' Why is it' Phoenix linked back with Octavius by his side

' The fight outside is still going on...the rogues Haven't left yet' Inna said hiding with the others

By then Bogum came behind them with Yoongi who held on to Taehyung's hand

' We only have a way left....Bogum hyung.. please take Jimin from me and Yoongi hyung transform....take Jimin with you' Jungkook linked them

Bogum walked forward taking Jimin in his arms...his heart aching as he looked at boy whose face still showed the pain he was in...Yoongi transformed in to Cyrus.... taking Jimin on his back

Jungkook came back to his human form...he held Taehyung's hand and walked  forward with the rest of them following...

He saw rogues and werewolves of Eleanor fighting..the streets now littered with blood and bodies of injured wolves... He saw a part of the village burning...in the middle of that he saw his appa and eomma struggling....

' Pup...listen to me' Jungkook cupped Taehyung's face..he saw how scared the younger was now ' You trust me right'

Taehyung just nodded not having the courage to open his mouth..

' Just close your eyes and stand close to me okk...' Jungkook pulled him close and made Tae rest his head on his chest ' Just listen to my heartbeats and nothing else... and when Phoenix comes.. climb on his back.. ok?'

Taehyung again nodded as he fisted Jungkook's shirt...

Jungkook took a deep breath...his eyes turning blood red as he said ' Wolves'

The whole place stilled...

' Submit! Now! ' Jungkook said in his alpha voice 'Your Leader is dead now... Jungwoo is no more and if you don't wish to share a similar fate like him..leave Eleanor this instant'

Generally when an alpha uses his alpha voice only betas and omegas are supposed to submit... but when a  trueblood uses his alpha voice the whole werewolf world bows to him in submission

Here also that's what happened... All the wolves submitted regardless of them being alpha beta omega or rogues... even the King of Eleanor.

Taehyung had gripped tightly on to Jungkook wrapped in Jungkook's calming pheromones...just focusing on his heartbeats ...and the rest of them were still behind and they didn't have much effect except for the few whimpers....

Jungkook stepped back as he changed into phoenix.. Taehyung instantly getting on top of him...he mindlinked the rest to follow him to the infirmary

All the wolves still bowed as Jungkook and the rest of them went past them.

' Appa please rush to the palace ' Jungkook had linked him

After the remaining rouges left the Alpha and Luna along with Seunghun and Jungjin ran towards the palace.... only to have their world crushed seeing Jinhyuk's wounded body

' Hyung' Jungjin ran towards him taking him in his arms ' H-hey hyung.. open your eyes... You can't die like this...p-please... You are fooling me right... Hyung you can't go like this...whom will I fight with now.. heyyy...Hyung please'

Seunghun gripped on to Daewoong who was standing there numb.... Nayeon kneeled beside Jungjin as she slowly touched Jinhyuk's pale hand.. only to find it ice cold.... A sob left her mouth

' Jungjin...start the preparations for the funeral' Daewoong said..his voice cold ' I'll look around the palace and come'

Jungjin looked at the retreating figure of Daewoong who already left ... without even sparing a single glance at Jinhyuk

' Hyungg' Jungjin again called hugging him close to his chest ' Whyy? Why does this always happen to us? Whyy?'

' Oppa' Nayeon kept a hand on his shoulder...her own tears not stopping

' My Ara left me like this..... And now him' Jungjin sobbed ' It hurts Yeonie...it hurts... He was like my own brother..'

Seunghun wrapped his hand around Jungjin trying to calm him down

' Oppa... Jungkook linked me now' Nayeon took a deep breath trying to control herself ' Jin...Jin is deeply wounded....a-and the head of the rogues.. was Jimin's mate'

Jungjin stilled...his sobs dying down' What? How are they...Jin will get okk right? A-and Jimin...he wasn't marked right'

Nayeon just cried as Jungjin slowly laid Jinhyuk down as he held Nayeon who was now breaking down in to sobs ' Nayeon... tell me please..I can't stand anymore lose'

' Jin is taken in for treatment...w-we have to wait.. And Jimin is injured..I-I don't know more...he didn't explain'

' This can't happen... He shouldn't be marked or else he won't survive after his mate's death.' Seunghun said

' Nayeon...we have to leave for the infirmary now' Daewoong came running down

When Daewoong came running in asking them to leave for the infirmary.. Seunghun offered to stay back and start the preparation for Jinhyuk's funeral...

Nayeon Daewoong and Jungjin rushed to the infirmary but their world stopped seeing the situation of their children..all stained with blood

Bogum was silently standing at a corner.. not even looking at anyone.... Inna was beside Namjoon who was sitting on the floor outside the chamber where Jin was getting treated..his eyes void of any emotion as he just rocked back and forth... Yoongi was pacing up and down..his face all swollen with puffy eyes and red cheeks...he will walk upto Jimin's room..stand there for sometime then with start pacing again.. but what broke them more was Taehyung.... The boy was curled up on Jungkook's lap...still shaking in fear...small whimpers left his mouth once in a while..

' Tae' Nayeon kneeled in front of him trying to get his attention..and that's when she saw it..his shiny blue eyes indicating his omega had taken over protecting him.. this happens in a werewolf when the human form is too scared or traumatized..then the wolf part takes over in an attempt to protect the human in them

Nayeon hugged the boy who again flinched making her  all the more sad...

' Joon' Jungjin called him but the said boy didn't even move an inch... ' Joon...listen to me...'

Jungjin helplessly looked at Inna who just shook her head...

' Hey... Look at me son...talk to me...' Jungjin tried again but Namjoon just sat still... Jungjin couldn't take it anymore..he wrapped his arms around Namjoon bring him close to his chest and hugged him tightly...'Let it all out Joon.... let it out'

And that was all needed for Namjoon to break down in Jungjin's arms...he cried like there is no tomorrow...each and every sob leaving his body showed the depth of his misery..

Taehyung curled up more towards Jungkook hearing his hyung's cries... Jungkook was quick to pick him up keeping him close

' Am sorry' Namjoon cried clinging on to Jungjin ' You lo-lost your mate because of me... She died  tr-trying to sa-save me a-and Appa died because of me..now your son is in the-there again because of me.. I h-had linked him to come in and t-take Tae and Jimin with him...am sorry'

' It's not your fault.... My Ara saved you for you to have a beautiful life...she saved you for you to live happily with our son....with your Jinnie... And.. What's with Jin? Huh?' Jungjin wiped his own tears as he made Namjoon look at him ' Jin will be fine.. he is whipped for you...he can't see you sad'

Namjoon nodded as he hugged him again

Daewoong stood at same place this whole time.... seeing how they all were suffering... He has never seen Namjoon this low....he was just like Jungjin..the protective father figure to the younger ones... both Namjoon and Jungjin had the solution to every problem.... They were their hope

His eyes then travelled to Taehyung...the kid who always had a wide smile plastered on his face no matter how hard the situation was...is now shaking like a leaf in the arms of Jungkook who looked lost...

He felt bad for Bogum... he had been dragged into this just because he came to visit them....

And that's when his eyes went towards Yoongi..the boy was unusually restless....Yes it's not a normal situation they are facing now... but Yoongi was not someone to openly show his emotions.. Daewoong looked at him carefully....he was not crying...rather he looked guilty?

' Yoongi' Daewoong called him drawing everyone's attention

' Y-yes alpha' Yoongi stuttered badly.. making Daewoong frown

' What's wrong with you?' Daewoong asked concerned..

Namjoon slowly got up from the ground..he looked at Jungkook who shook his head

He doesn't know about Jimin Namjoon sighed

' Appa' Jungkook stood up holding Taehyung closer as he walked towards them ' Jiminie hyung was forcefully marked by Jungwoo..the leader of the rogues'

' What? And you are telling us now?' Daewoong's voice raised slightly

A small whimper left Tae as the boy closed his eyes

' But Jungwoo died right?' Nayeon asked her voice filled with fear....

' The marking was not over...but close enough for him to feel Jungwoo's pain' Inna said....

A sob left Nayeon's mouth...' My poor baby'

' He was screaming in pain when Yoongi killed Jungwoo' Bogum stated..his voice spitting venom ' Jimin was in their because Yoongi hyung killed his mate'

' Bogum' Namjoon glared at him...'he is your hyung'

Bogum just scoffed....

Daewoong didn't know what to ask... He lost his best friend who was like a father to him...His Jin was gravely wounded and now His son..

' There was only one way to save him' Namjoon said ' He had to be marked again...'

Nayeon frowned 'Who will do it? Jimin could be saved like that But marking someone else's mate is more painful than death for the one who will do that.... They will feel like their whole body is set on fire...they will constantly in pain...Jimin won't even have to go through half of that.. This is impossible Namjoon... No one will ever be ready to mark a person who is already marked by someone else... It's too painful'

' Not as painful as seeing him die in front of your eyes' Yoongi said

' You don't understand stand Yoon-'

' I understand' Yoongi said keeping a hand on his own chest where a throbbing pain was slowly taking over   ' I understand luna...'

Nayeon trailed her eyes over Yoongi's face...his brows were furrowed..his breath heavy....his fist all clenched but his eyes held the pain that he was trying to hide Her eyes slightly widening in realization

' Yo-'

' I marked him' Yoongi breathed out ' He is my mate now'

' What?' Daewoong asked taking a step forward

' Don't hit him' Taehyung whimpered lowly... making Jungkook frown... He looked around and saw that no one except him heard that..he just hugged the boy more closer if it was possible

' Are you in pain?' Daewoong asked... something in his voice sent chills down their spine...' Answer me Yoongi'

' Yes Alpha'

' Did you know that marking someone else's mate could be this painful?'

' Yes alpha'

' And still you marked him? Why?'

' I...I had to do it' Yoongi held his head low... waiting for the next blow to land on him when he saw Daewoong getting closer ' he was in too much pain and I couldn't see him like that..he could have died.. I thought If me enduring this pain assures his life then I'll just go through it.....and I just marked him'

Yoongi flinched when he saw Daewoong raising his hand..but felt them getting wrapped around him

' Thankyou so much Yoongi ah' Daewoong said                ' Thankyou for saving him'

Yoongi just hugged him back..he needed this hug way too much... tears already running down his cheeks...

' Yoongi...' Nayeon called making them pull back ' You are in pain..'

' It's bearable luna...I just want him to be safe' Yoongi said.

Nayeon felt her chest tightning...indeed Jimin is lucky that he has Yoongi now... but a strange fear settled down in her heart What if Jimin is not ready to accept him?

Just then Jinyoung came out from Jimin's chamber
' Alpha... prince is safe now...the mate bond is keeping him alive... It will take some time for him to heal completely...He is asleep now. Would wake up after some hours.. Take care of him. And try not to pressurize him for anything'

' Thankyou so much' Daewoong said smiling... All of them sighing in relief but that didn't last long when Jackson ran out of Jin's chamber..his face etched with worry..

' Jin hyung's situation is worsening...his wounds are not healing'

' Come' Jinyoung ran back in..

Namjoon felt a lump form in his throat as he bit back his cries...

' This is because of me' Taehyung said as he got away from Jungkook ' He was trying to protect me from them'

' Tae it's not your fault' Jungkook said as he tried to take hold of the boy's hand who just jerked his hand away and ran towards the room Jin was in

He opened the door and saw Jackson pressing a clothes against Jin's would to stop the bleeding as Jinhyuk checked his pulse

He climbed on the bed beside Jin as he kept both his hand on Jin's head and closed his eyes

The rest of them followed behind as they looked confusedly at him...

' Alpha' Jinyoung called ' What is he?'

Daewoong stilled...he can't let Jinyoung know about Taehyung's truth...but before he could even open his mouth..he saw the room lighting up as a silver glow emitted from Taehyung...All of them gasped when they saw the wound healing slowly...  Jackson rushed to their side and checked Jin's pulse again

' He is stable' Jackson announced

The rest of them still looked at the glow Taehyung was emitting dimmed..they sae how the glow dimmed and finally stopped as Tae sat back... looking pale

' Koo' Taehyung made grabby arms ' Mm tired'

' You can take him to the chamber next to this' Jackson said as Jungkook left with Tae

' He is a moon wolf.. isn't he?' Jihyoung asked

' How do you know?' Nayeon asked

'A moonchild's glow is something which could never be mistaken with anything else...it just stands out... Just like what you saw now... The glow... it's the visible form of the moon's blessing...a blessing to keep her child alive on the earth.... There was a time when her children walked the surface of earth freely without the fear of anyone..there was a time when they were worshiped.. but things changed when the theories about the powers of a moonchild spread....the power of healing... A moon child is capable of healing any kind of wounds except those caused by silver or those on themselves. But the process takes a huge toll on their health...They can use this power only twice.... Everytime they heal someone..they are sacrificing some years of their life.... One of the reasons for their early death...Make sure Taehyung doesn't use it ever again... The more he uses his power..the more he is near to his death'

' That means he has sacrificed a part of his life?' Bogum asked

' Yes...half his lifespan to be precise' Jinyoung said

Jinyoung continued as he walked towards Jin and checked his vitals ' Moon child started getting killed once everyone knew how their blood can make them immortal... undefeatable.. Moonchild was an essential part of the werewolf world..they were the reason the packs prospered... That's when moon goddess blessed us with Truebloods whose sole purpose was the protection of the moonchild... It was not like these days... Truebloods were born like how a normal alpha is but with some extra powers..but things got out of hand when these truebloods started getting greedy for more power and started killing the moonchild they were supposed to protect'

' Jackson.. apply this medicine once again...' Jinyoung handed over a bowl to Jackson ' This enraged the moon goddess ' He continued ' She cursed them causing every trueblood alive at that time to die and their kinds to be born only once in a hundred years...but usually those which were born would die with in the age of 12... She decided on never sending her children to earth... And the last moon child born was almost about three centuries back....'

' Jungkook is a trueblood' Daewoong admitted ' And is of 17 years'

' What?' Jinyoung was shocked ' A trueblood and a moon child at the same place and time... And that too after these many years... Eleanor has surely pleased the moon goddess... Alpha... protect the moon child at any cost... Or else hell will see its doom'

Back at the palace Seunghun had prepared for the funeral... He was now out in the village talking to someone when a group approached him

'  Prince Seunghun shi...' An old man said ' Is our alpha prince a true blood?'

Seunghun stared at the man...Oh right he had transformed in front of everyone..

' Ajussi' Seunghun started ' He is a trueblood alpha.. We didn't want to hide it from all of you but we didn't want to draw any unwanted trouble... We are sorry'

' No prince' a woman said ' We know how risky the life a trueblood is.... We have heard of it... Infact we all are happy that we have a trueblood who will protect us from every danger'

Seunghun smiled nodding....

' We... wanted to ask you one more thing' A man said 'Words have been spread that the head of the rogues was our Prince's mate'

' Who told you this?' Seunghun asked getting all serious...If this news spreads it will only harm Jimin

' The rogues threatened us saying that they will take over Eleanor once Prince Jimin is marked by their leader' The woman explained

' You all should first make sure that all of you are safe and don't need any medical help at the moment rather than believing all these rumors... The bodies of the deceased have been collected.. I need their details soon...the guards will be here... inform them' So saying Seunghun left for the infirmary

Taehyung had been sleeping as he had grown severely tired after using his powers .. Jungkook was by his side all this while... Jin had woken up and Namjoon had cried tears of happiness...Jimin was still asleep...

Nayeon and Inna were back to the palace... Yoongi still outside Jimin's room.... He didn't find it in himself to see the younger....as guilt was eating him alive... Bogum hasn't talked to him yet

' Baby how are you?' Jungkook asked as soon as Taehyung opened his eyes

' How is Jin hyung?' Was the first thing that came out of his mouth

' You saved him Tae....he woke up some hours ago.. we can go see him after a while okk' Jungkook asked earning big boxy smile from the younger ' You knew you had powers?'

Taehyung again nodded

' Since when?'

' It was in the book Luna gave me..from Shin hye ajumma..' Taehyung said... ' I read about it...and learned how to use them... But I didn't want to use it until I heard about Jin hyung'

Jungkook frowned ' Why'

Jungkook was not there when Jinyoung explained everything about a moonchild but Nayeon had then filled him up all the details... Despite all these he felt the need to hear the reason from Taehyung itself

' I'll die if I use my powers more than once' Taehyung mumbled 'Don't take me wrong Koo....  I want to save people's life ...and it's not like am afraid to die.. it's just if I die you will be sad... I can't see you like that'

Jungkook felt his insides churn just by hearing Tae speaking about death

' See just thinking about that is making you cry' Taehyung said as he wiped a tear away from Jungkook's cheeks that Jungkook himself didn't know about ' Then how will you react when I actually die?'

' Tae' Jungkook hugged him ' Never ever talk about dying okk....you are not going anywhere leaving me alone here..and promise me that you will never ever use your powers... promise me'

' Promise' Taehyung said as he pecked Jungkook's cheeks.. both of them froze...

Okkayyy Jungkook had kissed Taehyung before..but that was on his forehead...and that was always him..not Taehyung..and this was the first time Taehyung had kissed him.. that too on his cheeks? Taehyung felt his heart stop

Taehyung doesn't know what came upon him as he blushed...but all his happy mood fell when a harsh reality slapped him across his face

' appa' Taehyung's lips wobbled as leaned on to Jungkook's chest...the elder stroking his back.. ' How c-can he leave us l-like this'

Taehyung continued crying for some more minutes as his sobs gradually died down to small sniffs...his eyes closing

' Tired?' Jungkook asked as Taehyung nodded

' Sleep..am here' Jungkook made him lay down ' Baby I need to ask you something' Jungkook told suddenly remembering a certain event

' Why were you scared that Appa will hit Yoongi hyung?'

' Oh..' Taehyung looked at him ' Bogumie hyung hit Yoongi hyung and called him traitor'

Jungkook frowned.. ' Ok.. now you sleep I'll go check on hyung and come ok?'

Taehyung nodded closing his eyes

' Yoongi go back and take some rest... Atleast take the medicine... I know you are in pain' Jungjin said

' How the hell is he in anykind of pain? He just had to mark Jimin out of the blue and hurt him more...' Bogum argued ' It's Jimin who is in pain'

' What is even your problem?' Jungjin frowned ' Look we all are affected by whatever happened today ok? That doesn't mean you can act like this...You were never like this...Yoongi is your hyung.. respect him And didn't you understand anything that Nayeon said a while ago about marking and all?'

' It's ok... Bogum is right... I broke their trust by marking him' Yoongi said hanging his head low

Bogum just scoffed turning around only to be met by Jungkook who looked rather disappointed

' Bogum hyung...we need to talk'
