Loud cheers and claps brought Jungkook out of his thoughts. He drew in a harsh breath closing his eyes when a lone tear found it's way down his cheeks.

He slowly opened his eyes only to see Taehyung staring at him..he immediately wiped the tear and gave a beautiful smile as he too clapped

Taehyung saw the way Jungkook's eyes became glossy as the song ended... He bowed to all the people and slowly handed over the guitar to one of the waiters there as he walked down the stage.

' Kookie... what's wrong?' Taehyung asked frowning

' Nothing Tae..why?' Jungkook said smiling

Even though Jungkook was smiling Taehyung could see the pain behind them...he saw the broken look which Jungkook was trying to hide miserably. Even though Jungkook has just become his friend.. Taehyung could easily see through him just by looking at his eyes...there was some sort of connection that he always felt with the male in front of him..

And in this moment Taehyung realized that he doesn't like any other expression on Jungkook's face other than his cute bunny smile and galaxy eyes. Even though it was Jungkook's eyes which were wet, Taehyung was the one to feel it

' Nothing....do you want to drink something or should we go home?' Taehyung asked changing the topic

' Aren't you tired? Are you hungry?'

' Am tired and tooooo hungry...but am craving for appa's food' Taehyung said rubbing his tummy.

' Then home it is... let's go' Jungkook chuckled as he took Taehyung's hand in his own and walking off towards the car as if nothing happened... missing the way Taehyung blushed

' Tae' Jungkook called him hesitating a bit ' The song that you sang in there...'

' Was it bad? Oh god I shouldn't have listen to Jiminie...' Taehyung started rambling

' What? no..no Tae listen...' Jungkook said as he parked his car in front of Taehyung's home and turning towards him. ' It was beautiful...just like you'
Jungkook smiled seeing Taehyung's cheeks turned red ' It's just... I just wanted to know how you know that song...'

' Oh this song... I don't know actually. One day I just sang it out of the blue..appa heard it and made me sing it in front of Dada and Yoongi hyung. And you know Jiminie hyung threw a fit when he got to know that everyone except him heard it' Taehyung laughed ' But then.. Jiminie was the one to tell me to sing it today at the cafe'

' It was really beautiful.. I think you should sing more... I'll gladly listen to you sing all day long' Jungkook winked at him and Taehyung scoffed playfully

' And I think we should head inside' Taehyung said removing his seatbelt

' You go...am already late.. Just tell them I'll stop by someother time'

' Jungkook please... Just say Hello and go...Appa seems to like you a lot. I haven't seen him smile this big ever... I just want him to be happy.. I don't know why am I telling this to you since we know each other only for nearly a week...but-'

' Tae....even though its not that long since you have known me...but as I said earlier.. you can tell me anything...' Jungkook reassured

' I know something has been bothering appa for a long time. Since the moment I had started to understand things...I knew something was off with him. He tries his best to keep me and dada happy. He loves us a lot. But behind his smile there is a pain which he tries to hide. Last day when you came home I saw him smiling and laughing without trying to hide anything...Kookie I just want to see him happy...I don't care how far I have to go to do that...but am ready to do anything... I might be pestering you but if y-'

' Get out' Jungkook said making Tae stop whatever he was telling... ' Get out of the car... Or else am gonna go in...and you'll be sitting here' Jungkook grinned widely before getting out and running in.

' Yahhh' Taehyung smiled running behind him

' Why is he not home yet? I told you not to let him go' Jin huffed as Joon stifled a laugh backhugging him

' Kook will look after him Jinnie...stop worr-'

' Jin hyung Jin hyung'

Both Namjoon and Jin turned around shocked...only to see Jungkook running in with a giggling Taehyung behind him

' Jin hyung save meee' Jungkook yelled as he ran around the couch

' Yaaa you idiot... how could you leave me there alone' Taehyung yelled following him.

Jin held on to Namjoon's hand ' How much I missed this '

Namjoon nodded as he looked at them lovingly

' Jinn hyungiee' Jungkook whined

' Aish am tired come here'

As soon as Jungkook heard Tae saying so...he stopped running an picked him up sitting down on the couch with Tae by his side resting his head on his shoulder

' You stupid! How could you run like this?' Tae asked panting heavily ' Are you a wolf or something?'

' Am an alpha' Jungkook said smiling.. playing along

' Oohoo so you are an alpha now huh?' Taehyung crossed his hands over his chest

' Yeah...and you be my omega then Tae...' Jungkook said wiggling his brow

Taehyung laughed

' what?' Jungkook peeked at him from his shoulder
' Imagine this...Kim Taehyung the omega of the mighty alpha Jeon Jungkook -'

Taehyung stilled.. everything said after that went unheard to him.. the only thing ringing in his ear again and again were omega and mighty alpha Jeon.

Jungkook saw his face going pale. ' Tae you ok?'

Jin and Namjoon shared a concerned look

' yeah...am just tired' Taehyung said leaning back on the couch

' Go and eat.. I'll be going now' Jungkook stood up

' You are going?' Jin frowned

Jungkook remembered all that Taehyung said while they were in the car...his hyung missed him like anything he knew that..and it still hurts him to think that all of this is because of him

' Appa and eomma will be waiting... I'll come some other day?'

' Jungkook do one thing... Bring your appa eomma here...for dinner.. I can meet them...afterall we are partners now' Namjoon said even though his sole aim was meeting his long lost friends. 'And Jiminie was telling that he wanted to meet you' Namjoon suggested

Taehyung didn't like the way Namjoon said that... Why was Jimin this attached to Jungkook

' What about tomorrow?' Jin asked excitedly

' Okk hyung...we will be here tomorrow..ah and..can I bring one of my friends too?' Jungkook asked scratching his neck

' You don't have to ask Kook..' Jin smiled..' we will call Hobi too'

' Sure' Jungkook smiled widely ' Ok then.. I'll leave now'

Jungkook bid good bye as they all went back to their own work

' Go get freshen up and come down... I'll set the table' Ji Eun said when she saw her son walking in

Jungkook nodded running upstairs to take a quick shower

' How was work today' Jisung asked as soon as he sat down for dinner

Jungkook nodded his head ' Went well..but I couldn't complete something I really wanted to'

Jisung got the clear idea that he was talking about his visit to the Library. He didn't want Ji Eun to know about this..this soon because if things won't work out the way they want then it would be like giving false hope to her. They all know how much Ji Eun adored Taehyung. So Jisung rose his brow slightly only for Jungkook to notice

' I..met Tae today.. he had started working part time at Bogum's..as a singer. ' Jungkook said continuing to eat ' And I went to drop him home...I saw Jin hyung and Joon hyung. Appa eomma they have invited us for dinner tomorrow....we will go right?' Jungkook asked expectantly

' Is that even a question Kook??' Ji Eun exclaimed happily.... ' We will be finally meeting them'

' Tae am noticing you from the morning... what's wrong? You haven't opened your mouth since the moment you reached the class....you didn't answer my calls nor messages from yesterday. Even your dada had to call me to inform me that Jungkook is coming for dinner tonight...did I do something wrong?'

Taehyung haulted the scribblings on his book keeping the pen aside as he looked at Jimin who was worriedly looking at him. He felt really stupid for behaving like this..even on the last day of class before vacation.

Taehyung sighed ' Jiminiee..am sorry. I.. I may sound stupid.. scratch that ... I am stupid to think like this...you may even hate me for this'

' Tae tell me what's it...you know I can't hate you no matter what' Jimin cupped his cheeks

Taehyung stared at Jimin with his wide bambi eyes. The way Jimin said that conveyed a thousand deep meanings which are entirely different from the present context. And this was confirmed to Taehyung by Jimin's shaky voice which gave off his raw emotions.

' You...and Jungkook hyung seemed so close to each other...even though you guys have met only once. I am sorry but I felt....jealous. You were my only bestie all these years..This is the first time am making a friend and then suddenly you both click and...I don't know. I never felt like this when you go with Yoongi hyung... I don't even know if am jealous of Jungkook or You... I know you love Yoongi hyung and all...but arghhh....Am sorryy hyungg I don't know whats happening to me'

' Heyy heyy Taetae..look at me baby' Jimin said raising his head ' Don't think too much. Tae..you will be my one and only best friend..my soulmate..no matter which life we are in. And about Jungkook..you matter to him more than anyone else there...we are not gonna leave you. ' Jimin said stroking Taehyung's hair

' Am sorry' Taehyung mumbled...his lips protruded out in a pout as his bread cheeks puffed out

Jimin smiled at the cute sight ' Taetae you are all of ours baby..and we love u a lot...now leave all these... let's enjoy the last day and go home. Jungkook and his family will be coming today right'

' Yess hyungie' Taehyung smiled widely and retuning to scribble..this time to actually draw something

Jimin smiled as he brought his phone out sending a quick text to Yoongi

' Yoongi listen'  Namjoon groaned for the nth time

' Yeah Joon...am listening' Yoongi said getting irritated

' Why are you getting irritated? I should be the one getting irritated by your annoying ass' Namjoon huffed ' Why do I even have to tolerate you?'

' Unlucky you..your husband loves me more..so you have to tolerate this innocent being here' Yoongi said as he continued scrolling through his phone

' Why did I even ask' Namjoon sighed

They were at Namjoon's office discussing on some new project which Yoongi found utterly stupid.
Their little bickering was interuppted by a small chuckle form the doorway

' Kookk' Yoongi was on his feet immediately engulfing the boy in his arms

' Whoa now you are not feeling tired? Idiot' Namjoon mumbled

' Oh shut up Joon' Yoongi said sitting back on his chair

' What are you guys doing' Jungkook asked sitting down

' Enjoying the tea' Hobi smirked playfully looking at Yoongi who was annoying the hell out of Namjoon

' Woahh really' Yoongi exclaimed looking at his phone... And started laughing

' What? Now why are you laughing like an idiot'  Namjoon poked his side still irritated on his behavior from earlier

' Kim your son is jealous of my baby' Yoongi laughed again ' And you know for what? Coz he is getting close to Jungkook'

' What?' Jungkook looked at him shocked

Yoongi showed the text Jimin had sent explaining the situation in detail.

' Oh my poor bear' Namjoon finally sat down at his place

' Does that means he loves me?'

All 3 heads turned towards Jungkook who had his doe eyes wide open shining with excitement and hope. Jungkook saw the way the smile was wiped off of the others' face... silently giving the answer

' Kook... it's Tae we are talking about...and according to him its just a week' Hobi said

' Right' Jungkook said..all his excitement long lost

' But Kook...' Yoongi called him ' He may not be remembering anything..but his heart knows for whom it beats'

Jungkook just nodded his head hoping for the best

Jin was pacing back and forth in the living room waiting for the Jeons to arrive.

' Hyung can you please sit down somewhere... it's annoying' Yoongi said finally looking up from the tv

' Tell me one thing...your whole existence annoys me..but still have I killed you yet? No right..then bear with me' Jin rolled his eyes continuing whatever he was doing

' Why the fuck are you laughing' Yoongi hissed at Namjoon and Hobi who were trying not to laugh aloud

Their much awaited wait was over when the bell rang indicating their arrival

Jin almost ran to the door opening it wide. His eyes shining with happiness excitement longing pain and god knows what all emotions when he saw his long lost family in front of him.

' Eun ah' Jin took her into her arms hugging her tightly

' I missed you' Ji Eun said hugging him back

' Woah no one missed me?'

' Aish you brat come here' Jin said extending his hand towards Jisung who happily came close.

' Kookiee are you here'

They heard a high pitched voice followed by giggles as Tae and Jimin came into view.

' oh..Hi Mr and Mrs Jeon' Taehyung bowed

' Didn't expect this the first time we met right?' Ji Eun smiled

' No Mrs Jeon' Taehyung said honestly

' Quit this formality Taehyung ah...you saved my son's life..so you are also like a son to me.. call me eomma and you can call this old man here anything' Ji Eun said making him giggle

' Yaa...am.not that old' Jisung huffed making them laugh more

' Come let's get inside' Hobi said smiling as they all followed him with a smile on their face.. expecting a happy evening with their family in peace...

Lets just hope that it will be a really peaceful one and not the silence before the storm.
