Monami (Irritatingly) - Sawaal karna bandh karo, Karan. Mujhe already bahot pain ho raha hai aur gussa bhi bahot aa raha hai. Mujhe aur gussa mat dilao... Samjhe tum...???!!!

Roshni was in her quarters, in between her books. She was engrossed in her books. She was trying to find some answers to her brother's problem in those books which were related to the subject of Human Psychology. She didn't know that the door of her quarters was open and Aman was standing there from last 10 minutes. He was smiling at her dedication and was adoring her.

He never showed her but he has always liked her. Not since the beginning of their first meeting but when they gradually started to interact, he started to get attracted towards her baby behaviour whenever he was around. She was a bit tired of her research, so she made a face and said...

Roshni (Irritatingly) - Yaar... Isse acha to Khan Baba ko bol deti... Vahi mujhe guide kar lete. Mujhe to samjh hi nahi aa raha hai ke kaha se kya padhu to mujhe information mil jayegi...!!! Aman wanted to laugh out loud but couldn't afford to make her uncomfortable, so he just smiled at her silently. In fact, he enjoyed that name of his from her mouth because no one ever did that in his entire life. All were scared of him because of his anger but not her. She would even argue with him without even considering his seniority when they were alone. He went forward and kept a hand over her head lovingly before sitting in front of her on his knees. Roshni (Like a sad kid) - Dekhiye na Sir, mujhe to kuch samjh hi nahi aa raha hai...!!!

Aman (Confusingly) - Roshni... Why did you say that Allah knows best? As far as I know, aap to Shergill hai na? To fir ye Khuda ka zikra kyu?

Roshni (With a smile) - Jee yes... Kyuki main adopted hu. Mujhe nahi pata ke mere parents aakhir hai kon.

Aman (While nodding at her) - Oh... I'm sorry... Mujhe ye nahi puchhna chahiye tha.

Roshni (With a calm smile) - It's okay, Sir. Aapko pata hi nahi tha to yahi hoga na... Isme bura maanne wali koi baat hi nahi hai. Allah knows best... Jo hota hai na, hamesha ache ke liye hi hota hai... Aur ye baat to main bahot pehle hi accept kar chuki thi, so no hard feelings.

He didn't say anything but just smiled at her simplicity and her simple thought process.

Meanwhile, Karan came back with the medicine and gave it to Monami. She took it from his hands while making faces and seeing that, he had a slight smile on his face. He said...

Karan (With a smile) - Don't tell me...!!! You don't like medicines...!!!

Monami (While scratching the back of her head) - Haaa to... Medicines kisko pasand hoti hai...???!!!

Monami (Seriously) - Ab yaha vaha ki baatein ho gayi ho, to kaam ki baat kare?

Karan (While nodding his head) - Sabse pehle hume mere ghar jaana hoga. Tumhare kapde change karne ki zaroorat hai hume... Sakht zaroorat hai...!!!

Monami (While making a face) - Fine...!!!

IN THE CAR_____

Monami - Acha... Ek baat batao. Jab tum kahi chhutti pe ya kisi kaam se out of station hote ho to yaha sab kaam kon dekhta hai? I mean... Zahir si baat hai ke sabkuch to tum akele karte nahi hoge to tumhare baad ki jo immediate authority hai vo kiske hath me hai?

Karan - He ek meri company ke bahot purane employee. Mr. Venkat Raman Aiyyangar naam hai unka. Vo meri gerhazari me sabkuch handle karte hai but haa... Meri company se related kisi important decision ko leneka power to unke pass bhi nahi hai. Vo meri company me lagbhag pichhle 25 saalo se hai. Kya tumhe unpe shak hai?

Monami (In a straight forward tone) - Na karu? Kya chahte ho tum?

Karan - Nahi... Karo... It's actually good but mujhe nahi lagta ke vo aisa kuch karege. Vo mere Papa ke barso purane dost reh chuke hai. Actually sabko lagta hai ke ye business maine shuru kiya tha but aisa nahi hai. Maine bas ise thoda aur aage badhaya hai. Ye business mere Papa ne aur Aiyyangar Uncle ne milkar shuru kiya tha. Unhe shuruaat se hi is business me passively participate karna zayada comfortable lagta tha to unhone sabkuch Papa ko aur fir mujhe handle karne diya.

Monami (Curiously) - That reminds me... Tumhare moves se aisa lag raha tha as if tum bhi ek Armyman reh chuke ho. Sahi me aisa tha kya?

Karan (A bit hesitantly) - Amm... Haa... Kuch 8 ya 9 saal maine Army ko diye hai apni life ke.

Monami (While widening her eyes) - To fir tumne Army chhodi hi kyu? Main kabhi na chhodu apna ye kaam. Isse mujhe kitni khushi milti hai, pata hai...???!!! Shayad tumhe isse itni khushi nahi mili isiliye tumne...

She couldn't complete her sentence because he immediately applied the breaks to stop the car. He was looking irritated plus angry and after seeing that reaction from him, she gulped out of a bit fear.
