As promised by her Nayeon went to the lake to meet Woong... She came a bit early than the said time.

' Was this the right decision? What if he tricked me?' she sat down under a tree by the lake ' No no he didn't seem like someone who could cheat you' She remembered their meeting... The way he smiled gently when she told about the present..and the way his eyes shined when she replied to his friend.. her heart beat rose when she remembered the tingling sensation when their hands met

' What's wrong with you?' Nayeon shook her head trying to think of something else which was not him

' Why do you look so constipated'

' Please Seunghun Hyung not now' Daewoong groaned as he walked into the throne room where the present King and Queen sat in all their glory

' Prince Jeon Daewoong and Peince Min Seunghun is here' A guard announced as the ministers stood up and bowed to them

Min Seunghun was Daewoong's cousin...whose parents died when he was a mere child. The king couldn't find it in him to leave his nephew...and the queen was too happy to welcome the little baby into their family... Never even once have they let him feel the absence of his real parents... and Daewoong ...he was the typical clingy younger brother whose world revolved around his hyung.

' Greetings to all gathered here. Let's commence the royal counsel' The king said and a minister came forward opening a rolled up paper and read about the concerns and changes and other important topics

Daewoong was bouncing his leg up and down....his whole posture showing how restless he was. Jinhyuk who was standing behind him cleared his throat indicating the young prince to stay still. This didn't go unnoticed by Seunghun

' Seriously what's wrong? You know you can tell me anything' Seunghun mindlinked his brother

Daewoong whipped his head towards Seunghun who just wanted to facepalm
' Don't be so obvious you idiot'

' Oh sorry hyung' Daewoong linked back ' Hyung..I need to go'

' where?'

' I'll tell you everything once am back..but for now I have to go.. please'

Seunghun frowned... now how is he going to help his brother leave in the middle of the counsel... Seunghun knows that his brother is not someone who will leave such an important meeting just for wasting his time goofing around. He slowly glanced at his father.. the king...( The king had taken in Seunghun and had looked after him like his own child...and has asked Seunghun to see him and the queen as his own parents..)

The king was a very kind man by heart... His subjects respected him and had always followed his principles which had led them to their prosperous life.

The King was not oblivious to the restlessness of his youngest son... He saw the way Seunghun was looking at him

' What is wrong with your brother?' The king tried to mindlink... without the ministers noticing

' He has to go to the pack borders to see if they are safely guarded...he couldn't check today as he was busy with the counsel meeting....he is afraid something bad might happen because of his carelessness' Seunghun lied through the link... He knows how sensitive is the matter that he just said...the borders have always been a threat because of the rouges.

' Prince Daewoong is excused from the counsel... You can go and carry on your other duties' The king announced

Daewoong looked wide eyed at his father..
' Go now... don't stare' Seunghun linked

Daewoong was on his feet rushing out with Jinhyuk

' Am telling you ag-'

' Not here' Daewoong cut him off as Jinhyuk sighed following him to his chamber

Daewoong immediately put on some normal clothes disguising himself again

' Woong... please just listen to me' Jinhyuk tried to speak

' I know hyung you care for me...and am happy that I have all of you with me...but hyung..I have met my mate who doesn't recognize me after all these years..hyung am 21 no...I have waited all my life for her..now I can't hold back anymore.. I have to go...alone...am already late.. I can't delay anymore'

' Am also coming' Jinhyuk said determined

' You are staying here' Daewoong's voice was deep  'Its my order'

Jinhyuk stilled.... It's true that Daewoong is like his own younger brother..but he can't deny the orders of the Prince of Eleanor

' Yes Prince' He bowed as the prince sneaked out

' I was wrong in judging him...' Nayeon stood up..a lone tear left her eyes ' He cheated me.... I should have bought that chain instead of trusting him'

Nayeon was too hurt....she wanted to gift the prince that chain with the only saving she had...and also she trusted Woong way too much.

She wiped the tear off her face and turned around to leave when she saw someone running towards her...

' H-Heyy' Woong panted as he stopped in front of her' am sorry I was late.... Wait were you crying?'

Nayeon didn't know what to say...she just held her face in her hands as she cried

Woong panicked seeing it...' Heyy.. Nayeon..look at me please... Don't cry' But to his dismay it didn't work. So he did what he thought was the best. He slowly pulled the alpha girl into his embrace... resting her head on his chest

' I th-thought you cheated me... I thought you won't come' Nayeon mumbled

' Why would I lie to such a pretty girl? See am here now...with you right? I won't leave you... Now stop crying'

Nayeon relaxed as Daewoong kept releasing his calming pheromones...

' Thanks' She mumbled shyly as she pulled back...

' You sure being an alpha? Cz you shy away like a cute omega' Daewoong said smugly

' Yaaa am an alpha but I would love to be an omega...they are so precious'

Daewoong looked at the way she turned all angry from being shy and then into a smiling mess ' You are precious'

Nayeon blinked cutely ' Let's sit somewhere yeah?'

Daewoong laughed nodding as they settled down near the lake...both talking and laughing

Time flew by without both of them knowing..and now he had to return to the palace

' Hope you enjoyed my company Nayeon' Daewoong smiled

' I really loved it....' She said excitedly

Daewoong chuckled she really is a child

' Will see you tomorrow then' Daewoong said taking a step back

' sure' She smiled looking at him

Days passed by as both of them started meeting each other.... Daewoong was already head over heels for her...but deep down he felt guilty for lying to her about his identity...

In the beginning he lied because he wanted to get to know about her true self...but then he forbade himself from telling truth because he was afraid..if she comes to know that he is the Prince..then she would start behaving differently... he wanted her to see him as the person he really is than the Prince of Eleanor

Both of them got very close in these two weeks...the coronation is in just one day

' Woong....' Nayeon called him...they were about to go back since it was getting very late ' Its...my birthday tomorrow'

Woong stilled

' Am turning eighteenth and at midnight today I'll find my mate' Nayeon came and stood in front of him ' Every werewolf..no matter of which rank.. always wishes to see their mate the first after they turn eighteenth...but Woong ah...I want to see you first.... I know you like me' Nayeon said and saw the way Woong's eyes widened.... She smiled as she continued 'Its so obvious Woong.... otherwise who does all these for someone whom they have just met and that tooo for what? For not having any friends here... anyways... Woong..You have taken a very special place in my heart...but this will be last time we will meet.'

' What?' Woong looked at her confused

' Tonight... I'll find my mate..and I don't want them to get hurt because of me.... You know that the pain of rejection by mates is too much.... I can't let my mate go through that because of my feelings.... Not only my mate...I can't see anyone getting hurt because of me.. '

' Then what about your feelings?'

' I would happily sacrifice myself for my loved one's happiness......and Woong ah I don't want that chain keep it with you.... Am not completing my promise.. nor do you have to'

' Was your love for me that weak?' Woong asked.... hurt

' No.... But my faith in moon goddess is more....if she has made me for you then I'll be yours no matter what and if she has given me a destined mate I'll end up with that person no matter how many times I reject them..and if that happens you will be shattered.... I can't let that happen.... I'll wait for you here five minutes before its 12' Nayeon started walking away

' Wait... what if your mate loves someone else? Won't you be hurt?' Woong called out

' I'll be hurt either way....but I'll be satisfied seeing you happy with your destined one...and knowing that I am not the reason for anyone's pain'

Daewoong stood by the lake till Nayeon got out of his sight

Seunghun was waiting in Daewoong's chamber when he came back

' Oh..hey hyung' Daewoong mumbled as he came in and started changing his clothes

' What are you upto? Am observing you for the past few days and you have been behaving oddly and lately you are going out disguised and that too alone!' Seunghun exclaimed getting angry but stopped when he saw his brother's eyes casted low

' Woong ah..look at hyung' Seunghun said as he lifted his chin ' Tell me what's wrong'

Daewoong told him everything from the moment he met Nayeon till this evening.

' Why are you upset then? You know you are her mate?' Seunghun asked totally confused

' I know hyung... but she is tooo pure by heart...and here I am.. lying about myself. What if she leaves me when she gets to know about my identity?'

' No you dummy...why would she.. she loves you for the person you are...not your position... now don't be upset and come let's have dinner... The King has asked me to be in his chamber now.. I'll come with him' Seunghun smiled seeing his brother's bunny smile.

' Hyung... Don't tell appa about this' Daewoong said

' why?'

' I want to tell him myself....but not now..Am not ready now. I'll tell him after my coronation. By that time I'll tell her my truth too'

' As you wish' Seunghun agreed as he left

' Ah yes..come inside' The king smiled seeing him

' So as you know...the coronation is tomorrow...and we have a lot of things to be done... You have coordinate everything properly...call Jungjin tooo... otherwise he will just wander around..you know him' both of them chuckled...even though Jungjin was not a royal..he was very close to the royal family and the king absolutely adored him.

' And Jinhyuk will look after his personal things.. Appa I heard that Guem Jae is coming'

' Yess he will come by tomorrow morning and Mina will also be with him'

' Inna is already excited..... those two best friends are really crazy' Seunghun said sighing making the king laugh

' Son..are you sure about your decision?'

' Yes appa... I don't want to be the head alpha nor the king... anyway I'll be with Woong.. helping him'

' Hmm okk' The king stood up ' I have one more thing to discuss with you'

Daewoong was once again by the lake waiting for Nayeon to come.

His heart beating widely against his chest... anticipating Nayeon's reaction

Finally Nayeon came... she looked so beautiful in the white dress...that Daewoong didn't feel like taking his eyes off her.

' It's almost time...just a few seconds more' her voice came out low

Daewoong just nodded not knowing what to say... Nayeon didn't look anywhere near being happy

' Aren't you happy?' Woong asked

' I should be happy...but I guess am not' She chuckled dryly ' Why can't we be with whom we choose'

' Don't worry.. moon goddess is not that cruel' Daewoong smiled widely..

' You behave as if am your mate' Nayeon scoffed but stilled when she saw the smile on Daewoong's face

' Woo-' She stopped midway when she was hit with a strong scent of musk and wet mud. She raised her red orbs to look at Daewoong who was staring back at her..his eyes blazing like a fire.... Mate Nayeon's wolf said

' Told you' Daewoong smiled as Nayeon ran into his embrace

' You knew....you always knew' She cried ' Why didn't you tell me'

' There was a reason for that' Woong said..his heartbeating at a faster pace

' I don't care.... I love you' Nayeon said as she raised her head looking at Daewoong ' I love you so much Woong ah'

Daewoong hugged her close..his eyes filling with tears as his wolf rejoiced ' I love you too my love...I always will'

Both the lovers basked in each other's scent when Seunghun mindlinked him

' Come back fast'

' Hyung.. I haven't told her yet' Daewoong linked back

' Eomma found out that you are not here...I somehow managed for now..she will be back soon..hurry up and I don't think you will be allowed to be out tomorrow...since your coronation is at night' the link was cut off

' Yeonie' Daewoong pulled back slightly ' I have to go now'

' this soon?'

' My hyung linked me... something happened....I have to go back to him'

' When will you return'

' In two days...' He lied ' Here keep this' Daewoong pulled out the chain from his pocket ' Give this to the Prince yourself... I won't be here tomorrow for the coronation..Am sorry love'

' No no Woong ah...you should go to your hyung...You just take care' Nayeon smiled

' I love you' Daewoong pecked her forehead before heading back.

Finally it was the Coronation night.. the whole palace was bustled with loud chatters and laughs... The Kingdom of Eleanor rejoiced as they prepared to welcome their new King...

' My child looks so Handsome' The queen said as she examined her son..the soon to be King.. who just smiled lightly. ' I'll go see the rest of the preparations'

' What's wrong now' Jungjin asked as soon as the queen left. He plopped down beside Seunghun.

' I didn't tell her the truth yet...and I can't tell eomma appa until then' Daewoong sighed ' Today she will see me...she will think that I betrayed her... hyung will she leave me?'

' What? No... Woong come on...that won't happen' Jungjin frowned' Right' he looked at Seunghun who was oddly silent

' Hyung....I can't loose her'

' Loose whom?'

They looked around to see a man standing near the door..with Jinhyuk by his side groaning as the man's cloak got stuck on his boots

' Jae hyung' Daewoong ran to his hyung ' You came too late'

' Had something to deal with..leave that what were you talking about' He asked walking in..

Jeon Guem Jae... Cousin of Min Seunghun and Jeon Daewoong... And the King of Armis .The three of them being the best of friends along with Jinhyuk and Jungjin..

' Only you can help us now Jae' Jinhyuk said as he settled down beside him

' First tell me what's it'

The whole of Eleanor was present for the coronation of their beloved Prince...Prince Jeon Orin Daewoong.. and among them was his beloved Nayeon...

The trumpets blared along with the resonating drums as the royal family walked in...

The King and Queen walked in to the throne room with Seunghun and his wife Inna on both their sides followed by Geum Jae and his wife Mina..

Both the sides of the room were occupied by rulers of other countries and the ministers

The subjects gathered there stood with their hearts in their hand... waiting restlessly for a single glance of the prince...who was last seen on his eighteenth birthday.

Their wait came to an end when the Prince walked into the throne room with Jinhyuk and Jungjin on both his side. The crowd erupted into loud cheers when they saw the handsome prince walking in all proudly... He was dressed in breeches..with boots that reached up to his knees..a poet shirt with waist coat...all royal blue in color with silver buttons and a silver cloak with white fur on the back of the neck, on top of it

He stood tall and confident as the seer came forward and started whispered something that seemed like spells. As he completed it the King motioned him to take the throne

The King took the crown from the Queen and announced

In the name of  moon goddess I now proclaim
Jeon Orin Daewoong as the head alpha of Silver moon pack and the King of Eleanor

The crown was placed on top of his head as the crowd bowed to him.

Long live the King

Daewoong looked at his parents who smiled proudly..he then saw his hyungs and Noonas who looked overwhelmed...his eyes then wandered through the crowd and  stopped on a pair of deep black orbs which sparkled with tears...the beautiful face of Nayeon which always made his heart race ..now look broken...he could feel her pain just by looking at her face

The crowd came forward as one by one they gave the presents which they bought for the king to the guards who collected it

Nayeon wordlessly gave the chain which was now wrapped pleasantly .. to Jinhyuk who came and stood in front of her.. her eyes never leaving Daewoong

Daewoong felt his chest tightning just by seeing her face...he just somehow wanted to rush towards her engulfing her in his arms.

Nayeon took one last glance at Daewoong who was apologizing silently and left

Nayeon stopped on her way outside when she heard someone calling her....

' Nayeon...' The man began ' Am Jinhyuk...I ha-'

' You also were there on the day this all started right?' Nayeon asked her tears never stopping

When Jinhyuk saw Daewoong's face filling with sadness and regret he decided that he has to confront Nayeon.... He expected her to lash out on him for lying and all..but here he was met by a crying girl who just kept her voice low...no anger...no hatred towards him..just sadness.. For the first time in all these days he understood why Daewoong called her his angel...

' I was' Jinhyuk accepted

' Was it all just a play for him? Just tell me once and I'll never ever show you all my face... Nor will I blame anyone because if all of this was a play...just a way of messing with some poor girl from the pack then it was my choice to fall for it... I'll never blame Woo- The King for anything..nor will I try to defame him. I just want to know if all those that I saw in his eyes were mere illusions'

' Nayeon...trust me when I Say that Woong loves you more than his life.....I know he lied..but there is a reason for it.. Am in no position to disclose it to you..but please don't hate him yet.. he will explain everything' Jinhyuk pleaded

' No no... I can never hate him.... No matter whatever he does I'll always love him... Not only because he is my mate...also because you can truly love someone only once and I think I did' Nayeon wiped her tears as she walked away

The royal feast was still in progress when Daewoong excused himself and went back to him chamber only to find his two Noonas and all his hyungs there

' Who was that girl?' Mina asked as soon as he stepped into his chamber

' Noona.. not now.. I'll explain later..Now I have to go' Woong said as he removed his crown

' Now where are you going?' Inna asked as she held her two year old son in her arms

' Let him go...he will explain once he is back' Guem Jae tried only to earn a glare from both the best friends

' Noona I messed up... please let me g-'

' Woong' Jinhyuk barged into the room

' What happened to you' Jungjin asked as he stood up

' Why didn't you tell her? God Woong she is such an angel... ' Jinhyuk spoke as if he was talking to himself

' Hyung?' Daewoong asked confused

' Look I know I was against all these..but I swear on moon goddess if you don't make all these right before midnight I'll personally kill you'

' You know you just declared a war against the whole of Eleanor?' Jungjin said

' Not the time Jung and You go to her now' Jinhyuk raised his voice making the sleeping child wake up and cry

' I just made him sleep' Seunghun groaned as he took his son from his wife's hand...' My Yoongi ah...sleep pup...appa is here' he said as he rocked his son in his arms

' Woong... Talk it all out... She really loves you'

That was all needed for Daewoong to rush out of the palace.

Daewoong's prayers were answered when he saw Nayeon near the lake...her eyes all swollen..

' Yeonie' Daewoong called softly making her turn around ' Am sorry...I can explain..Just one chance'

Nayeon just nodded...she had thought of what Jinhyuk said and decided to listen to him once

' First of all I love you... I didn't mean to betray you' Daewoong said as he sat down beside Nayeon by the lake side

' Me Seunghun hyung Jae hyung Jinhyuk hyung and Jungjin we all grew up together... Jungjin and Jinhyuk are my best friends... Jinhyuk hyung's family had served us for ages and hyung also chose to do so... Everything was going well and being the youngest had its own perks.' Woong chuckled as he continued

' Jae hyung was the first one among us to get married..Seunghun hyung met Inna noona at Jae hyung's wedding...Inna noona was Mina noona's best friend... A year after that Jungjin hyung also found his mate Ara noona .
Destined mates...a concept that was etched into our hearts at a very young age.. making us understand the purity of mate bond... We all wished to find our mates at some point and then dream of a life ahead with them..till our last breath... Jungjin is the most expressive among the five of us and it was not a hidden fact that Jungjin and Ara were head over heels for each other... '

'When I turned eighteenth I also hoped to find my mate..but was disappointed when I didn't... That's when Elen came into our lives.... Jinhyuk was never the one to tell anyone about what goes in his head but when he met Elen the both of them clicked... I have never seen hyung that happy before. They got married and Elen moved in with hyung and that's when things went downhill'

I had something to discuss about the Packs with Jae hyung so Jungjin and Hyung had to stay back.... When we returned back.. that's when she understood that for the world Jinhyuk hyung is just my personal guard who has to follow my every order... She lashed out on him calling him a liar...she considered him to be like Jungjin.. a best friend of mine.. someone who was treated nothing less than a royal..but turned out that her husband was just a slave ' Daewoong mimicked it

' She said like that?' Nayeon asked innocently as he nodded

'But things got totally out of hand when we found out that Elen was pregnant... She didn't want the pup but hyung begged her to keep the baby. Finally a beautiful pup was born...a baby boy...our Joon ... He became hyung's world...He had us all wrapped around his fingers...even little Jinnnie and Eunnie...Jungjin's kids...loved the baby. But Elen's heart didn't melt...she rejected our hyung and left the baby at his Mercy. We all were too hurt and hyung was too heart broken... Appa Eomma got worried and asked hyung to take leave for a while... He obeyed and took his leave but he didn't know a thing about looking after pups... One day Ara noona went there with Jinnie only to find hyung crying on the floor with our little Joonie in his hand who was wailing... Hyung was feeling helpless seeing the baby crying from the morning and he didn't know what to do... Ara noona brought both hyung and Joon to the palace and she raised the kids... Inna noona too had her child..Yoongi at that time.. '

' Your Ara noona is soo kind' Nayeon smiled

' She was....'

' Was?'

' The rogue attack..in which you lost your parents.. we lost our noona on the same day.. She was trying to protect Yoongi and Joonie when she was attacked... Jungjin was broken to the core.. it's only because of Jinnie and Eunnie that he is alive now.' Daewoong sighed ' And about lying to you... I wanted you to love me for who I am by my heart.. not by my position... I didn't want to go through what hyung went...I know I was selfish but I never wanted to hurt you Nayeon.. I love you'

Nayeon cupped his face as she moved closer ' Am glad I listened to your Jinhyuk hyung and gave a chance... It's not your fault Woong ah... I love you' She leaned forward closing the gap between them...Woong instantly reacting by wrapping his arms around her waist.. pulling her close

' I'll talk to eomma and appa about us tomorrow' Daewoong said as he pulled back... smiling when he saw her shy face

' I can't wait to marry you' Nayeon said as she hugged him
