head, a smile dancing on his lips.
"Can't you reply without sarcasm?" Dean asked her.
"Nopes, sarcasm is my middle name," TJ said and Dean chuckled.
"So it's Tiffany Sarcasm von Stein?" Dean asked with an amused expression.
"Ugh, it's better than Josephine," TJ said which caught Dean's attention.
"Tiffany Josephine von Stein?" Dean asked and TJ nodded and rolled her eyes, "It sounds..." Dean was saying.
"Hideous?" TJ offered and Dean shook his head, "Ugly? Terrible?" TJ offered again, and Dean laughed.
"Familiar, but no it's elegant," Dean said and TJ groaned banging her head on the table.
"That's why I like being called TJ, my name screams elegance and sophistication. If any of my schoolmates ever found out, they'll die laughing," TJ told Dean.
"What's so bad in the name?" Dean asked curiously.
"Seriously? You're asking me that?" TJ questioned and Dean nodded, "For the starters look at me," TJ said gesturing herself and she saw Dean checking her out, and she blushed and hit his arm.
"Ow. You hit like a man!" Dean complained and TJ smirked.
"Did you hear what you said? I hit like a man," TJ said and Dean quirked up his eyebrow, rubbing his arm. "Look I have always been one of the guys. Nat or Natalino was my best friend since we were toddlers. Once I broke my hand when I was 5, and Nat couldn't play with me during that time. So Nat found more friends and they were all boys. When I recovered, Nat took me to play with his friends," TJ smiled at the memory.
"I remember I was wearing this frilly red dress, and Nat took me to meet his friends. Those boys were nice to me, of course, they would, I was Nat's friend. They were going to play soccer so they asked me if I wanted to play. I saw the game once or twice with my father so I said I would," TJ told him.
"What happened then?" Dean asked.
"Let's say that I came home with my clothes ripped, and muddy head to toe. Mother almost fainted but I was grinning like an idiot. I loved playing soccer with my new friends. That day when my mother called me Tiffany, I cried and said my name is TJ. Tiffany Josephine was a mouthful for 5 years old so they called me TJ, and I loved that name. It was in middle school when I started noticing that girls of my age liked makeup and talked about boys. I wasn't sure what I should do. I asked Nat who said that I didn't have to be like other girls. And so did my other friends, so I stayed this way. It was Asher because of whom I wore a dress for the first time. Not that he asked me to, he said he liked my ripped jeans and leather jacket. We used to match, Nat even said once that we were couple goals, and I scowled at him that he had to run away. I wore a dress because there was a party which had this formal code, but I wasn't elegant like others. I was never elegant or graceful," TJ told Dean.
"Well, I think that you don't have to be elegant to suit your name. You create your own identity, that's what my grandfather told me," Dean told TJ who smiled at him.
"Thanks, your grandpa must have been cool," TJ said and Dean nodded with a fond smile on his face.
"Yeah, he was. I still miss him a lot," Dean said, the smile not even fluctuating from his lips, and TJ smiled widely at that.
"You know why I want to bring back Asher so bad?" TJ asked Dean.
"Because you feel guilty?" Dean asked and TJ nodded.
"That is a reason, but the main reason is because I saw what Asher's absence did to his father. I feel guilty of the fact that it was me who separated Asher from his father. I wish I could go back in time, and stop Asher from coming behind me to the arena. I wish I didn't tell him to prove his love, that ways Asher would have been safe maybe with another girl on his arm," TJ said sadly.
"You said Asher cheated on you, that's why you broke up. Did he really cheat on you?" Dean asked and TJ shook her head.
"No. It was two weeks after Asher's assumed death when I heard girls talking about a dare. How, they felt guilty that it was because of them Asher, and I broke up and I killed him. I was so furious I almost broke the girl's nose but Nat stopped me. I cried for days, I couldn't help but feel that I killed him," TJ told Dean. To her surprise, Dean kept his hand on her's and smiled at her.
"Now you know that you saved him, so cheer up, and let's find a way to get your Asher back," Dean said and TJ smiled and nodded with excitement as she shifted the book towards Dean so he could read too.
It was around 7 in the morning when they both decided to continue this later and get ready for school. TJ didn't want to go but Calista told them they had to attend the school, and she won't cover for them.
Throughout the day, TJ's mind went back to what she read in the book, and what she could find. As soon as school ended TJ made a portal, and went to her room with Amaya and sat on her table, and started reading the book from where she left in the morning.
"Give yourself a break," Amaya said lying on her back on the bed.
"I will once I bring Asher back," TJ said.
"You know, I can't wait to meet Asher. Does he know me?" Amaya asked.
"He practically lives here Amy, of course, he knows you. He even told me he likes you," TJ told Amaya.
"He lives here? Is he here?" Amaya asked with worry and TJ looked at her with confusion.
"No. He doesn't appear unless it's necessary, don't worry he doesn't care about your way of living or manners. He likes the person for how the person is, and you my friend are an amazing person. It's hard not to like you," TJ told her friend.
"Aww, TJ," Amaya said placing her hand on her heart, "That is the sweetest thing I have ever heard," Amaya said and TJ quirked an eyebrow at her.
"Really? How about, 'I won't let anything bad happen to you'?" TJ said in a manly voice, and Amaya turned red, "Or maybe 'Show your magic, Maya'?" TJ said impersonating Dean, and her friend blushed in the shade of a ripe tomato.
"Shut up!" Amaya exclaimed as she used a pillow to cover her face.
"Oh really, Miss I'm-red-as-a-ripe-tomato?" TJ asked her with an amused smirk.
"I don't like Dean," Amaya said and looked away.
"Who said anything about liking Dean?" TJ's smirk grew wider and Amaya looked at her with her mouth wide open.
She closed her mouth and then opened again but nothing came out and she closed her mouth again.
"First a tomato, now a fish. What's up with you...Maya?" TJ asked with an amused smirk, and Amaya groaned and hid her face in her pillow.
"So...for how long have you liked him?" TJ asked her friend. This was very amusing.
"I don't like him," Amaya said in a muffled voice.
"Yeah and pigs fly," TJ rolled her eyes. "Come on, tell me," TJ asked walking to Amaya's bed and sitting beside her.
"I know Dean since I was 7, and he was 10. But this happened last year when he held me as I cried after an overwhelming show of my powers," Amaya said, finally looking up and TJ urged her to continue. "I was trying to make a crowd sad and it took a toll on me and as only a few people from them looked, it was me who was crying like a mad woman. Dean came to me even after knowing how strong the effects could be and it could result for him to cry too. He came to me, wrapped his arms around me until I stopped crying. After he dropped me off to my room, I couldn't help but feel giddy around him," Amaya told her and TJ grinned. Another matchmaking.
"That's really considerate of him. And I think he likes you too," TJ told her and Amaya shook her head.
"He doesn't like me TJ, I know emotions. He's just being a good friend. He doesn't like me more than a friend," Amaya said sadly and TJ furrowed her eyebrows.
"What are you talking about? He's laughing all the time he's with you, you both make a great team and from the way you bicker. Amy, he likes you!" TJ said with confidence.
"You are wrong TJ, you're so naïve sometimes I wonder why they call you badass, but it has nothing to do with your unobservantness," Amaya said and TJ was taken aback by her statement.
"Unobervantness is not even a word. Wait...What do you mean? " TJ asked.
"You know nothing, von Stein," Amaya said imitating Ygritte from Game of Thrones, confusing TJ more.
"Whatever Amy, you want to help me find something in the book?" TJ asked Amaya who shook her head.
"I am sorry TJ but I hate books, and I'm too sleepy. You should sleep too," Amaya told her friend.
"I will but once I find how to get Asher out," TJ told her again.
"You really love him," Amaya observed and TJ smiled.
"Yeah, I do. God knows I do. I love him so much it hurts. I know how I lived without him for a year," TJ told her friend.
"I can see that. Your eyes light up when you talk about Asher, even if it's sad. There is a gleam in your eyes and that's the reason why want to meet Asher," Amaya said excitedly.
"Let's find a way to get him back then!" TJ said and the two girls laughed and TJ went back to searching.
__
It was around 6 in the evening when TJ found something.
"Amy!" TJ shouted, waking up her roommate with a startle.
"What, what?" Amaya asked, not even fully woken up.
"I found a way," TJ said, jumping up and down.
"You did?" Amaya asked as she stood up on her bed and started jumping.
"Yes, I did. Let's go to Ms. Thorton and tell her and Dean and Raf too!" TJ said with excitement and Amaya nodded.
TJ tried to implement what she read and thought about Dean and a portal opened and Amaya and TJ entered what TJ thought was Dean's room. As they turned around Dean and Amaya screamed together.
Dean was not wearing any t-shirt and was in his shorts and a book in his hands.
TJ's mouth fell open as she took in Dean's hard abs. Damn he was sexy.
Amaya put her hands in front of her eyes as TJ shamelessly ogled her mentor.
"What the hell!" Dean asked, putting down his book and standing up from his bed. "Don't you guys know how to knock?" Dean asked crossing his muscular arms over his chest, and TJ swore she heard Amaya swoon. She would too, but she was too busy being speechless.
"Uh...I found a way," TJ said, her voice barely above a whisper. Her heart was beating hard in her chest seeing Dean's torso on full display.
She was used to guys taking off their shirts, Nat, Mark and Asher did that all the time but she had never seen Dean like this. He definitely had a better body than Asher.
"You did?" Dean asked, and TJ nodded. She was speechless and she wondered what Amaya was thinking right now. Boy, her crush would have multiplied twice or maybe thrice.
"Yeah, we should go get Rafael and go to Ms. Thorton," TJ said, her mouth dry and Dean shrugged.
"Alright let me get my shirt," Dean said and Amaya and TJ nodded their heads.
"Yeah you do that," Amaya said as TJ looked at her friend who had all the shades of red on her face.
"You guys are so weird," Dean said walking part the girls and Amaya closed her eyes as he passed by her and TJ smiled. She was such a goner. "Anyways, how did you know I was in my room?" Dean asked as he shuffled through his wardrobe.
"I read this in the book. I had to think about the person I wanted to go to, and the portal takes me to them" TJ told Dean.
"That book is really useful then," Dean said as he pulled on a gray colored t-shirt and TJ and Amaya gasped as his muscles flexed as he wore his t-shirt. "Well if you both are done checking me out, then let's go?" Dean asked with an amused smirked and TJ rolled her eyes.
"Please, I have seen better," TJ lied.
"Like I believe you, there is nothing better than this?" Dean said pointing at himself and TJ scoffed.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night, Dean," TJ said rolling her eyes as she opened a portal to Rafael.
"Amaya, tell her that I am the hottest of them all," Dean said, bumping his shoulders with Amaya who looked like she would burst any second.
Instead of saying anything, Amaya went through the portal towards her brother's room.
TJ smirked at Dean who huffed and went through the portal.
TJ was glad she didn't let Dean see through her, she didn't want to give him any ideas. It was Asher she wanted, even if Dean was hotter.
"Yeah, we'll see that when I come back," Asher said in her head, and TJ snickered.
"Admit it, Ash. Dean is hotter than you. Did you see those abs? Gosh, I know why he hides it, or else the whole school would be drooling," TJ teased Asher.
"Whatever, I wonder what Amaya thought of that, the poor girl looked like she would cry," Asher said and TJ looked at Amaya who was now trying to shut off the video game Rafael was playing so he could know they were here.
"I have no idea. She is truly an expert on emotions," TJ said, and went up to the game set up and pulled the main cable.
"No!" Rafael screamed loudly and looked at TJ with anger.
"I almost won! Why would you do that?" Rafael shouted.
"Because I found out the way to bring Asher back," TJ said calmly and Rafael's expressions changed from anger to a grin.
"Why didn't you say so, let's go," Rafael said and Dean shook his head.
"And they say I have mood swings," Amaya muttered as TJ grinned and made a portal to Calista.
"I heard that!" Rafael said.
"Good," Amaya said loudly, and TJ felt her behavior weird. She wasn't playful and cheery. Did Dean shirtless affected her so much, guess she TJ had a lot of talking to do with Amaya.
The portal led to Calista's study. The headmistress was sitting on the couch, and reading what looked like official papers and looked up as the black sparkle appeared.
"Oh, what are you kids doing here at this time?" Calista asked, standing up.
"TJ found a way to get Asher back," Rafael said excitedly and Calista looked at TJ with surprise.
"Really? How," Calista asked with surprise in her voice, and TJ went to her and kept the book on the coffee table in front of the couch.
"This says that to connect or disconnect two planes, the Enchanter has to go to the other plane, and find the portal or the common connection and pull it to the other plane where the Enchanter exists, and close the portal" TJ read out.
"The common connection means Asher," Calista asked and TJ nodded.
"So you have to open a portal to the parallel plane, pull Asher to this one and close the portal?" Dean asked and TJ nodded, "This can't be this simple," Dean said as he walked towards the book and read what TJ read.
"What else does it say?" TJ asked.
"TJ, you can't do the transition from this dimension, you have to go to the human dimension, the place where you originally sent Asher from and pull him out," Dean said, not looking away from the book, "And this book says it is to be done within 30 minutes of starting the process," Dean said and TJ looked at him with confusion.
"You mean I have to back to the arena and get Asher back from there?" TJ asked and Dean nodded. "And making a portal back home, and taking Asher with me will start my half an hour?" TJ queried and Dean looked at the book and nodded.
"Well, let's go then," TJ said and Asher appeared.
"Wait!" Calista said and TJ turned to the headmistress.
"I'll come with you. Someone has to keep a check on the portal when you are in the parallel plane, and none of these children ever went to the human world," Calista said and TJ nodded. She was right, TJ might need help.
"Well, let's go home then," TJ said and Asher shook his head.
"Let's come back home then," He said and squeezed TJ's hand.
TJ opened a door-like portal to the arena, which looked empty. She guided Calista as the older lady went through the portal before TJ who held Asher's hand and went through the portal after her.
"See you soon guys!" TJ said before going in and her three friends waved her.
"Good luck," Amaya said before the portal closed, and they arrived at the Arena.
"It has been years since I was here," Calista said looking around.
"When was the last time you came?" TJ asked, and Calista shook her head.
"Head in the game, Tiffany. You have 30 minutes to bring Asher back," Calista reminded TJ who nodded.
"Come this way," Asher held TJ's hand as she held Calista's hand and Asher guided them to the place he ended up on the parallel plane.
As they reached the spot TJ felt nauseous, she could never visit this place again. They sealed the Arena and it's probably trespassing, she better be fast.
"Okay, here we go," TJ said and closed her eyes and imagined Asher, the place Asher was in and waved her hand as she felt her fingers tingle and opened her eyes to see the portal forming. The door like portal appeared and TJ sighed.
"All the best" Calista gave her an encouraging smile which TJ returned as she entered the portal.
The portal closed behind her, and TJ saw that she was in the exact copy of the dimension she came from. It was a mirror image.
"Asher?" She called as she looked around.
She found Asher in the middle of the track just like he was when the car came tumbling towards him.
"Ready to go home?" TJ asked and Asher nodded.
TJ held Asher's hands in hers as she conjured the portal back home. The door appeared and TJ tried to move but Asher didn't budge.
"Asher?" TJ looked confused.
"I am finally going to be seen, what will you tell everyone?" Asher asked TJ and she realized, he was supposed to be dead.
"I don't know Ash, we can always tell your father the truth about me," TJ offered and Asher nodded.
"Let's think about it later, I want to get out of here," Asher said and TJ held his hand tightly as she pulled him with her towards the portal.
Asher was hard to pull, he was here for so long that he almost became the part of the plane. Almost was the word, TJ will bring him back, even if it took all of her energy. She planted her feet on the ground as she pulled him. She was so close, Asher was trying too but it seemed he was being pulled back.
"We're almost there," Asher said through his gritted teeth as TJ pulled him.
TJ's foot passed through the portal as she pulled harder.
"Help!" TJ shouted as she felt Asher's hand loosened from her grip.
Suddenly TJ was held from her back as she caught Asher tightly, and pulled him out. His foot came outside and all of a sudden, Asher was pulled outside as he bumped into TJ who bumped into Calista, and they all fell down.
"Ow" TJ and Calista cried.
Asher stood up first as he helped TJ and Calista stand up.
"Are you fine?" Calista asked TJ and then looked at Asher
"Yep. But first excuse me but I have a portal to close," TJ said as she passed Calista and Asher, towards the portal.
TJ's fingers sparkled as she tried to close the portal, it was hard. She pushed more and her palms were glowing now, the portal was closing but too slow.
"How much time is left?" TJ asked.
"5 minutes," Calista said and TJ stomped her feet, and buried them into the ground as she pushed her power towards the portal.
Her whole hands were now glowing and the portal was closing. She closed her eyes and pictured the portal closed as she felt tingling throughout her body as she pushed whatever she had to close the portal.
TJ saw the black sparkle of her power around her as the portal closed faster. The hole turned smaller by every second and soon it was like a keyhole in the door, and in another moment it was gone.
TJ pulled her hands back as she sighed and stepped back to stumble and fall backward.
Before she could hit the ground, she felt two powerful pairs of hands around her who saved her and pulled her towards a hard chest.
"That was brilliant!" Asher exclaimed as he wrapped his arms around TJ.
"T...Thanks" TJ stuttered, her eyes drooping.
"She used too much energy, we have to get her out of here," It was Calista who said that.
"No, I'm fine. Let me sit down. I'll be fine," TJ argued, but her voice too weak.
"Let's take her home," Asher suggested and Calista looked worried.
"But how?" Calista asked Asher.
"Not Aldcoast, but her house, it's not far away," Asher told Calista who nodded.
"Wait, I'll help you," Calista said as Asher picked a frail partially conscious TJ.
Calista waved her hands and a dark blue-gray spark came from it, suddenly TJ's weight was as light as a feather. Calista used the wind to help Asher carry her weight.
"I...my phone...call Father" TJ said with a slur.
"Yeah, I'll do that. You keep your eyes open, Annie. Don't sleep," Asher told her as Calista took out her cellphone from TJ's pocket and TJ nodded.
"I won't sleep, 2...speed dial," TJ said with a slur as Calista dialed TJ's father.
"Theodore, it's me, Calista," Calista said as they walked out of the Arena. "Can you come towards the Arena...yes, where the accident was held...I'll tell you when we meet...yes quick! Get your car!" Calista told her father on the phone.
"He's coming, he'll meet us on the way," Calista said and Asher nodded, looking down at TJ.
"Hang in there, von Stein," Asher said softly and TJ smiled.
She liked when Asher called her by her last name, it was when he encouraged her. It was really effective; it calmed her and pumped her with confidence.
They were 2 blocks away from her home when a car pulled in front of them, and TJ's father came out of the car.
"TJ!" He sounded worried.
"I'm fine, Father. Just exhausted," TJ said weakly and her father caressed her face before running, and opening the back door for Asher and her. Asher laid TJ down on the back seat before he sat, keeping TJ's head on his lap. Calista sat on the front seat beside Theodore who drove to his house through the traffic like a mad man.
"What happened? And how can I see Asher again? No offense son," Theodore asked.
"None taken, sir. Annie just brought me back using all her energy, and really need some rest and sugar. I fear for concussions that's why I am keeping her awake," Asher told his girlfriend's father.
"Brought you back? Like from the dead? No offense again," Theodore asked and Asher smiled despite the chaos.
"No sir, from the parallel dimension. She sent me there before the car crashed my car and saved me," Asher told Theodore whose eyes went wide from the information.
"I never thought her powers would be so powerful," Theodore thought aloud and Calista nodded.
"Me too, I never thought she had powers, apparently she has two," Calista informed Theodore who parked the car in their driveway.
"Two powers? Wait till Arabella hears it," Theodore said as he helped Asher carry TJ inside.
They took her inside, and Theodore guided Asher to the guest bedroom where they had kept all the things TJ left as TJ's room was redecorated for their unborn daughter.
Asher placed an almost asleep TJ on the bed and sighed. He sat beside her, soothing her hair as she smiled at him.
"Look at you, all caring and charming," TJ joked but her voice was too weak.
"Shut up. I'll get you something to eat," Asher said and got up. Before he could go anywhere, Arabella entered the room with a glass of what looked like glucose.
"Oh, my poor baby. Here drink this, it will give you energy," Arabella said, giving the glass to Asher who sat down again as he helped TJ drinking glucose.
"Feel better?" Asher asked and TJ nodded, trying to sit back. "Thank gods," Asher sighed in relief and so did Arabella.
"How are you feeling?" Arabella asked her daughter.
"I'm fine, a bit dizzy. Thanks for the glucose," TJ thanked her mother who shook her head.
"Silly girl, I couldn't see my baby like this," Arabella said smoothening TJ's hair.
"How's Isadora?" TJ asked her mother.
"She's doing good, I went to the doctor yesterday and they said she's growing fast and healthy," Arabella said caressing her stomach, "Anyways, come here Asher, it's so good to see you here without any harm," Arabella extending her hand for Asher who took it as Arabella pulled him into a warm motherly hug.
Asher missed that, TJ was sure he missed that.
"What time is it?" TJ asked her mother.
"8 in the evening," She told her, "Why?" She asked.
"Asher's dad will be back home in half hour, we must go to him. Tell him that his son is fine. Asher needs his father as much as Aiden needs Asher," TJ said and Arabella's eyes softened at her daughter's care for Asher.
"We'll see my dad tomorrow, you should rest first," Asher told TJ.
"No, he has to know now. I saw it, Ash, you miss him and he's miserable without you. I've separated you both for too long," TJ said stubbornly and Asher knew he lost the argument.
"Alright, but no portals, we're taking the car. I'll drive," Asher said and TJ nodded.
"You just came here and now you want to go?" Arabella asked sadly.
"I'll be back, Mother. I always come back," TJ said with a smile which made her mother smile.
"Yes, you do," She caressing her daughter's cheek.
"What do you plan on telling his father?" Theodore asked as he and Calista entered the room.
"About me, I won't endanger the Enchanters, but just tell him about me, he deserves to know what kept his son away from him for so long," TJ told him.
"You're smart TJ, but telling his father about you might separate you both," Theodore warned.
"Dad would understand, he believes in magic and I'm fine. He'll believe that" Asher said with a smile making TJ smile.
"If you say so," Theodore said with a nod.
"Asher, I should tell you that you are welcome anytime you want to Aldcoast. I know what you mean to TJ, and you helped a lot to find her powers. I would really like to learn about the parallel plane if you have any time," Calista said, and Asher nodded eagerly.
"Can I come with you back to Aldcoast? I really liked it there," Asher asked and Calista nodded.
"Of course you can. Let's just take your father's consent and we'll take you with us. It would be quite an experience for someone like you...a human staying at Aldcoast," Calista told him.
"I think he would want me for some time, you can live without me for a few days, can't you, von Stein?" Asher asked TJ who scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"Pfft, that's easy," TJ lied, and Asher hid his smile as he looked away. "Let's go then?" TJ asked and everyone nodded.
Asher led TJ to the car as she sat in the passenger seat. Calista and Theodore sat in the back as Asher drove on the familiar road to his house. Asher felt good as he drove the similar path. He stopped in front of his house and saw his father's familiar car in the driveway.
He looked at TJ who smiled at him which encouraged him to get out of the car, as Theodore helped TJ who walked steadily now and ring the doorbell.
He held his breath as he heard the lock open and smiled.
"Dad,"
