Aubrey's P.O.V

"That guy has moves though." I say eating some oreos.

Damn, I really wish I had moves like that.

"I seriously can't believe how they pulled off all those fighting scenes." Mason says trying to eat out of my oreos.

"Heyyy!!! Go get yours." I say slapping off his hands.

"Alright then. Just lead me to your fridge." Mason says getting up.

"I'm starving guys. Maybe we should order a pizza or something." Ariana ssys standing up as well.

Sometimes I don't get it. Ariana is almost always hungry. She stuffs her face a lot but yet, she refuses to grow. I wonder what kind of genes is in her.

"Yeah it's not a bad idea. I think I have some cash on me." I reply walking to the kitchen as they both follow along.

"Well Ariana you can place the order, I'll pay. But since the movie is over, I suggest we chat a bit. I mean we haven't seen Mace for a while now." I say leaning on the kitchen island.

"Yeah we should. Starting with, of course, who you came with to the party and how you even knew about it." Ariana says smiling.

"Well, I actually came with one of my cousins. I knew about it because some of the seniors I know posted it on social media."

Seriously?

"Well, that wasn't the explanation I was looking for, but okay." I say with a shrug.

"So what made you and parents come back to California?" Ariana continues.

"Well nothing actually. My mom was getting home sick when we were in New York. She missed this place and everyone here, so since this is home, we decided to come back."

"So does that mean that you guys aren't gonna go back again? Like you guys will stay even up to college?" I say."

"Well I thinks so. Us moving really didn't do much for me or my family so we want to stay here and reunite with the friends we left behind." Mason says coming to join us.

"Well that's good because-"

"The king has arrived!" Jack says entering the house as I come out of the kitchen.

I really don't know how to feel being related to this guy sometimes. He could have just entered but my dude always chooses to be dramatic.

"Seriously? you could have settled for something befitting your royal peasant." I say with a bow.

Got him!

"Ha ha, not funny." Jack says disappointed.

"Actually man, it was funny." Cameron says following behind.

"Oh, hey Cameron." I say nervously.

"Hey beautiful." Cameron says with a wink.

Oh gosh, I'm turning freaking red.

"Dude, you really didn't have to lie to my cute innocent sister." Jack says with a laugh.

"Looks like they've forgotten about us." Ariana says smiling.

"Yeah they didn't even notice my presence." Mason says with a smile.

"Shut the hell up." Jack says dramatically.

"No way dude." Cameron says as they both launch on Mason.

"When did you get back?" Jack asks grinning.

"Well, I've been in town for a while, but, they found me today." Mason says grinning.

"Same for Cameron. We have a lot to talk about. Come over tomorrow." Jack says smiling.

"Well if other things don't come up, then I sure as hell wouldn't have a problem with that arrangements." Mason says with a smirk.

"What about you Cameron? Are you fully back in California or you're just visiting?" Ariana asks enthusiastically.

Please let it just be permanently, let it be permanently. I really want us to at least be friends.

"It's just a visit." Cameron says.

Are you kidding me!

"It's a visit that eventually became permanent. I'm staying!!!" Cameron continues as we all sigh in relief.

Thanks, big guy for answering my prayers. I promise to remain good.

"Thank God." Jack says in relief.

"That was scary for a moment." Mason says laughing.

"So that means that the whole squad is back." Ariana says clapping.

"So, how did you guys get home? I thought that by now I would have gotten a call saying that you guys were wasted and needed a ride." I say still shocked that they're standing.

"Well erase that ever happening from your brain anytime soon. You know how our mother can be. If I'm ever getting wasted, I'm not coming home that night." Jack says running his hands through his hair.

"You guys complain like your mom is that bad." Ariana says probably waiting for an answer.

Excuse me???

I turn to look at Jack who has the same expression that I had. Confused.

"Did I hear that correctly sister?"

"Apparently you did, brother."

Immediately Jack took two steps forward and said what he had to.

"We're the kids, obviously, we know what we're saying. You guys might think we're exaggerating it but our Mom can be something else."

"Yup. Personally, I just feel that she's a little bit calm since we're older. Avery is who I'm afraid for." I say sternly.

"Yeah, but Avery deserves whatever she has coming. Everybody knows how stubborn she can be. It's good she has a Mom like that." Jack says smiling.

Avery can be horrible sometimes but I personally think that's she's awesome. She's nice and respectful but she just crosses the line sometimes. She loves taunting Jack though, according to her, it's tempting.

"It's already ten. I should get going. I'll see y'all later." Cameron says walking towards the front door.

"Goodnight." Me, Mason, Ariana and Jack chorus.

"Night." He replies heading out of the front door.

"We should probably get going too." Mason says gesturing to himself and Ariana.

"Yeah my mom is probably worried and I haven't called." Ariana says heading to the front door as Mason does the same.

"Wait, what about the pizza?" I ask confused.

"You were going to pay eventually. You can have it. Goodnight." Ariana says heading out of the front door.

"Goodnight." Mason says hugging me before heading out of the front door.

He gives the warmest hugs. I missed him.

"Night." I say taking in his scent. "Let me walk you out." I offer.

"Sure." He says taking my hands into his as he opens the front door.

"I'll drop you off at home. It's quite cold outside right now." Ariana offers as they both enter her car.

"Bye guys." I say waving at them.

"Bye." they chorus driving out the cold street.
