In a place on what you would commonly refer to as heaven, you can be seen sitting in a table with the person you would refer to as God.

Setsuna's POV

"Well Mochizuki-san.... First of all..... I'm very... Very sorry but as of now, you're dead.... I have made a huge blunder by accidentally dropping a lighting in the world below. I would like to apologise to you for my careless mistake..... I really didn't think that there would be anyone there when I dropped it.....but the worse thing of all is that I dropped it on a very influencial person in your world that has done many good things in their world..... I'm truly.....truly sorry..." The god said while he bowed sincerely while speaking in an apologetic tone.

'To think that an omnipotent being such as God himself, would make a careless mistake like that baffles my mind.....' You thought to yourself as you try to grasp the situation you're currently in.

*Sigh*  'I guess I really don't have any more choice huh? ' You said as you accepted the situation that you're currently in.

"Please raise your head, what's done has already been done. And I don't have any other choice right?" You replied.

"What a kind young man! Its really unfortunate that a man like you passed away like that" God replied, now with a very gloomy aura.

'Young man? I'm already at my 30's!?! But that old man's teaching did resonate within me huh?' You thought to yourself.

"But you're surprisingly calm about this? I thought that you'd panic and pass out, but you're surprisingly calm."

"Well, the thing is, reality hasn't hit me yet and I still feel like this is a dream of some sort, but besides that point...what's going to happen to me?

"You'll be reincarnated immediately of course! But in a different world... I can't put you back on your old world because, I have rules to follow as a god."

"I see, understandable, what would that world be like though, If you don't mind me asking?"

"It is a medieval world of Fantasy and Magic!"

You were very confused by what God has said to you.

'Medieval? Fantasy? Magic? This is going to be rough....from the word medieval itself, it gives me chills.... unsanitary living conditions, deadly disease, tyranny and injustice is rampant, and many more.... This might turn into my worst nightmare' You to thought yourself as you sit there slightly agitated.

"Uh...Magic? I don't quite get that part so, will you please explain it?" You asked.

"With pleasure! So Magic is the common term referred to the magical system used in your new world.

It is based on the user's affinity for certain aptitudes, or abilities over a certain element.

There are seven elements that one can have an aptitude for: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light, Dark, and Null.

All people are born with "magical energy", but one must have the aptitude to use it. Not all people have the aptitude for any type of magic other than Null, which is a special case.

The aptitude for certain element can be discovered by using small shards of magic stones (spell stones) of different colors, each element having a different color stone. If a person chants a spell while holding a magic stone, and the magic stone reacts, then the person has an aptitude for that element (excluding Null, which everyone has)

Aptitudes also have intensity. The more intense one's aptitude is, the more powerful his/her spells are.

Most spells seen follow a certain pattern. In this chart, the spell is in a left-to-right pattern, meaning that the spell starts with the calling and ends with the name

To test for one's aptitude, one must say "Come forth, 'element' ".

Additionally, null spells do not follow this pattern. Instead, the name of the spell must be recited.

To use a null spell, one must simply say the spell's name.

The amount of aptitudes one has varies per person, but the more aptitudes one has, the rarer his/her magic capability is.

Lastly, Spells are what magic users chant in order to use the magic they are capable of. Did you get all of that?"

"I guess so...." you replied.

"Good, so not only I will be enhancing your abilities so you wouldn't die easily, I will also grant you anything that you wish for, as your compensation!" the god exclaimed.

"I'll warn you in advance, I will not go easy."

"Hoho~ Bring it on! Here's a book if you're having trouble choosing." He hands you a thick book containing different sets of Skills and Abilities. Ranging from the most Over-powered to the most stupid and shittiest skill imaginable...

You scanned the book many times before deciding which skills to pick. "Then I would like to get the following skills, Hyper Regeneration, Carved seal of Absolute Servility, Holy Fighting Spirit, Materialisation, Decomposition, Elemental Sight, Mist Dispersion, Chant Weaving, Unbound Growth Limit, Lie Detection, Fore-sight, Mana manipulation, Regrowth, General Maximum Immunity, Aura Manipulation, Time stop, All appraisal Magic Item, Charm, Dominate, Duplication, Nord, Instant Learning, and lastly Fly." You replied with a smirk on your face.

"You surely didn't hold back huh?" He said as he places his hand on your head. As he does so, a bright light envelops the whole room and you felt your body get lighter. "I also made you 6 years younger, here have a look" he pulls out a mirror and shows you your face when you were in highschool, you clothes also adjusted to your size.

"Oh wow.... Now that I look back when I was this young... I do look kinda, cool."

"Hohoho" the old god  laughed at your remark. "Now another fun part. I, will also grant you a weapon, of any kind, just ask for it and I'll give it to you!" He gave you another book which is filled with names of legendary weapons.

You scanned through the book but nothing really got your interest. Then suddenly, your eyes caught something nice.

"Hmm.... What's this.... 'Die Waffe von Thanatos' interesting....May I test this out?" you asked

"Ahh... One of my favorites, Die Waffe von Thanatos, a single-handed sword, looks very basic and weak, but don't let it deceive you, that can slice and pierce through any material imaginable. Even with just a soft touch, it's blade is very sharp it can leave a cut mark on Titanium and Tungsten, and it cuts soo smoothly like a butter knife slicing through warm butter!" God exclaimed with excitement.

"Would you mind if I test it out?"

"Sure? Why not?" He summons the sword on his hands and gave it to you, for you to try out.

You unsheathed your sword and swing it a few times to check it's balance, Then using your Materialisation skill you made a block of tungsten and flung it up in the air. At first you were surprised that it wasn't heavy at all. As it was falling down, you used the sword to cut it in half mid-air, and to your surprise it unexpected cut through without any resistance.

"I would like to take this weapon!" you exclaimed as sparkles can be seen  on your eyes. "Also, I have pa request, can I bring my Smartphone with me?"

"Sure why not? ! You can have it." God happily said while sipping on tea a bright light also appeared on your pocket revealing your phone. "Don't worry it will charge automatically by using magic."

"God-sama, there's one more question I would like to ask, if you don't mind the people there, what language do they speak? How about their writing system?"

"Oh? Don't worry about those things, they speak the same language as you. As for their written works, once you get successfully transferred to your new world, the blessing that I gave you will do the trick. So don't stress yourself in those kinds of stuff and just have fun!"

"Oh, have fun huh? I guess I'll try to do so once in a while."

"I also have a question for you Mochizuki-San, what do you intend to do with all the power that you have right now" ? The old god asked.

"As you know, I am a man from the modern-era of humanity. The medieval world is still far too under-developed, and from that, many people are suffering... Even in my old world despite being far more technologically advanced... Many are still suffering....But with these powers, I'll do my best to improve the lives of the people in this new world. Instead of living my life as peacefully as possible, I, want to make some noise, make my voice heared and make some changes,and try to make that world a tad bit brighter."

"Not a bad resolve, quite noble perhaps... Well then I guess that is all... Are you ready for your new world?"

"More than ever!" you exclaimed happily.

A bright blinding light once again enveloped the whole room.

"Go now young one, and make your dreams come true!"

(So hey, Yama here, I made this side story to let go of excess brain-farts and sheer-absolute boredom :D ... This story will be completely random that happens before the IAWWMS Timeline, but it will meet with the original plot some chapters in the future..... A'ight Imma head out)
