' Hyung'

Jungkook ran towards his hyung throwing himself into Bogum's arms as he relaxed in his hold.. Jungkook never expected Bogum to come for his birthday as he knew that his hyung was still struggling to get over Jimin....but deep down he had wished for him to come because out of all his hyungs Bogum was the closest to him...he was his best friend to whom he had first shared his feelings towards Tae...Bogum was the one who made him realize that he was in love with Taehyung...

' I thought you won't come' He said nuzzling closer....all this while he was too tensed as he was going to reject anyone who is his mate and he still didn't have any idea how his parents or hyungs would react...he needed someone who knew how deep and pure his feelings for Tae were and would support him even if something goes against his wishes..he was relieved to see Bogum

' Shut up silly' Bogum pulled back as he cupped Jungkook's cheeks...

Jungkook blinked the tears forming in his eyes to prevent himself from crying when suddenly he felt something in him stir... A sudden release of adrenaline surged through his vein making his heart pick up its pace... he felt his chest tightning and breathing heavy....he saw Bogum's eyes widening but was in no state to process anything...but his own eyes widened when he was hit with a strong scent of wild berries....a warm feeling flowing through him as if he was in the middle of a garden in early spring..but soon it changed into a cold winter morning when the spicy sweet scent of Cinnamon laced with vanilla hit him making him go weak on knees...

He saw Bogum's lips moving as he said something but all he could feel was Phoenix's urge to take over as the intoxicating scent wrapped him in it's mystic flavours

He felt like giving up to whatever magic that was happening with him when a body came in contact with his back as two arms got wrapped around his waist....he felt tingles shooting through each and every fibre in him as if he was electrocuted with high volts of current...a sudden rush of fluttering in his stomach as if a million thousand butterflies swarmed in.... He felt euphoric...he felt high as the scent continued to invade him...he wanted more...he wanted to taste it...he wanted to embrace it..he wanted it so close so that the world he is in now would never fade away... Phoenix almost took over when he heard that

' Happy birthday Kookiee'

This seemed to drag him down from his high as the reality hit him on his face...his eyes widened when he understood what had happened...he had found his mate...he was ready to reject anyone but that's not needed anymore.... because he has found his mate in his love...in his Azure

' Finally your are eighteen Koo' Taehyung said happily as he nuzzled close to Jungkook from behind

So this is what it feels to be hugged by your mate...this is how it feels to find your mate Jungkook thought as he felt the tingles again..

' Koo?' Taehyung detached himself when he got no response

All this while Bogum was staring wide eyed at Jungkook who wasn't even reacting...he was the only one who saw what was happening with Jungkook as they were near the entrace of the hall and the rest of his family were inside with Jungkook's back facing them.... he saw the way Jungkook closed his eyes only to have it back to it's normal color just as Taehyung came and stood between them
He understood that Jungkook was suppressing his wolf...but why?

' Thanks pup' Jungkook managed to say as he pulled the younger into his chest nuzzling his nose into the crook of his neck inhaling in the exhilarating scent of his mate

' I hope you find a beautiful mate..who will shower you with all the love from the world' Taehyung whispered into his shoulder as Jungkook tightened his hold

When Hobi saw Taehyung skipping his way towards Jungkook who was hugging Bogum..as soon as the clock struck twelve he was all giddy and went towards the rest of the family members who were waiting for this moment for years....for the day when Jungkook and Taehyung will be one...the day they will know that they are each other's mates

Jimin's face fell first when he saw Jungkook not even budging when Tae back hugged him

' Why is nothing happening?' Jimin asked frowning

' Can't he feel anything?' Namjoon voiced out

' He is still not reacting' Jisoo said when Tae went and stood in front of Jungkook ' The vision that Jimin saw... it can't be wrong right?'

' Let's go wish him' Yoongi as they all went towards them

' Happy birthday Jungkook ah' Nayeon and Daewoong came near as they wished their son.... unknown to the battle he was in with Phoenix who so badly wanted to take over and claim his mate

' Thankyou eomma appa' Jungkook said smiling as he pulled Taehyung to his side...an arm wrapped around the omega

What are you doing Bogum linked when he saw everyone wishing Jungkook and him behaving like nothing ever happened

Jungkook snapped his head towards Bogum who was still shocked...

What hyung

I know Tae is your mate... you should tell him..an-

Not now hyung...we will talk about this later Jungkook linked cutting him off

' Bogum' Jimin approached him making him tear his gaze of Jungkook...his eyes softening immediately when he saw a smiling Jimin ' Am happy you came... I missed you'

' I missed you too Chim' Bogum smiled awkwardly...' Chim...can..can I hug you... only if you-'

Jimin instantly wrapped his arms around Bogum who froze as he was not expecting the hug..but nonetheless hugged him back..he glanced at Yoongi who had his wide gummy smile on full display as he winked at him making Bogum chuckle

' Come on kids.. let's have the dinner' Inna said grabbing their attention....as Nayeon and Daewoong went back to attend the guests ' I'll ready everything come okk' She said as they all nodded ans Jisoo tagged along to help her

' Come on Kookiee let's have food am starving'

Jungkook chuckled as he nodded and was about to turn when someone called him

' Prince Ian'

All of the halted and Jin saw Namjoon's forehead crease when they saw the owner of the voice

' Many Many happy returns of the day Prince..' the man said ' May you find your mate soon and be the happiest man ever..... Right Taetae' He asked looking at Taehyung

' Yes hyung' Taehyung gave a weak smile

Jungkook frowned as he looked at both of them..his grip around Taehyung automatically tightening
' I didn't recognize you and how do you know him baby?'

' Hyung... He is the new royal advisor.... I met him in the garden when you were at Aramis...and we kind of became friends...' Taehyung explained

' Oh...am sorry I couldn't meet you earlier um...' Jungkook trailed off

' Wooshik' The man said with a sweet smile ' Choi Wooshik...'

' Nice to meet you Wooshik shi' Jungkook smiled

' We should head in now' Namjoon said looking very tensed...his mind becoming filled with a lot of questions...

They all sat down at the table...but no one was in the right mind to have food...this was supposed to be a good day...a day where Tae and Jungkook would finally be each other's..

' Are you all ok?' Taehyung asked looking at all of his hyungs and Ji Eun

' Yeah why?' Yoongi asked covering up his confusion

' You all were so happy a while ago and then suddenly fell silent' Taehyung asked

' No... we were just thinking why Jungkook didn't find his mate yet' JiEun told

' Its good he didn't find' Taehyung blurted out his own eyes widening hearing himself  ' I mean... It's good that..he didn't find yet because.... because you know even if he found they won't be able to talk properly in the middle of this crowd..so it's better they meet at a peaceful place...soon.. yeah soon'

Everyone stared at Taehyung who was now rambling...a part of them found it funny and a part of them guilty..  All these years they only made them spend too much time together blindly believing the prophecy which made them thisss close and now....

Jungkook...all this while...had his eyes fixed on Taehyung...with his heart beating out of his chest eveytime they touched causing tingles to pass through him..

' Let's start eating' Jisung said trying to ease the tension

' I know what you are going to say' Daewoong said as soon as Nayeon faced him ' Even am confused.... does this mean Tae is not his mate?'

' I don't know Woong...but this shouldn't have happened... If they are not mates.. then there is another trueblood born somewhere who is meant for our Tae...but...that will only increase the problem' Nayeon breathed out

' What problem?' Jungjin asked

' Do you think Jungkook will easily give up on Tae...and let him go with his mate? Do you think Taehyung will be able to reject a trueblood? You all know its impossible to reject a trueblood without their consent' Nayeon said..her voice drowning deeper and deeper in sorrow

' We will talk about this after the feast' Seunghun said as they all agreed

The feast was over as all the guests went back to the pack house...and the palace was left with only the Royal family....

All of them were too tired and disheartened to do anything... They tried their best not to show it openly as it was a day for celebration and also they had a coronation to hold...so they all decided to retire to their chambers hoping that they will come in terms with whatever happened by the next morning

' Tae come lets sleep' Jungkook said as he pulled the already sleepy boy with him

' Good night Hyungs' Taehyung mumbled as he let Jungkook take him away

Jungkook had his fingers running through the blue locks of the moon child who was sleeping beside him as he leaned on to the headrest of the bed.... A small smile on his lips....

His heart was still racing as he found it difficult to register the fact that the boy with whom he grew up..the boy with whom he fell in love with was his mate...a small chuckle escaped his cherry lips as he looked at the sleeping boy....

You never fail to make me the happiest man alive..my love.... Am sorry for not telling you yet..but I have my reasons Jungkook thought as he bend down kissing the crown of Taehyung's head...

' Jungkook'

Jungkook snapped his head towards the door only to find Bogum...

' Yes Hyung' He slowly stood up

' Come out...we need to talk'

Jungkook walked out slowly closing the door behind him

' What are you upto? I saw your eyes turning red when Tae hugged you! I know you both are mates..then why are you behaving like nothing happened?' Bogum asked

' Hyung... I don't want to tell him now...I have a reas-'

' Jungkook.... all are waiting for you downstairs....' Hobi came causing Jungkook to stop midsentence

' Is everything ok?' Jungkook frowned.. because as far as he knows all had gone to bed

' Just come down' Hobi sighed as he walked away

When Hobi called him to talk... Jungkook didn't expect to see his entire family there...even Jisoo was present..she had become close to everyone so quickly that they felt like she has always been there with them in Eleanor

' Jungkook' Daewoong's deep voice pulled him out of his thoughts

' Yes appa'

' We wanted to know something' He started ' Did you find your mate?'

Jungkook was conflicted... should I tell him

' Appa.... I just turned eighteen..I have time for that' Jungkook said avoiding Bogum's stare

' Yeah...' Daewoong nodded...' You are right'

' I should have listened to you Jin' Nayeon suddenly interrupted

' What?' Namjoon frowned ....

' I should have listened to him when he warned me years ago' Nayeon sounded way too distressed ' Why did I just blindly assumed everything?'

' It's not your fault Yeonie' Inna said

' We all took it in the same way' Jungjin mumbled

' What are you all talking about?' Jungkook asked but no one minded him

' What are we going to do now?' Yoongi asked ' Now we can't let it slide '

' But I have never been wrong' Jimin said ' My vision said that a trueblood will come'

He had a vision Jungkook was stunned

' No Jimin ah....it was us who were wrong...we can't let anyone harm our children now' Seunghun said getting all serious

' Yes...if what we thought was wrong then we have to stop the worse from happening' Hobi said getting all determined

' Hey what are y-' Jungkook started but stilled when he heard the next words that left his Jin hyung's mouth

' We should sent Tae away..... Ji Eun ah....take him with you.... atleast till Jungkook finds his mate'

' Are you out of your mind' Jungkook yelled ' And what vision? Jimin hyung what are you talking about?'

' We don't have an option Jungkook' Namjoon raised his voice

' What is even wrong with you all? ' Jungkook asked exasperated

' It will only harm your lives Jungkook' Jin said walking closer ' It will only lead anyone of you to your death'

' I am not getting a thing you all are saying' Jungkook said getting all frustrated ' How can you even think of taking him away from me when you all saw how he risked his life that day to meet me'

' We will make sure he won't sneak out' Jisung said making Jungkook all the more furious

' You think I care Hyung' Jungkook's eyes turned red 'I won't allow anyone to even touch him...even if you take him away.. I'll come all way there to meet him..to be with my Taehyung!you guys get it?'

' You don't get to decide that Jungkook...am still the head alpha and I am the one who takes the final decision' Daewoong scolded when he saw the way Jungkook talked to Jisung

' Then continue being the head alpha for the rest of your life and fucking leave me and Tae out of this... I don't care if I die or not..but if I live that will be only with my Tae'

' Jungkook! Mind your language' Nayeon raised her voice ' And it's finalized... Jisung and JiEun are taking him to Aramis..no more talk-'

' Don't you even lay a finger on him' Jungkook roared as Phoenix finally took over...his alpha voice booming through the walls making them all go weak 'No on gets to separate me from my mate is that clear? I'll live here with my mate in this palace..even if I have to pay with my life for being with him I'll gladly do that!! He is my mate...Kim Taehyung is Jeon Ian Jungkook's mate and no one can ever come in between us no one! He is mine'

The whole royal family stilled....

'I won't let you take him away from me...' Jungkook came back to his normal self but he was still overwhelmed ' Am his mate....you can't take him away' Jungkook looked at Jin.. whose wide eyes continued to water....

' Jin hyung' Jungkook held on to his hand desperately ' Jin hyung you know how much I love him right...'

' Bogumie hyung ' He ran towards Bogum who was looking at him with pained eyes 'you know everything right hyungg.. you saw my wolf reacting to him right.. tell them not to take him away from me hyung..he is my mate...' Jungkook choked on a sob...all his pent up frustration worries concerns fear and happiness flowing out of his eyes

' My Tae... Appa my Tae..he is my ma-mate...my azure is my mate appa' he turned towards Daewoong who looked broken... Never in his life has he seen his son this desperate..this miserable..he felt like a failure when he realized that it was his fault because of which Jungkook is reacting like this..if only he had properly talked to his son

Jin couldn't hold back anymore as he pulled the trueblood into his embrace.. rubbing his back as Jungkook continued

' I will die without him hyung.... please' Jungkook pulled back looking into Jin's chocolate orbs

' Taehyung is your mate?' Jin asked..he couldn't contain the elation building up in him

A big smile spread on Jungkook's face as he nodded his head vigorously ' My Tae is my mate hyung...we are mates...see what happened hyungie... Here I was all ready to reject anyone who would have been my mate and look what Moon goddess did..she blessed me with her son as my mate....am the mate of the moonchild...am the mate of my Tae'

' Am so happy' Jin whispered as he wiped off Jungkook's tears from his cheeks

' Why didn't you tell us earlier? Why didn't you tell him?' Namjoon asked

' Because.. hyung... I want Tae to fall in love with me first...I want him to be with me...not with his mate.... I don't want to force any feelings upon him just because moon goddess chose me for him... I want him to choose me for himself' Jungkook said blinking his doe eyes

' How long are you going to do this?' Jisoo asked

' We have five years in front of us Noona for Tae to find out on his own....I have five years for us..' Jungkook trailed off as insecurities started settling at the bottom of his heart

Suddenly two arms wrapped around his shoulder pulling him into a warm embrace which always soothed him

' We are with you in this Kook' Jimin said giggling as he hugged his brother ' After all my Taetae deserves someone pure as you'

' Yes Kook...and congrats on finding your mate' Yoongi smiled widely

' Thankyou hyung' Jungkook smiled ' Am sorry for the way I behaved earlier'

' We understand you Jungkook.. it's fine' Jisung winked at him ' And yeah Don't think too much..Tae will accept you soon'

The elders looked at them with warm eyes... Nayeon finally felt at peace hearing that they are mates

' Joonie hyung...' Jungkook turned towards Namjoon with a smug smile on his face

' Wasn't he crying a second ago?' Namjoon mumbled to himself

' What?' He asked squinting his eyes

' See I told you I'll be your brother in law soon' Jungkook said wiggling his brow

' Did I tell you that am letting my brother marry you?' Namjoon rubbed his chin as if he was thinking

' But am his mate' Jungkook said bewildered

' So?' Namjoon shrugged

' If you don't let us get married we will run away' Jungkook huffed

' Agh not this again' Namjoon groaned as he hugged him ' Am so happy Kook.... '

' Me too hyung.... it's so hard to believe' Jungkook smiled ' But hyung..what were you all talking about? Why did you plan to send Tae to Aramis? Jiminie hyung did you have a vision?'

' About that' Daewoong started explaining everything since the day they knew about Tae being a moonchild

Taehyung squirmed turning around on his bed...he slowly opened his eyes only to see Jungkook gone...

He told me he will be with me A small pout bloomed on his plump lips as he got up from the bed.. dragging himself out of the room...

' Kookie' He called as he opened the door to Jungkook's chamber only to find it empty Where is he

Taehyung rubbed his eyes with his small fists as he walked downstairs..he heard someone's voice and saw the light coming from there

' You all knew?' Jungkook asked looking betrayed 'All these days I was stressed out like anything..if only I knew'

' Ah stop sulking kid...you are annoying' Yoongi rolled his eyes ' And go get some sleep..we have a coronation to attend tomo-'

' Koo are you there'

All the head whipped towards the source of sound only to see a very sleepy Taehyung with messy hair and disheveled clothes coming down the stairs with one hand rubbing his eyes a cute pout still adorning his lips

' Yes baby' Jungkook was immediately by his side

' What are you doing here?' Taehyung asked as he leaned on to Jungkook ' You promised that you would sleep with me'

Yoongi and Hobi chuckled as Jungkook's cheeks turned red

' Yaa Jungkook ah' Namjoon called playfully only for Jungkook to shake his head

' Aish you kids' Daewoong looked at all of them

' Come on Woonie we all are mated' Jin laughed

' Take him to bed Kook.. other wise he will sleep on the stairs itself' JiEun laughed

' Pup... come let's go' Jungkook said stroking the younger's cheeks

' Take me' Taehyung said closing his eyes as he made grabby hands at him..and who is Jungkook to deny his cute baby

' He is disgustingly whipped' Bogum commented making the rest of them break out into a fit of laughter..

' Now everyone go and sleep.. it's going to be a very long day tomorrow' Nayeon said as all of them decided to leave to their chambers

' I thought he would find his mate today' He said as he removed the royal uniform aside stretching himself

' But it's going to get more interesting'

' How'

' You should have seen the way the pretty Omega's smile faltered when I said how his Prince would get his  mate soon' The deep voice said as he started laughing

' I never knew you befriended Tae Wooshik' He said sipping on his wine

' There are many thing that you don't know.... I made you go there as a guard but seems like it was just a waste of time' Wooshik said moving closer to him ' Was it?'

' No..no alpha' The man stuttered

' Do your job properly from now onwards..and I'll just sit back and enjoy the hell that is going to be let loose due to my friendship with little Taetae' Wooshik said as his devilish laughs echoed through the room.
